Told me he was from the publishers clearing House. Same man calls for my elderly mother all the time. Claiming we have won a certain amount of money or a cadalac and is in town waiting for me to drive down and pick it up. Eventually he gets to the part where he always asks for money before he is able to give us the enormous check. He has been calling for years and knows my mother by name.

Caller called elderly mother claimed winner pch millions.sent faxed documents to library ftc, and bbb, of pch statements of millions prize winner .

Asking her to send $4900 to claim prize to be sent after $4900 is sent to them.

- Boise, ID, USA

It started with a phone call from a Dave Sawyer (heavy accent) explaining how much I had won. He wanted an email address to send me the information on the prize of $8.8M plus a Mercedes sedan. They showed a check from bank of America in that amount and a Pic of a guy holding a big check with myt name on it. There was also an "itemization" if the winnings with a breakout for IRS Processing fee of $984. They needed that amount in a cashiers check sent to someone in Tucson before the payment could be released. I bit. They also had the names of the presenters and a GM for verification. I then received an "IRS" letter with my name misspelled and strange wording needing another $2600 for state and income taxes. That was the red flag for me. I bid them a nasty good bye.

Received telephone call from Tom Goodman stating they were from Publisher's Clearing House. Said she won 2.5 million and a car. Said she needed to call Bank of America at 562-253-2915 and gave her an account number. She called the number and gave her social security number and birthdate to David WIilliams. They knew her name already. When they called the number then number back this morning it wasn't a bank.

I received a call informing me that I was a winner in the Publishers Clearing house sweepstakes. I knew this was a scam because I never entered the sweepstakes. I decided to see where the call led. The man gave me his name and ask me to repeat it back to him which I did not. He then asked me to repeat some of the initial information he gave me and I told him that I couldn't remember. He asked me to write numbers down on a piece of paper. He have me an ID #, a ticket #, a Bar code #, confirmation #, Ref #. Once I had written everything down he asked me to read everything back to him so he could record it for the BBB, Bank of America and someone else that I cannot recall. I told him that I was having problems hearing him and would like to call him right back. He gave me his phone # 571-216-8836 and said his name was Andy Golderg. I called him back and he answered so I know it is a legitimate phone number although he did not answer with a company name but it was his voice. He wanted me to repeat the numbers back to him and I again said that I was having phone issues and asked if he would send me the information and I would get it notarized and sent back. I asked him if he had my address and he said yes. I asked him to repeat it to me so that I made sure that it went to the proper address. He hung up on me and when I tried to call him back, he did not answer. He was clearly trying to record me.

My Dad received a call from a man claiming to be from "Publisher's Clearing House." He said "You've seen our ads on TV right?" He said that my Dad had won "Second Prize of $2.5 million" and to grab a piece of paper to write some things down. My dad (knowing that it was a scam) asked how much this was going to cost him. The scammer said "$2500." My Dad told the man to "stick it where the sun don't shine" and the caller hung up.

On Saturday March 9th they called me and my husband and then got my number and had both phones tied up at one time. He went and got an Amazon gift card for 499.99 and gave them the numbers off the back of the card. Our daughter got involved at that point and goggled the numbers they were calling from and it said Jamaican money scam. Since then they have called his phone almost every day. Today a lady called and said we needed to pay tax on the money and the car we had won and said she was from the US Treasury Dept. We told her we had not won anything and she said she would talk to David and get it straight. He is the guy we gave the gift card number to. He then called and told my husband to get in the car and go to our bank and he said no they had stole the gift card money and he was not going to the bank. The other numbers they called from was 876 958 0181 and the lady today called from 269 651 4115. Thank you

I just got a call from Victor Fernandez saying he was with Publishers Clearinghouse and that I had won 1.9 million dollars and a Mercedes in a blind draw they had. They wanted to deliver the check and car today, but I first had to pay $900 some dollars for fees. I said I would call them back. He gave me a number and then I called the attorney general's office to check it out. While on hold with the attorney general's office, they called again and when I told them who I was on hold with, they hung up on me. I guess I'm no longer a winner.
