- Racine, WI, USA

Caller stated I won $500,000 from PCH sweepstakes. I hung up on him.

Said that they were from Publishers Clearing house and I had won $950,000 plus a new Mercedes, before I was to receive the prizes, I had to pay the taxes first, wanted me to go to a Walmart and get a cashiers check and had to call them back, they had no specific info and hung up after I asked to many questions.... I was able to actually call and get the same person back on the phone and just cussed them out

Received a phone call. Subject asked if I could hear him. He stated that he was from Publishers clearing house. I hung up

Recieved call saying they were from Publishers Clearing House coordinating with UPS. Said I won 2.5 million and Mercedes. Prize patrol would be at my door in 45 minutes. Rep from PCH would be there along with other people including a tax person etc. Then transferred me to another similar number to the "CEO" of company. Told me I needed $399 to give delivery driver for the Mercedes, but it could not be cash or check. I hung up on him at that point and he called me back! He was rude at that point when I told him that it was all a bunch of BS, that I should not have to pay anything to win and that I would only "jokingly"believe it when they showed up in driveway!! Then I hung up. They tried to make me stay on the line probably so I couldn't contact anyone else or look up there number. I did not give out any private information. First caller sounded American second one was definitely foreign. Apparently after looking up area code, from Jamaica. I would like to add that the first scammer was very good at it, I normally hang up immediately when receiving these type of calls but he sounded like anyone's grandpa!

I got a call on my cell phone.the man said he was jack nickelson from publishers clearing house. I asked what number she won from. He couldn't verify that at the time. He asked my grandmother if she had a car and driver's license to make t o Walmart to send money . That she would have to show the reciept to the team when they arrived. I asked why should my grandmother pay taxes on something she hasn't gotten yet He wanted to stay on the phone with me until I go to Walmart and paid $350 10% in taxes and in 35 minutes to an hour the team and news will be theretheo give her her certified check. I told him that i'd need to write the information down first and drive to the store. He then put a female with the same type(Indian-middle eastern) accent to spell the IRS accountants name Rosalie Nemeth and to send it to North Port, Florida 34286. I told them I have a flip phone can't speaker the phone and Oklahoma you can't drive and talk and I hung up. I called the number back and it said the person your trying to contact is not taking calls at this time. I looked up Rosalie Nemeth North Port, Florida and that lady is old and white and is 75 years old. Not the accent i was hearing on the phone. Some one should call that lady and tell her ,her identity has been stolen 9414266754

A "restricted" call came to my cell phone. When I answered, the caller identified himself as from PCH and told me I was one of 3 phone numbers in Idaho selected to win 3.5 million dollars. I questioned why they were calling instead of showing up at my door. He said they had to make sure I was home and that they had to complete this today. I told him I didn't want to waste my minutes answering his questions and that I was sitting at a Drs. Office. He wanted to know how long I would be there...can tell he's not been in a Drs. office very often. He just needed to know a few things...just then the Dr. came in, so I hung up. Within a minute, I recvd another call which I immediately turned off.

My mother is 80 years old. She received a call from John Kingston (876)3986005 -who told her she was a contest winner and took her credit card information over the phone. John Kingston also reached us from telephone number (929)8004078.

I was suspicious and cancelled the transaction with the credit card company. I then spoke to Mr. Kingston, who transferred the call to a man with somewhat of a Jamaican accent - David Sawyer (760)6007915 ( I am aware that there is an actual rep named David Sawyer at the official PCH, he is the gentleman who hands out the sweepstakes checks) the impostors also mentioned that they are affiliated with BBB.

Once I told the scammers I was going to report them , the rep "Mr. Sawyer" began to curse me out, and it was then VERY clear that he did have a Jamaican accent .

John Carpenter from PCH Canada sent me international prize award.

Says won $860,000 and a 2017 Mercedes Benz car. $1000 a week for life. Had to pay $460 upfront.

The male identified himself as being with Publishers Clearing House. He went on to say I had won over a million dollars, and a Mercedes. He asked if anyone would be at home, and also said paperwork would be available at 'Walmart' to fill out. Of course I knew it was a scam, I said I would look over any official mail I received, and continued to be uncooperative.... he quickly hung up ... just as I had expected. Be aware.

Said they were with PCH and had a prize waiting to be delivered, would I be home? I said you woke me up. He repeated it and I laughed. He said are you understanding me? And stupidly I said Yes, what? They hung up. Their number was 18764644132 This was at 6:36am 4/42017

He called by name.  They work with Publishers Clearing House.  We have to go over to the bank, Wells Fargo.  These two men will go with me to the bank and they needed $1,000.00.  I was also going to get a new car and thousands and thousands of dollars with a mega million power ball.  He sounded like an American.  I asked I for the phone number and he gave it to me.  229-329-6406.   He said he has been doing this for years.  I told him know but he didn't want to take no for answer.

Jack Hanover said I won 3rd place in publishes clearing house new car and 5 thousand dollars a week all I had to do was call this John Malone ex5 with pkg claim #00157 I don't know what would have happened but I did not call, original caller called back a minute after first call didn't answer

Call comes in as Jamaica Call 1-876-488-2723 - they call very often and have done so for several months. 1st time they called they said they were co-workers long lost relative and to send them money. They called again and tried to say that they received a letter from her about a subscription she requested. Another call they claimed that she had won a prize. Another time when we told them to stop calling because we know they are scammers the person got mad and told us, to put it simply as it was very descriptive, to perform oral on him (this has happened on more than one occasion when we call them out).

- Lubbock, TX, USA

I received a phone call from a person saying they were with the BBB and were calling to let me know that I had won a lottery. I hung up on them.

- Madison, WI, USA

Person claimed to be General Manager of Publisher's Clearing House and talking about something. I couldn't understand them and I hung up. They called back and instead of hello I said an annoyed Yes, then realized what I just did and was kicking myself. They started to scold me for hanging up and I asked how they got my number. I told them I'm on the do not call list and they should not be soliciting me. More claims to be GM of PCH, yadda, yadda, yadda. I hung up again and saw the number from Jamaica.

A man called my grandmother saying she had won publishers clearing house and wanted her to mail them $700 And they would deliver her prize to her. She told them she didn't have $700 so he told her if she sent them $100 They would deliver her prize to her.
