REFUND FROM SCOTIA INVESTMENT
They scammed me off $8,000.
My saving grace was when I found someone on here who was also scammed by them,he suggested I file a complaint to a crypto investigating firm who helped him get back his money at first I was sceptical but now I'm glad I did oblige because as of now they've been able to get back all my money using the information I provided.
If you're in need of their help a report can be filled to them by scanning the Q.R provided.

After weeks of asking questions and researching I decided to make the minimum investment of $5000. The account did make profits. Then, he said a big trade was coming and that I should merge accounts with another investor so we can take part in the trade. That investor and I didn't know each other in person but talked via email and messaging quite a bit. We figured we could pull our money together and then withdraw the profits after the trade. I took a loan out to cover the rest of the trade. After the trade went through, I attempted to withdraw the profits to cover the loan. At that time "support" told me that I needed to put in a commission. I told them this was never told to me and they should be able to take the 15% off the top of the amount I was withdrawing. I had several emails back and forth and many talks with Christopher that the process can't take place until I paid the commission.
I ended up paying the commission through Coinbase, but was then told I couldn't receive my withdrawal because their process had changed. I needed to withdraw the entire account or nothing. I told them I won't withdrawal and to send me my 15% commission back. It has been over a month and I still have not received any withdrawal or refund.
On January 8, the website scotiainvestment.org disappeared. There is now a new website that looks the exact same, scotiainvestment.net is up, but it says no account credentials exist and I cannot log in.There have been several people contacting me on Facebook saying the same thing is happening to them and it seems to be only affecting people who are trying to withdraw funds.
