Letter says Winners Claiming Agency, 382 Channel Dr. , Pt Washington, NY 11050 Ph 587-723-1682 Payout prize of $1,150,000 Says to call Mr. Eugene D. Jamison, Sr. for method of payment to my preferred bank account. Says my prize is deposited with their correspondent Financial Security Bank, in their suspense account. It has been insured in my name awaiting remittance into my designated bank account. Says I must keep this confidential until the winner is officially announced.

Letter has Ref #GWY11000/PCH/18

I did not respond, nor give them any of my information. I am a 75 yr old but I'm not afflicted with mental impairment yet. wi

Elderly widowed mother got repeated calls from fake PCH caller telling her that she didn’t need to enter to win a prize. Scammer referenced $7,000/week prize, 4 million $$ prize, new Mercedes automobile. Ultimately convinced her to transfer $1,500 into his account to cover fees and taxes. Fortunately she used a cashiers check, and we were able to stop the transaction and get her money back. This caller spent a lot of time grooming an elderly woman.

Business told person that they were holding a check in persons name for nine hundred million, but that the person had to send three hundred dollars in order to obtain the cash. Person hung up once man said correct on the amount that had to be given first.

A man called saying he was Publisher's Clearing House and I won $2.5 million and a 2018 cherry red Mercedes Benz. He didn't ask any personal information, but gave me codes for security, etc. that I was to write down. It sounded like a legitimate thing until he asked to go to a Western Union and put money onto a card. He insisted that I would be able to hold onto the card until I received my prize. When I questioned about the legitimacy of the prize, he said what's $550 to what you would win. At this point, I googled and read Publisher's Clearing House, while although it is a real thing, they will never call you ahead of time if you actually win. So while it sounded like a legitimate thing, a quick Google search reassured my suspicion that this phone call was too good to be true and I promptly told the man I was hanging up and reporting him. Never give out personal information or pay anything ahead of time, no matter how legitimate it sounds.

I just got a call stating that I had won the publisher clearing House sweepstakes for 2.5 million plus a 2018 Mercedes car. I recorded this entire phone call if anyone needs it. A Mr. Jon Bennington was the one I spoke with wanting me to stay on the phone until I got to the bank to get a money order to cover 5% of the taxes, $3500 he said.

After I hung up I called my 90 year old dad and he had gotten a call from them saying that he had won 5 million. My dad gave them info that I knew not to. These people need stopped! Elderly people who have been everything PCH think it's for real.

"Bill Wisman" from "Publisher's Clearing House" called me to say that I won $17.3 million dollars and I just needed to pay $2,300 to receive it. Knowing this was a scam I told him I had no money to give him. He tried making a deal with me, and I told him we don't have any money. I told him "let me see what I can do and I'll call you back" knowing full well I wasn't going to call him back. He told me "ok" and gave me his number.

Shirley Received a phone call that she had won 8.5 million dollars and A BMW. They 35% taxes taken out from the Federal government and they also asked that she pay $7,980 processing fee. They reached out to her and stated that they could help her with the payment and gave her a return number to call. After speaking with him she hung up as she thought it was a scam.

A scammer has contacted my elderly mother and somehow sweet talked her into believing she won a huge amount of money. she had to send them a cashiers check to receive her prize. she started to send the money via federal express, but luckily, she came to her senses. the scammer called her repeatedly afterwards to know when the money would be sent. he was very professional sounding and very convincing. BE VERY CAREFUL PEOPLE. THEY ARE PREYING ON OUR ELDERLY CITIZENS.

on or around October 25 or 26th i received several phone call from a gentleman claiming to be from publishers clearing house and the reason for so many calls cause he kept saying sorry we were disconnected do you mind me calling from another number he proceeded to ask me to right down every thing he said then read it back to him grand prize winner red truck 5000 dollar gift card to Walmart for shopping for life even went on to so called give me his name and badge number at the end of the conversation he proceeded to ask for 515 dollar in order for me to claim my prize i told him from the start if he even thought about asking me for my personal information over the phone i would have him up on charges he than finally hung up

Earlier this morning I got a call from a Frank Logan saying I had won the 2nd prize drawing for Publishers Clearinghouse for 2 million dollars. This man who had a accent said I needed to go to Walmart and wire them $275.00 to a Barbara Barrymore in Cincinnati 45238 to cover some fees. That's when I figured it was a scam.

I had a man call me and say he was from the ScamPulse.com and that I had won a lot of money. He said he was a spokesman for Publishers Clearing House and that I can get my check today for the $850,000 I won. He started asking me all kinds of questions, but before I could answer I told him I had better check with my son-in-law.

He told me I won 2nd place in the PCH sweepstakes I'd won 1.5 Mil. Gave me wining # to keep for when PCH came to my house to verify. then asked that I pay a $1200.00 registration fee? I told him I didn't have that kind of money. He called back said the trust would cover my fee for $2400.from my winnings, then they told me PCH requires that I be debt free an ask for credit debt amount and mortgage debt amount. N who was my banking names. I was Leary (SCAM) So I asked for written PCH rules that required this cause I wasn't about to give out my account # without certified Doc. from PCH requesting this info. Still haven't received it. This started on 10-17-18 last call was 10-22-18 I had text this # requesting rule requirements be sent to my home address which I supplied. these guy's were very convincing!?

James Washington - phone is Jamaica, NYC. this man goes on and on saying you won a$1 million in the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes because you filled out and entered. Wanted cell phone and bank. Wanted you to open up a bank account. Went to bank to see if won and the banker said there have been a lot of people coming in saying they received this phone call.

For some reason they wanted the cell phone number. This is awful. Preying on the elderly.

I just got a call from Mega Millions/Publisher's Clearing House/Sweepstakes saying that I won the grand prize $500,000 and somebody from Wells Fargo and Bank of Hawaii and a US Marshall would be coming to the house - the Marshall's name is Tom Anderson. The winnings were tax free

**consumer's husband died 5 days ago.

I received a mailing from Publishers Clearing House USA-Canada Mailing states I won $600,000. There is a check enclosed for $7806.67. The return address on the envelope is P.O. Box 1656 New York NY 11009. Phone The phone number on the letter is 570-445-4430 call Claims Agent Alex Gomez. They would like to know method of payment and most convenient payment arrangement. The check shows Odyssey Enterprises 3069 Crater Lake Ave. Medford OR 97504. Small print shows National Lottery. I did not call the phone numbers.

I received a letter claiming that I had won $6000,000.00 in a publishers clearing house sweepstakes and that I had not responded to any of their correspondence so this was my final notice. They said my entry was a result of credit card expenditures, past subscriptions, and store rebates in north America. I received a check drawn on USBANK for $7,472.55 from JB JORDON &ASSOCIATES, PO BOX 3629 , EUREKA, CA. 95502. I was told to contact their branch office at (1-585-633-6600) and speak to claims agent (Sylvia Scott) for method of payment. I did call them but did not get an answer. It was after the deadline. I assumed they wanted me to deposit the check and send them a certain amount by a certain deadline and then the check would be no good.

Someone named John Carpenter, claiming to be with Publishers Clearing House calls, Caller ID shows Kingston,JM

He assures you that it isn't a scam. Gives an ID badge Number, Package claim number, asks for your name and address to have your prizes sent to you. Says you've won large sum of money and a car. Tells you to go to nearest Walmart and register your package. He says that the package has to be registered to bring into the state, and that the IRS required it. If you hang up, he continues to call and begins to get agitated that you hung up on him. He says that they actually were hacked and had people impersonating them.

I got a phone call from what they claimed to be "Publishers Clearing House" asking if I had signed up recently. I said yes since I had quite some time ago. They said congratulation you've won *** Million dollars can we deliver it to you? I wanted to keep them on the line and learn more so I played along and told them I had moved to LA recently. They hung up. Maybe five minutes later I got a call from the same man telling me his name was Donald Franklin and he was the manager of Publishers Clearing House. They then led me down to my car to beep the horn two times in order to verify security for a ScamPulse.com recording that they were making for "security purposes". I told them, this is a scam and you are doing a terrible job of convincing me otherwise. Donald replied by saying no we are just taking all the necessary steps to make you a happy man and this is when I requested to speak with his boss. I was transferred to, the transfer being him muting the phone until he found someone for me to talk to, a man claiming to be the CEO of Publishers Clearing House named James Kingston. Once he told me this and I asked two more times if he was claiming to be the CEO of Publishers Clearing House I had to break the bad news that the Ceo of Publishers Clearing House is, in fact, Andrew Goldberg. This is the moment that he decided to hang up finally.

on oct 8th, 2018, at 11;30am, i received a phone call on my cell phone. the man introduced himself as "John anderson", from publisher's Clearing House. he stated that I had won a prize in a "second drawing". he then said: "congratulations, you have won 5 million dollars!. he gave me the winning number of "7070" he then gave me the claim #: "551001. he then gave me the pin #: 6161PX. he then told me that they had to process check through the IRS, and it wouls cost me $379.00 dollars. this man has an "Indian accent", and has continually tried to call me. he gave me his phone number: (202) 922-1154 - ext: 18765590454. I felt immediately like this was a scam, because they asked for money up front.
