A man named Michael Anderson called me this morning at around 9:30 am and said that I had won 2.5 million dollars and a 2016 Mercedes Benz, that in order to get the check I had to pay the FDIC. Sounds legit since I know that the FDIC is real. Mr. Anderson stayed on the phone with me until I went to Walmart and transferred $50 to Shirley Harrison in Pine-bluff AR. He stayed one the phone with me until I got all the way home ( we had been on the phone for over an hour at this point) We got disconnected at one point and called right back. He talked to my 16 yr old son and told him about me winning. They were going to be at our house around 3:30 today. I told him before I transferred the money that it was all the money I had and that needed to know this was real because I needed that money. He said I will stay on the phone with you the whole time until they get there with the money. we got disconnected again at about 11:30 and they haven't called back or answered since then. I still have the receipt from the money transfer.

I received a call from a 'Mr. Williams' today claiming that I had won 1 million dollers in a Publisher's Clearing House sweepstake. Knowing it was a scam, I quickly hung up the phone before he could give the number to supposedly "claim my winnings". Beware of these calls! A free resource to avoid these scams is available to the public at http://info.pch.com/consumer-information/tips-a-warning-signs!!!

I received a call from Dave Sawyer saying I had won 25 Million in the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. I was asked to wire $700 from Walmart to another Walmart. It did not go through, so Walmart gave me my money back. Next I was told to go to my bank and wire $3500 to Mamie Martin Ross and if the bank questioned it to tell them that I was having work done on my house. Then I was told to mail $4000 to Peggy Fischer, 497 Main Street, Walford, SC 29385, I sent the check on 6/6/16. Today I was called again and told that they needed $20,000. I decided to call the ScamPulse.com and was told that it was a scam and to go to the bank and try to stop payment on the check.

I received a call from a gal who said I won second place with Publisher's Clearing House $800,000. I was told to speak to Attorney Hoffman. He said I had to pay $105,000 in taxes but was able to get it down to $105,000 if I paid by credit card. His number is 763-380-5000. I had my husband call and the attorney told us that we would receive the check on Wednesday. When my husband started questioning him he hung up. This is a scam.

I was contacted by Dave Sawyer and told that I won the 25 Million. I was told to go to Walmart and sent $700 to another Walmart. It did not go through so Walmart gave my money back. I was then told to wire Mamie Martin Ross $3500 from my bank. They told me that if the bank asked I should say it was for home remodeling. I then was told to mail Peggy Fischer $4000 to 497 Main Street, Walford, SC 29385. I did on June 6, 2016 and have not gotten any thing in return. I was called today and told that I would need to send $20,000 more to get the money. I called the ScamPulse.com & was told this was a scam. They recommended I contact the bank to stop payment.

The caller gave us a name of David Freeman, and said that we had won 18.5 million dollars plus a new GMC Dinali Truck from Publishers Clearing House. He agreed to meet us at Walmart parking lot to deliver the truck for a small fee of $300.00 dollars to pay for taxes and shipping and handling. He said he was in Lubbock, TX, and had the truck loaded onto a flatbed trailer in order to deliver it to us. He did not ask for our address but instead he stated that he could only deliver the money to our home. We knew this was a scam and kept him on the phone as long as possible in order to get as much info about him as possible. There was no phone number that showed up from his call to us. Please be aware that this is a SCAM. Publishers Clearing House does NOT call ahead, and there are definitely NO CHARGES INVOLVED.

My husband was called and told we won a prize and could they come by today. He told them he was not home and we had a friend staying at our house for the next couple of days. Could it be a robber?

I was skeptical as soon as he spoke, told me he was from "publishers clearing house" and I told him I was not interested and to please take my number off the list( this was my cell #) He said " You have to pay to take your number off". I laughed and said never mind and hung up. Both h my numbers are registered on "Do not call " list . I will report this to them also. ( He had an accent like he was not from or even IN this country)

I just got a call from Jamaica saying they were the Publishing Clearing House. I did not not let them go any farther, I told them they were a scam and they said no they were real. I said no this is a scam, it has been all over the news and I hung up.

John Peter with the Publishers Clearing House called and said I had won 6 million dollars and wanted to know if I would be at home for the next 1 1/2 hours. I asked why and he said "do you remember registering for a prize?" I said yes and he said "are you still living at your address in Lubbock, Texas?" I said what did I win and he said "you know what you registered for." He asked again if I still lived in Lubbock and I said no and I had already reported my new address to Publishers Clearing House and asked again what I won. He said "F.... you." and hung up.

I received a phone call that I had won 3.5 million dollars and $10,000 per week for life and a voucher for a new car. They gave me a phone number to call in New York, 516-690-6303.  I called that number and they answered the phone as Publishers Clearing House Headquarters and gave me the address of 101 Winners Circle, zip code 20765.  That person gave me a verification code and claim # and told me to send $5,875.00 to Sid Shaheen at 4325 Park Stone Court in Abilene, Texas 79606. Then Mr. Shaheen would come with Publishers Clearing House to my home to deliver the prize and bring me all of the paperwork I needed to sign and a check to endorse FG for Federal Government.  I decided to check them out before I sent any money.
