I received a discount offer for 90% off sewing machines for Joann's through Instagram because they are going out of business. However, after opening the link in a web browser, I discovered that the scam website was designed to look like Joann.com. The URL, support email, pricing, and products did not match the information found on the real Joann.com website. Additionally, the scam website claimed to be based in Australia.

They offer to only have you pay shipping for one full size sample. The cost for shipping is $5.95. When you select the flavor, it adds it to your cart. It shows the cart amount of $5.95, but when the payment processes, they take $49.95 from your account. There is no contact phone number or website to try to reach them. You can leave comments on the comments and then they do respond but then never do anything to resolve it. I think there is a legit Website with the same name but I also believe the scam one just copies the site and then sets up their scam.

Phone call claiming to be Amazon asking if I purchased a phone etc or an Amazon account. Said no was transferred to a man at FTC supposedly told me I had numerous accounts opened up in several banks in my name which was sending money to Iran Nigeria Ukraine huge sums of money. I do not have any moneys in the bank or credit lines open so I didn’t think I would be a good target cause I am dirt poor! I gave answers to a few questions like birthdate and address but it sounded very legitimate. I’m looking into it and I will follow up if I find out anything more.

The person pretended to work for Amazon and told me that my address was changed on my Amazon account and that I placed an order for $1,600 for an iPhone 16. I am expecting an order for Amazon today so when I asked her for the order I am expecting today what it is she again said the iPhone 16. This is not what I ordered so I asked her again to tell me what I ordered and when I called her on her scam she hung up the phone on me.

Offered a very low mileage Ford bronco at a very low price of $42,000. And looking at the map of the area it’s obvious this is not a high-end dealership. The google images are of a vacant rundown building. I read online that someone else reported that this business has been Closed for two years. It seems that the scammers have assumed the identity. Also, the images of the photos appeared to be stock photos in various locations certainly not at this so-called dealership. When I spoke with the “gentleman“ on the phone, he had a thick eastern European accent, perhaps Russian.

Received a message with no identifying information, saying an order was going to be processed unless I called. I called back, knowing it was probably a scam, and the woman said she was from Amazon's fraud department, and that an order of $1400 worth of Apple products were going to be shipped. I stated I didn't order this, she asked if anyone else had access to my account, I stated no. She then ran a "fraud scan" of my account, and came back saying I had several accounts under my cell phone number, and would I please verify what locations I had previously lived. I told her I wasn't comfortable giving out that information, since I didn't know if they were truly Amazon, and she said "Okay, you can hang up now". Reported this to both Amazon, and the FTC

We reached out to Ticketmaster to request a refund and the purchase new tickets and to verify who my wife was and that they had the correct ticket information they requested she send them gift cards and apple payments to a specific number. This was her first time purchasing online tickets and was not aware of the process. She sent them $3,000 in mixed Apple Cash and Apple gift cards and kept asking for more. Once I got involved and asked questions they hung up. All employees my wife spoke to (5 individuals) all had heavy Indian accents.

Never received the ice maker and noticed two odd charges on my bank statement and an overseas charge. Complete scam. Can’t track my shipment and the website is not Costco.
