Retail business imposter Reports & Reviews (162)

The scam website is attempting to look like they were hosting Bed Bath and Beyond final store closing sales.

The payment was made for a total of $50.06 and "tracking" was made available making it appear that the shipment was in transit, slowly but progressively.

After more than a month, the "tracking information" shows being delivered to a PARCEL LOCKER at the post office in our home town of Surprise, AZ.

When I go back to the website to get more detail on that, because it doesn't make any sense what a parcel locker is at the post office...it has become evident that this is a scam and they carried it out long enough to bypass the 30 day window for a credit card to be disputed. Unfortunately those 30 days have just passed for my 75 year old mother, who is out of the country visiting family in France for the past weeks and she let me know to keep an eye out because the delivery would be coming soon according to the tracking information. As I was trying to locate the delivery based on the email and tracking information she provided me, it became very apparent that this was a scam. The website looks suspicious and there are sketchy looking reviews but I couldn't find anything confirming the website was a complete scam other than the business was just opened a couple of months ago. Thank you in advance, on behalf of my mother ******* who is now out $50.06.

It was a special sale and I bought some tennis shoes. But after paying I found out it was a scam.

They claim to have a $100 in gift card in your name they will put it on your credit card but you give me your credit cards after you get your number and they ask you for several credit card numbers and then they show you that they cannot put the money on them cards

That you have to have a certain card and they say that they're calling from Walmart or Target or home Depot but you can't talk to a manager or nothing like that and they're all foreigners but in the

But in the meantime they still get your credit card numbers

brushing scam. They say they will refund my money but I am not hopeful. I ordered clothing items and tracking claimed they were delivered to my secure mailbox. On that day I did not receive the items I ordered but did receive an item I did not order asking for me to log in to another site to register it. I declined and reported the problem only to be offered a partial refund. When I said I would not accept partial they offered a full refund. I will report to my cc company and ask them to settle it.

I saw an add on Facebook marketplace for majorly discounted furniture. Clicked on the link, and it took me to a website with a bed bath and beyond logo. I went through with the purchase and was promised delivery of a couch. I received a confirmation email from [email protected]

Scam used Lululemon name as there store for clearance items

There was supposedly a liquidation sale for Bed Bath and Beyond on Facebook so I ordered items. I received a confirmation email saying from Bed Bath and Beyond, and just received an email to say items sent with link to track it. I didn’t press link, the email was suspicious

I’m going to contact my credit card company

Phone call from 301-690-1585. Caller background noise sounded like it was some kind of call center. They claimed to be associated with Amazon and that someone had opened an Amazon account in my name (they had my name and phone number) and charged over $1,000 for products in the upper New York area, and asked me to verify if that was me or not. I said it was not me. This sounded real fishy. He continued to push saying that it could be a case of stolen identity. I wanted to know what they wanted from me but didn't get that far. My wife was also listening to this conversation and made a comment "I'm not buying it" at which time the caller hung up. I blocked that number.

This was a company on Facebook. Facebook should be responsible

Ad on Facebook showing it was a close out of Bed Bath and Beyond warehouse, Once purchased it showed items would be delivered. After wondering if it was legit went and looked at it further and found it was a scam site known for stealing CC info.

Ad on Instagram Marc Jacob bags sale for Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom rack. Buy two or more bags you get free shipping. When you first enter your credit card information, the card is declined. When re-entered the credit card goes through. Received email from top luxy bag sale Neiman Marcus . Receipt from Nordstrom rack. Emailed customer service on receipt no response then received a silver ring in the mail.

I have attached the email that was sent to me. There is nothing in this regarding the charge of $68.89. This is a SCAM!! I have called the 3rd party customer service department in the Philippines and Michael refused to give me any information about the company, and when I asked too many questions, he hung up. I asked what I got for the $68.89 and he repeatedly said I would receive a voucher for $125. The other attached information shows what I received in my SPAM folder and the survey was timed!!! He also asked if I wanted to cancel the subscription?? What subscription?? Again, he would not answer any of these questions.

I order a car seat dor my baby and i receive the order

Confirmation on 29 of June and so far nothing also it says that the product was deliver in Texas i dont have an idea of what address is not mine and i have place complain 2 times

The company used Facebook and Instagram to advertise as Bed Bath And beyond and having a going out of business sale. I ordered several items totaling $53.12. They withdrew $54.18. I took a screenshot of the order. It said they were going to confirm the order by sending confirmation to my e-mail which I did not receive. Your system wont allow me to put the amount lost or the address of the company. The information showing on my account by this company is Clissal Juhmat House 160 London London GBGB

It appeared on social media; the website looks totally real; offering deals because the store is going out of business. Telling you to hurry and buy, stick is getting low. They got me with the water slide/pool for kids

This company popped up with an advertisement on Facebook for BloomChic. BloomChic is a legitimate company that I have ordered from in the past. They were having what they called a flash sale with deep discounts. I placed an order believing I was using my actual BloomChic account and was even sent an order confirmation email. However the company name on the confirmation email and the charge on my credit card are both from a fictitious company called Sweetbabymo- BloomChic. I looked it up on the internet and it is a scam website.

They pretended to be the Hey Dude shoe company offering a fourth of July day sale

There was an ad posted in Facebook referencing Bed Bath & Beyond going out of business and offering huge discounts on an array of items that BB&B would normally sell at amazingly reduced prices. When I clicked on the ad it took me to a site that included the actual BB&B logo and a picture of a store front in CA covered by huge yellow posters advertising going out of business sale. The add appeared to be legitimately from Bed Bath & Beyond. What I saw was an opportunity to get some great deals at reduced prices. I have learned that BB&B was hacked and that their logo was stolen and used in this scam. I placed 5 separate orders, with some items intended for other family members in different locations. I received confirmation emails that seemed to come from Bed Bath & Beyond with a summary of each order. Normally a bogus email will have additional letters, numbers or other characters, but this one did not. It was only when I realized that the URL was not from Bed Bath & Beyond that I wondered if this was a scam. I searched online for a BB&B scam and confirmed that it was indeed a scam. I immediately cancelled my debit card, called that bank to have as many of the charges made to my bank account reversed and changed the password for my bank. The bank was able to reverse 2 of the charges but not the other 3. The bank did file a claim to see if the additional charges could be reversed.

Ad on Instagram pretending to be the close out sale for Bed Bath & Beyond. Items extremely cheap but no confirmation email sent or items received since purchase.

- Sun City, AZ, USA

An ad posted on Facebook from Prudencei.shop selling Bed Bath and Beyond items due to store closure. I purchased 12 items for $78.51 with one of my credit cards. The site asked for my credit card info, address, phone number and email address. I discovered it was a scam site on July 3 from malwaretips.com. I contacted my credit card company who closed the card.
