Publishers Clearing House Reports & Reviews (1660)

I received a phone call telling me they were Publisher's Clearing House and that I won $3.2 million dollars. They demanded my bank information and to pay them $350 to redeem my winnings. They gave me a 876 number and said they were from Jamaica. I did not give them any information or payment.

I received a call from Publishers Clearing House saying that I had won 5 million dollars and a Mercedes. Payments would be $7000 per month. I was to go to Western Union, pick up a sending form and send the money to: Frank Jackson, S. Ernestine Rover, N. Augusta Edgewood Dr. It was late when they called, so I told them I would do it today. I called the BBB. This morning they have called 3 times. The person I spoke to had an accent.

I and three members of my family received phone calls from "Publishers Clearing House" this morning. My father was instructed to wire money to get his check. Fortunately, I've warned them not to give out info over the phone and never wire money. I was called from 1.876.528.0579.

My mother received a letter in an envelope with no return address. It was mailed from new York. In the letter it had a Publishers Clearing House letterhead. It stated that she was a second place winner of the 100 Million Dollars Super Cash Giveaway Promotion sponsored by Readers Digest, Mega Millions and Multi-state Lottery Association. Her prize was $550.000.00. In the envelope was a check for the $7,897.00. It was to cover insurance and attorney fees. It was written from The National Bank of Indianapolis. It was from Custom Cast Stone Inc. 734 East 169th Street, Westfield, Indiana 46074. The letter included a phone number and security code. It stated that my mother was precluded from discussing this win with third parties because this increased the risks of unauthorized access to claims information. When I called this number and inquired about the prize, I was told to deposit the money in my mother's checking account and then call back. This party thought he was talking to my mother. On my phone the call went to Ontario, Canada. I immediately called the ScamPulse.com. I figure if I called back and reported the check deposited, they would request money in some manner.

Called, left message that I won 2.6 million dollars and a car and to call back. Had thick foreign accent.

I received a phone call from someone saying they were with the Publishers Clearing House and I had won a lot of money and a 2016 Mercedes and I needed to send $599 to collect my prize.

I received a call from 876-399-4487 saying that I had won $6.5 million and $5,000 per week for the rest of my life as well as a 2016 Mercedes. James Cooper wanted all kinds of information that I would not give him and said I just needed to send Publishers Clearing House $2,500 to receive my prizes.

Received a phone call stating won 2 million dollars with PCH. Had to call to register for taxes, and winnings.

Confirmation number: 413559; after registering had to call James Morgan back; had to meet someone at a CVS Pharmacy near home. Caller was not clear on what information had to be given or what else needed to be done.

Received a call from a man named David Roberson saying that he was with Publishers Clearing House and that he'd won and would be receiving $5000 per month and a 2016 Mercedes Benz. To verify was given name and number of caller's lawyer, Mary Lee 567-423-6464. Called that number and a man answered with children making noise in the background. Caller asked for Mary Lee and when she spoke with him she would not tell him where she had gone to school, and informed him that if he wanted his prize he would need to pay $3500 through Walmart.

Caller ended his call.

The number identified as being from Jamaica though the person never said so. I was told that I had won second place in a random sweepstakes and had won $200,000. The man asked for my address to deliver the check tomorrow. I received this call after 8pm central standard time.

Over the last three weeks a gentleman, Thomas Miller, has called stating that we won $5,500,000 plus a Mercedes Benz. The caller asked that we send $2000.00 from the bank and they would go to the bank to get the money. Went to Chase Bank in Zanesville that they could not issue a credit card in the amount of $2,000.00 for Thomas Miller. Thomas Miller called and asked if we had the money and when he found out we didn't have the money, Mr. Miller got really mad. Then Mr. Miller stated to go to Western Union to wire the money but we did not do it.

Person with Indian accent kept repeating "mamm" as he was telling me I wone $750 and that it was a random win by number not associated with any name and that I won because I'd paid my phone bills on time. He could not tell me which phone company it was or the name associated with my name. I kept telling him I dont believe him and I will check on line and if its legit, I will call back at the number on my caller iD. He immediately asks me if I want him to give me the hq number and tells me that HE is the representative for Publisher's Clearing house that will be in charge of my prize and he needs the correct spelling of my first and last name. Finally he let me go but said to call back soon!!

I received a call yesterday while I was on the golf course from John Day with Publishers Clearing House and he called me back an hour and a half later and told me that I had won $2,000,000 and an additional $7,000 per week for the rest of my life. He gave me a claim number and everything and told me Lyndon Davis would be calling me back from the legal department and I would need to send them $437 for the taxes.

Received toll free call from 8185314530 stating I had won 10 million dollars from publishers clearing house. "Joe Smith" then asked me to enter a package could followed by an option code followed by a pin code. At this point he then wanted me to call a second number-1-877-496-9053 where I would be transferred to "Leon" in "Indiana" who wanted me to send $999 for processing.

Received a call from James Williams claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House. He said I won "millions of dollars and a brand new Mercedes Benz convertible". He said I needed to send him $7000 to pay for the fees so they could deliver my check on Friday morning at 10:30. He said to be ready because I would be on tv.

I told him that I didn't have $7000 and he suggested I go to the bank and take out a loan so I'd be able to get my money on Friday.

I asked to speak to his supervisor and he then came back on the line and tried to disguise his voice as a supervisor, but I knew it was him. I also know this is a SCAM!
