They asked for address, phone and asked for her to only pay for the shipping price of $495.00. They wanted to send her pictures of her truck. We received a call on our home phone today. The caller stated they were with Publishers Clearing House. He said I won 2.5 Million. $5000 a week and a Mercedes Benz. My wife spoke with a lady named Danielle Williams. Another representative was John Garth. We were to go to Wal Mart and send the $890 . We were to get a receipt. They did not say specifically how to send the money It is a requirement by IRS. We would get a refund when they brought us the money. They would personally deliver the prize money with their personal attorneys to make sure the paperwork was correct. The caller gave me two phone numbers 1-815-491-6716 and 1-876-868-7713. He said the US Marshall would be here when the prize was delivered. I knew it was a scam. I was skeptical. I'm not that lucky. When they asked for money I knew it was a scam. They also asked if we were seniors and if my wife was over 65. That tipped me off too.

Told me I had won the Publisher's Clearinghouse grand prize. All I had to do to claim the prize, was send them $840. When I told him I couldn't afford the $840, he asked how much I could afford. Wanted me to write a bad check.

I'm 74 yrs old. I got a call yesterday from Publisher's Clearinghouse that I won 5 million dollars. He called me four times. He said his name was John Baker. He asked me a lot of questions, including my social security number and debit card number which I gave him. He asked for my credit card number because he wanted to pay it off. He asked if I was married or single. He asked if I wanted to keep it private or published. He said they would come out to my house and give me the check. He was very nice. He told me he was a family man and that he understood. He had an accent. He kept telling me he had to get paperwork done and that I would have to talk to another lady as well. I thought it was real because I see it on TV all the time. Then he wanted me to pay $1000 so they could pay their people. That's when I thought something was up. I've always subscribed to Publisher's Clearinghouse. So, I called PCH this morning and told them about the call. They said they get a lot of calls like mine. I called the bank and canceled my debit card. I'm on a fixed income and that money was like a dream come true.

A man who said was David Diamond from the publishers clearing house. I won second prize. 2.6 million dollars 5000 for life. GMC Danali and 5000 cash. But I had to open a new bank account so they could wire the $5000. I asked like I opened an account. Then they wanted to know how much I had to deposit to open the account. And my account number. I didn't give them this information. So they said do you forfiet the money. I said yes and they hang up. The number of one guy he said was Anvy Goldburg 707-406-9026 from Elk CA. Another guy said he was David Diamond showed no caller ID when he called. I live in Illinios.

I received multiple calls from this number while away from my phone. I returned the call and a person calling themselves Jessica answered and stated they were from Publishers Clearing house and I had won their top prize for the day a certified cashier's check and a new car. They asked if I was home and stated my prize was to be delivered today. They asked if I had received a brown envelope in the mail notifying me of the prize. I responded no. The person went on to state that i needed to call a separate 800 number and speak to a manger named David Malone. The number given to me to call back was 876 793 9892 and they asked me to repeat it back. They also gave me a parcel # for my prize. Which was PCH 222 7002. They then offered me congratulations and asked that I keep my business private until the details of the prize were revealed at the next call.
