I searched online for a way to recover funds lost from past online scams (AMSYS, BIGWHALE, NOVATECH and MEROBIT), I ran into Ryan Donald aka https://ryandonaldcrypto.com/, who has videos up online promising to recover these funds. I reached out to him on telegram ap, and he told me that while we WILL recover the lost funds- he also has a trading company through CSTRADES.COM. I was skeptical, but thought I'd give him/them a try with $500 - the minimum he would work with. I deposited this, and he began working with me- doing 1 trade a day and showing amazing results (the trades were done on CSTRADES.com). Donald told me that he has around 100 'students' and they all had balances in the $100k range, and if I were to continue, I had to up my balance to $10,000, which I slowly did. We then made 2 trades a day and I quickly doubled my money- I was able to withdraw on occasion, but Donald always discouraged this and would threaten not to work with me if I withdrew. He also wanted me to keep depositing. Shortly after NYE- on 01/01/2024, CStrades.com went offline completely, I asked Don what was going on, and he informed me that Cstrade's server had dropped them, but not to worry, things would be back online in 3 short days. I waited, and true to his word, they became PROEXBTC.com- and promised to transfer funds (at this time I had close to $22,000- of which approximately $8,500 were my deposits. Donald and ProexBTC DEMANDED a deposit of $1,000 USD to 'activate' this new account and promised all the funds would be transferred over- I foolishly believed them and transferred another ($470.69 on 1/4/24 and $573.61 the same day), my account was activated and the money lost from cstrades.com was successfully brought over to the new site proexbtc.com. I tried withdrawing .25 BTC- or $12,500 USD out of my then $26,500 account balance, and Proexbtc notified me there was an 'issue' with my account. They asked me for a photo, with my ID, current BTC price, my BTC address- many things handwritten, all which I DID (I'll attach the photo), then they claimed I had 2FA authentication issues and they could not release my deposit unless I submitted ANOTHER 0.0584 BTC- t 'activate' my account. Again, stupidly I trusted them and sent 0.0595 BTC- and they still didn't release my 0.25 BTC- they claimed I sent 'too much' and had to RESEND another 0.0584 BTC- I sent more because there's slippage and fees when sending crypto and no one can send the exact amount. They are a predatory scam company; I believe with all my heart that Donald Ryan Crypto is a part of it and together they have stolen my initial $12,500 USD investment. I pray all justice to the fullest extent of the law be brought upon Proexbtc.com and Donaldryancrypto.com, I'm sure they have stolen from other investors before, and unless stopped, they will continue to do so. I'm not naive to believe I'll ever see my investment again- but I do not want them to hurt anyone else. My total lost not including gains in the scam program- just fromm my Coinbase Crypto- which I can show proof of, is aproximately $12,500. I informed them of my intent to make a statement to the FBI and local police- and they have now blocked my access to my account completely. They informed me today, 01/14/2024 that they will be permanently closing my account in the next 24 hours, and I will not get any of the money back unless I send 0.0583 BTC (roughly $2,400).
