I received a call from 876 331 7369 claiming I won $755,000 and a GMC truck from a Publishers Clearing House lottery ticket. The call was coming from Kingston Jamaica. I was told that I had to pay .01% of the IRS tax which was $187.14. I was then asked if I had that money in my possession or if I had to go to an ATM Machine to get it. I said ATM. He then asked How long it would take me to get there. I said 20 minutes. He then asked if I was dressed where I was able to get it now saying he will have to be on the phone with me when I fill out the form to pay. I told him this was smelling like a scam and that I didn't want to participate. He hung up on me.

A PERSON CALLED FROM 918-215-9996 SAYING HE WAS CALLING FROM pch & I HAD WON A $100 GIFT CARD. SAID I HAD TO PAY THE $1.95 fED-EX SHIPPING FEE TO RECEIVE IT AND I HAD TO PAY BY CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD. TOLD ME HE WAS THE "BOSS" OF THE DEPARTMENT HE WAS CALLING FROM. ASSURED ME THAT WOULD NOT RETAIN THE CARD ACCT NUMBER AFTER THEY USED IT TO CHARGE SHIPPING FEE. I TOLD HIM I KNEW A SCAM WHEN I HEARD IT AND THAT I NEVER GAVE MY ACCT NUMBER OUT OVER THE PHONE UNLESS I HAD CALLED HIM. THEN I HUNG UP.

My mother, who is 86 years old, received letter advising she had won $600,000 with a $12,740.30 check attached. Letter stated to call Robert Smith @ 917-521-4831 immediately for method of payment. It also stated payment must be processed and leave their office within 5 days. Check issued from First National Bank Fort Smith, AK, per ABF Logistics.

My mother called Robert Smith who told her to deposit the check and once she did to call him back to determine method of payment on the balance of the winnings. He also advised her to not tell her bank that the money was from Publishers Clearing House so to keep everything confidential.

A person called and identified themselves as a Publisher's Clearing House representative. They said that I had won $1.5 million and they wanted to send it to me today. In order to collect the prize I was told I needed to go to Kroger and get a Itunes card an put $250 on it for the taxes and fees. I called the Central OH ScamPulse.com to report it and they told me to always keep a copy of how I will be contacted from the PCH in the future so I would not be a victim of this scam. So glad I called first.

Consumer received phone call from someone pretending to be with  Publisher Clearing House saying that they have a check for her.

Received a call from Publishers Clearing House saying I won $2,000,000. I hadn't entered PCH sweepstakes, but he said I won by shopping at WalMart. (Who doesn't) All I need to do is open a new bank account. But I would have to pay the taxes first. I tried to get some logical details and the caller got irritated and said they will just give the money to charity or give it to someone else. I told him I would check it out and I would call him back. He gave me a "toll free" number of 630-206-4574. He had a thick Southeast Asian accent and his name was Craig Anderson.

Won 1.5 million, in a second place in drawing.

Received a call from Publisher's Clearing House that I have won $1 million and a new Mercedes. I was given a number to call US Delivery Service to arrange for the pick-up. I payed $10K deposit on the winnings. I also paid $3K for delivery fees. They asked me to pay $4,800 one time and 1K this morning.

Called and said I won a car and cash. Left another number to call to receive this "prize" 876 563-7556 with a name of John Chopper. Looked up the number it's from Jamaica. I didn't call.

Called and stated I applied recently. 2nd place finisher, won 2.5 million dollars. Wanted money private or on TV. don't tell anyone about this call. Go to bank and get $755.89, which was my fee. Agencies have been contacted, Federal Government have been contacted about paying taxes on this money. Publisher's Clearing will come to my house and bring a new Range Rover, will drive me to the banks to cash the check. Publisher's Clearing House will call me back on 3rd or 4th to set everything up.

+1

Ms. Kelly Williams called notifying me that I have won $1.5 million dollars and my choice of any color Mercedes Benz. I was instructed to not tell anyone. I was given a phone number to call the following day at 9:00 pm to they know that I am healthy, eating right and okay. I was asked to pay $510 for the vehicle tax. They have called me multiple times per day seeking bank information and personal information. She said they were Publisher's Clearing House and that the Mercedes will be delivered on a flat-bed truck.

A caller claimed to be from Publisher's Clearing House. He had an accent. He wanted me to go to Western Union and send money to his "IRS contact" before the prize team showed up at my door in 45 minutes. I won 1.2 million dollars and a Mercedes! I only needed an ID and a check to cover part of the taxes. When I told him I didn't have 255 dollars, he said "how much do you have?" When I questioned why his phone number was blocked, he had an answer and gave me a number it started with 775. He called me "Sweetheart." He said, "No one is trying to grab you between the legs or pull your leg." He was very persistent and had an answer for everything. I fear that an elderly or compromised person would absolutely fall for this scam. I was on the phone for 17 minutes before I hung up. He was not going to stop trying to convince me. I wish I could tell you who it was. He name checked the CEO of Publisher's Clearing house. He claimed he would give me a better deal even if it got him fired. I hope you shut these ruthless liars down.

Have won 1.5 M and a 2016 Mercades
