Placed the order on a website identified as Wayfair. (Web site no longer exists) Received a tracking number several days later. About 3 weeks later it showed as "Successfully delivered." Items were never received, emails return as undeliverable.

I was scrolling on Instagram and came across an ad from pink blush for a sale. I clicked on the Instagram ad and it brought me to a website. I added items to my cart and checked out. When I checked my email for confirmation, it was from “Habilarian.” I never received my order after complaining. They offered a partial refund that I never received.

This scam had another reputable companies website “Wayfair” and was listed an over stock sale, I did think the prices were low so I looked online to see if Wayfair had such sales, which they do. I offered something, received and email confirming the order. It ALL looked like it came from the original WAYFAIRS website. It was only when I looked at my credit card statement did I see a different name on the “purchase receipt” there is no address or phone number listed. I believe the company is located in China. Facebook SHOULD make sure they are advertising Legitimate businesses

I had placed an order with Big Lots advertised as a bankruptcy closing sale. I checked what I thought was thoroughly online googling scams with this info. I also looked for secure site endorsement. I placed an order, I checked daily and they posted the steps of my order until it was handed off to logistics/shipping company ( fedx) It never went past that step. I tried to contact someone all contact info is fake.

32° is a well known clothing company and advertises on Facebook. I have ordered and received great clothing from them, starting in 2015 when they sold through Macy’s. I ordered for a 3rd time on Facebook, and noticed the platform used was “Lightchime” - thought I had just missed that before when ordering. They wouldn’t take my Amex which I thought was odd. I ended up using my Chase debit, which had Visa attached - thinking it would process as a credit card. However, because I manually input my information, the bank would not stop the pending charge, and I have to wait now til the charge posts to my account before they will help me, by entering it as a dispute. In the meantime, I cancelled my card. I have always been careful and never been scammed before - this is a first for me.

The website looked like bath and bodywork’s. They were offering 75% off many items. Candles were 3.95, wallflowers were 3.99 for two. They sent a tracking manifest. Whenever I had a question they emailed right back. After a month of waiting for products I asked for refund. Was told they wanted to continue to look for my parcel. At that point I knew I was scammed. Famous last words, if it seems to good to be true go with your instinct. They are all over Facebook.

I didn't answer a call from an unknown caller. The voice mail had music playing, and then a computerized message came on and said, "This call is to authorize the payment of $1499 for the recent order of Apple MacBook Pro on your Amazon account. If you do not authorize this payment, please press one to speak to our customer support representative."

A bait and switch scam, posing as Amazon.com, selling unwanted merchandise. You pay 29.00 plus tax . Instead of getting what was promised, I received a cheap small gift, not worth 5.00

Anthropology sale ad on Facebook. I clicked on site and ordered several items that totalled $44.19 on December 29, 2024

It was a huge savings from original prices and I was skeptical. After I made the purchase, I did a search online and discovered that it was reported as a scam.

I was contacted by Fieldloom that my items were bring shipped but I never received them. I emailed Fieldloom and they claim the items were delivered. Other victims of scam website report similar experiences.

I saw an ad on social media for Neiman Marcus Last Call discounted prices on brand name purses. Neiman Marcus is reputable company.. So I took a chance to buy it. I purchased a Louie Vuitton. Thinking I can return it.( I realize now they are using Neiman Marcus brand name) Wrong, it starts with a process. Which they give you a time frame to send you the image of the purse order and you have 24 hours before they will ship it out to you. I saw the image of the purse and I knew it was fake and replica is not even good. The stitch pattern design of Louie Vuitton at the top of by the seam the prints are cut off before the sew line. So you can noticed it right away. I sent an email right away! Said no I do not want it. I get an email stating okay, they will refund you. Then I get a second email and they said oh no they can’t because the purse already sent to the courier. I just thought okay I’ll send it back. I finally received it, the package came from some random person from USA. And the website said it will come in a box. False advertisement! It did not came in box. It came in a plastic bag and it was flat.. So I email back complaining and ask them to provide me an address so I can return it and they keep trying to get me to keep it, offering a discount. 6 emails later and two different email addresses they have. They provided me an address which is in Singapore!? I’m in the USA. It cost more to ship back to them. I ask why I have to ship back there? They said that’s the corporate office. I was no way! I got my package from some lady in USA. I have proof from the mailing label. But they just ignore my question asking why it was from New Jersey. Now Im stuck with a fake Louie Vuitton. This company should be shut down. They lie about be being authentic. They are using a reputable company name to get people to order from them. Their website is misleading. Do not go on www.nemarcus.com. Fake and False advertisement..
