Book purchase on Facebook turned into a subscription scam
Purchased a book on Facebook for $4.90 from Readva. I never got confirmation of the purchase and when I went to their website to question this, was informed that I had purchased a subscription also. I tried to cancel this and was told that a representative would get back to me in 48 hours, but there was a 48 hour trial period after which the charge for the subscription would already be charged. I then googled "Readva" and found out it was a scam. Contacted my bank and had the charge blocked, my card canceled, and a new card obtained.
