My first phone call was blocked with an unknown so I'm not sure of the number but they called back in less then 5 mins to double check (not a blocked number but it was from Jamaica) how to spell my first name only. They also claimed how I won was Publishers clearing house keeps track of whenever you buy groceries and anytime you spend over $10 at ANY chain store you are entered into a raffle drawing. The final thing he said to me was that I needed to not tell anyone that I have Won 2nd place for publishers clearing house grand prize.

I received a call from Brandon Meyers, agent with PCH, USA Direct saying that I had won money. He called last week and wanted me to pay $5,000. Today he called and said he needed $900 for a registration fee. When I said I did not have the money he lowered it to $400. He gave me a tracking number of DPL1844US. They are supposed to pick me up in a limo and take me to Bank of America to deposit my winnings, AFTER I pay the registration fee.

Terry called and ask to me, he said i won PCH 3 different amounts of money 2.5 million and 35,000, 5000 a week for life. I transfer me to another person which i could not understand. Thats when i told them it was scam they said no it not. They said they would call back the next day but didn't. They call 2 days later told me i needed to paid 250 to get my check. 2 day ago i received a call from UPS saying they had a package for me. I told them they are wasting my time with this.

A woman by the name of "May Gordon" contacted me saying she was with Winners International Game & Board and associated herself with Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes The phone number was from Novelty, OH (440-557-2262). She said I won 2nd place for a grand prize of $2.9 million, as well as, a 2018 Mercedes Benz coupe. Along with this came a free Geico insurance for a year, a gas card for several months, and a Wal-Mart gift card. I was then asked if I would be interested in a 2 week vacation to a destination resort. I was given a cashiers check number "3060" from Bank of America, winning number "97408215US", and a claim number "0015559999858770USA". I was told UPS would deliver the check, and a tow truck/rollback would be delivering the vehicle and I would need the numbers above to receive them. Then I was told that to transport the money and vehicle I was responsible for 2% registration fee, which was totaled at $550.00. Once I paid this registration fee, I would receive a receipt that would be Notified so I could cash the check at my bank. The lady said this was to transport the vehicle and check to my state. I asked for an address to send the money to but "May Gordon" said she would have to call down to her accountants office to see who was working and find out that information for me and would call me back with the details. I was never asked for any personal information (SSN, account numbers, etc). However, I was asked if I was over the age of 55, if I had good credit with my bank, and my marital status. Knowing this was a scam I tried to get as much information as possible to report this company, person, and scam so others would not fall into the trap.

He said that I would need to pay $7500 for taxes by wiring money. He asked if I had that money at home and could I afford that amount. I told him I not have that amount at home and why don't they just take it out of my winnings. He assured me that this was normal and that I would get it back when they came to my house to present the check. He asked if he could check the department of revenue to see if I was trustworthy. I told him go ahead, but I did not give him any personal information. He came back on and told me, yes, I was an honest person. I was on the phone with them for 2 hours. When I got off I called the BBB to see if this was a scam.

I was contacted through Facebook messenger. They hacked my friend's account. Scammer told me I won a Publisher's Clearinghouse prize of $35,000. He said, hey it's good to see you're online. He said I can't believe you haven't claimed your money. He messaged me pictures of people standing by the Federal Express truck. Alberto Rodrigeuz (?) said he was going to bring me $35,000 if I paid $650. I messaged him all night. I really believed I won the money. They gave me a code. He said: "IMPORTANT NOTICE WE ASK THAT YOU SHOULD KEEP THIS BENEFIT STRICTLY FROM PUBLIC NOTICE UNTIL YOUR GRANT HAS BEEN DELIVERED TO YOUR HOME. THIS IS PART OF OUR SECURITY PROTOCOL TO AVOID DOUBLE CLAIMING OR UNSCRUPULOUS ACTS BY BENEFICIARIES OF THIS PROGRAM."

I have forwarded all of the Facebook messages to BBB.

Received call from David Hayes of Publishers Clearinghouse that I had won $950,00. I needed to send $350 by Money Gram at CVS but that did not go through. I got a money order at the post office and sent it to Frank Dixon. He told me to send payment to Frank Dixon because he handled that. Then I was told I needed to send $1000 to get a stamp put on the check because of Ohio Law. I mailed the money order to Maryland. After a few days I received another call that I needed to send $1700. He had asked that I pay by American Express. But I told him that my limit was only $200. David gave me a routing number (272481567) for account 000026882254920 to give American Express to pay off the bill. I called American Express to check if my card was paid off. They told me no, the routing number was not legal. They sent me a later explaining the payment was rejected: unable to locate account.

"David Rosenberg" called and stated that he was the Executive Director of the Southwest PCH Office. He stated that I had won $6.8 million, a $25,000 bonus and a 2018 Jeep Cherokee. He stated the Brinks Armored Service and top executives from PCH would be arriving at my house at 2:30 pm CST with my prizes. Of course, he wanted to confirm my name and address, so I asked him what name and address he had on file. He confirmed my name and where I lived, but NO physical address. After giving me a confirmation number and Brinks tracking number, he stated that I had to pay the taxes for the vehicle. I asked if I had to pay over the phone and he said "No, that would be illegal". He went on saying that I could wire him the money via my bank or Wal-Mart. He asked me to send the money ($725) to "Olando Nicholson" in Appleton Wisconsin. Once I had completed the transaction, I was to call 205-315-4305 to confirm I sent the money.

Publishers Clearing House scammer said that I won 207 million dollars and a 2017 Mercedes. To claim this prize I need to open a new bank account. Not going to do it.

A guy called and said I'd won a million dollars, that is a thousand a week for the rest of my life and wasn't i excited? When I did not respond, he went on to say that I now owe the IRS 1% or $3,500 and he would take care of that and how was I prepared to pay that today? I hung up

I received a phone call from a man named Michael Anderson. He said he was a representative from PCH. He said I had won 7.5 million dollars and a new Mercedes. He and his manager, from New York, supposedly needed money for fees, storage, gold seal... They want to know your age and when they find out you are 60 or over then the money they ask for keeps on and on. Please help the elderly for such abuse.

My 96 year old father in law received a call from Robert Anderson, who said he was calling on behalf of Publisher's Clearinghouse, and that he had won. He asked if he wanted it delivered like TV or wanted it deposited in his account. He'd won 5 million in cash and a Mercedez Benz. I returned the call and got a pre-recorded electronic voice. He said if anybody else calls you about this, just hang up. Then a call came in from Kingston, Surrrey,  Jamaica, it was Robert Anderson 876-897-5460, he was asking for my father-in-law. I said I was with the Ohio Attorney General, and I wanted to know who he was working for. He hung up.
