I received a call from someone named Andrew, he said he was from Publishers Clearing House and I was a winner. He told me I won $5.9 million and a brand new truck. They told me I would need to purchase a $500 gift card.

He said his name was Bill Clark. He used a badge # 4215PA. He said I had won 3.5 million dollars from PCH but that I had to pay a small fee to get it. He used reference # 99955401PA. He tossed out some names to send the money to: Michael Anderson & Daniel Lamb. He didn't have a foreign accent just sounded like a regular guy. I wanted to see just how far he would go to try and scam me so I played along to get him to give me more details. I knew it was a scam from the beginning but someone desperate for the money may have fallen for his lies.

This Tony Edwards claimed to be from Publisher’s Clearing House. He was in the area from Las Vegas to deliver the prize to me personally. Also gave an employee ID #. He said I had won $950,000 plus $50,000 cash plus $5,000 a month for life, plus a new Chevy Silverado Truck. I had to hav 2 forms of ID plus a receipt with the date on it fro a grocery stor, etc. I think they wanted me to get $300 as proof then I’d get to keep that as soon as they verified my identity. Sounded pretty fishy to me, so I contacted Publishers Clearing House, and it was not them.

Gave a claims # 25467. Knew my name. Claimed to be Dave Sayre from Publisher's Clearing House. Had an American accent. Said I had won 8.5 million $. Claimed to be legit. Needed 3,500.00$ for government registration. Would I be able to come up with the money. I said it depends, after I check out to make sure if this is a legit call. Then he hung up after he said he would need to check with his manager.

I am 85 yrs old. Three days ago, I received a phone call from a man. He said I'd won a lot of money from Publisher's Clearing House, $500,000. He asked if ___ was my address, and I said yes. He asked if I was married or lived alone. I said I was married. He asked if my husband was home, and I said: "No, he's at work". he asked if I had a life insurance policy. I said yes, $25,000. He took pictures of me. Then he said he had to access my checking account to see if he could deposit $5,000 into your checking account. I gave him remote access to my phone. He asked if I had another checking account, and I said no. He said stop lying, I can see it. I said I did but couldn't access it because I can't remember the password to it. He said "you have to know what it is". I told him I just can't. He hung up. An hour later a woman called. She was very nice. She began asking me questions about my checking account. She said she needed to have a meeting with her people, but never called back. Yesterday, I got a Facetime call, so I turned my phone off. Then I got something on the front of my phone which said to call 911. I called 911. I spoke to an Operator who asked if I had an emergency, I said no, but my phone told me to call you. he hung up. An hour later a police woman came to my home. She asked why I had called 911 so I showed her my phone. She told me to block the caller, Anthony, and then she blocked him for me. At Christmas time, a man called me, and he was talking about me winning money. I told him taht Paypal and Wlmart said I have $1,000 each, but I don't know how to access it. he told me he could access it for me. I gave him remote control of my phone. I looked at my checking account 3 days later, and found three debits: $37, $149, and $233.01. I called my bank, Woodforrest to dispute the charges. They said they would not accept the dispute as I had given them permission to take the money. The same day a woman called me. She seemed elderly and feeble. She asked if I had nay bills. I said I had one for $1500. She said she would take car of my bills for $200 a month. I told her I would give her $200. I gave her my debit card number. She took $200 out that day, and $200 out the next week. I returned to the bank, and disputed the withdrawals. They said they would not help me as I had given her my debit card number, so she had my permission to take the money. Then I called her and told her she scammed me. She blocked me. I used my husband's phone and called her, and someone answered "hello". I hung up. My son was dying and I was overwhelmed.

Received a call from Mark Franklin from Publishers Clearing House. He said I won 8.5 million dollars and a mercedes. To claim my money I had to deposit $1850 into a chase bank account in the name of Justin Mitchell. I went to post office and got 2 money orders, one for $1000 and the other for $850 and deposited into Chase in the branch at the account number Mark gave me. Chase said it was a valid account. I got then got a call from someone fromt he IRS saying if I cancel my winnings I would owe $9000 to them for back taxes. Mark called back after I deposited the money and said a bank account at Bank of America in Las Vegas was opened for me. I could call and verify that at 702-430-3943. I do not see a bank with that phone number, so I think they are posing as Bank of America too. I am filing a police report.

Said he was from PHC and I had won 3.5 million dollars. Gave his badge number, my winning number. Said they needed a processing fee of $500 to be sent before they could process this. Told me not to tell anyone about this not even my family. I was to mail this over night express to an address he would give me when I got to the post office. He offered to give me lending companies if I needed to borrow the money. Mentioned going to Dollar General or CVS pharmacy not sure why then decided on the post office. Said I would mail this to a Licensed Merchant Banker. No name until I got to the post office. Said he was a Christian man. Badge number 330 309 PCH Winning number 940 00003 55558 PCH or TCH not sure which. A winning car was Mercedes Benz red with beige interior. Repeated not to tell my family and let it be a surprise. The name ha used was Joe Maxwell

They scammed my husband pertaining they are PHC and that he had won money and a car.They call from these phone numbers also 914-602-5448 & they are the same people. They call his phone all day and night and When I blocked his phone they call back from different phone numbers. Scammer called claiming to be David Moore from PCH. Scammer stated I won $13.1 million plus a new car. He gave me a verification code of 758000619. I was told the deliver team was on the way but I needed to meet at a public place like a Walmart to sign papers. I told him the call was cutting out and I asked him to repeat what he said. He told me that if I wasn't using google, I would be paying attention and would have heard him. I informed them that was a rude statement unprofessional. The caller then hung up.

Someone left me a voicemail saying I was the 1st prize winner for Publishers Clearing House. I called back and spoke with someone who said his name was Victor. He asked me for my first and last name, I told him I wasn't comfortable giving my last name. I told him my name was Sharon and he said there was no Sharon, someone else won the prize and he hung up.

The scammer said I won PCH and all I had to do was pay a certain amount to receive the prize. I paid it, then they said the price went up, I paid it, then there was something else. I actually went on the official site and asked and they told me it was a scam, so here I am.

Received text messages stating it was sent from Publishers Clearinghouse and that I had won a large sum of money and in order to receive it, I would need to follow the instructions in the message.

The scammer stated his name was Johnny Jones calling from New York 516-730-5142. Had a badge #42157 calling from Publisher's Clearing House 101 Winner Circle Jericho, NY. Stated I won 8.5 million dollars. This check will delivered in 2 hours by Michael Anderson, Dave Sawyer, Danielle Lamb and special guest Steve Harvey. Asked 7 questions.

1. How long have I been associated with Publisher

2. Was I over 65 yrs old

3. Did I live in an apartment or home.

4. How did I want this award to come by private or with camera's.

5. Did I handle finances

6. What was my status, single, widowed, married

7. What was my job title.

Talked about IRS and advise to go to Walgreen and get a money pack scratch card and put $500.00.

I knew this was a scam at this point and the guy admitted he was in Jamacia, and did I want to suck his d***? Got very upset and started yelling because I told him to send me $500.00 and after the 2 hours if Publishers showed I would return his $500.00 payment. I not sure who to report this to but someone should shut it down so others aren't scammed.

They indicated i won $855,000 plus a 2024 Mercedes Benz thru Publishers C!earing House and they would deliver the check, car,roses, etc at noon today. Told me to keep it private as it was noone's business. They even texted pictures on the Mercedes.

I checked with PCH and they verified i was not a winner and it wss a scam and to report it to ScamPulse.com as well as them

I received a phone call on 12/06/24 from a male stating that I had won $27m and a 65" tv from Best Buy. They wanted me to get $726.77 and pay it to the U.S. treasury dept. I said I don't have that kind of money, can't you take it out of my winnings and he said I can't do that. At that point, I hung up.
