Was told he could help us with a loan modification program for our mortgage. After speaking with him for an extended time, the real facts came out. The program would go through Equip Legal in Las Vegas and would cost us almost a thousand dollars a month for 5 months to get our mortgage caught up. We are only 3 months behind and this program would cost us more than catching up ourselves! Do not speak to these people!

Type of a scam: Credit Repair/Debt Relief

My dad got a call saying that this man, Michael Lee, would help lower his mortgage interest since they knew about our financial situation. Since he told me about it I figured I look into it since it seemed a little sketchy. Once I went to the website and read the fine print I realized this was a scam.
