I bought two sweaters off an ad on Instagram.

It was a holiday sale so each sweater was $10.

They didn't give total until after I paid and got an email with the amount.

The charged me a subscription of $42 a month when ordering.

So I sent an email to cancel and how I thought this company was a fraud.

They say they are local business the whole website is legit looking. Even says it ships out of Los Angeles.

I got international tracking.

When looked up shipping it first states 7-10 businesses days but if you read on it will keep expanding the dates the longer you don't get your item.

I think I read down to 30-35 business days.

In other words, you're not getting your package.

I reached out in an email twice to this company with no response.

Now I'm getting emails from Tarotishop/theflexteam saying they are taking more money out of my account as the monthly fee.

I still don't know what exactly I'm subscribed to, or how to even cancel.

When I tried to cancel they won't respond or want my card number. This is a nightmare. They do have a Facebook but delete everyone's comments.

It came out to $9.99 +$19.99 x2

I had booked my Flight from Los Angeles (LAX) to New Delhi (DEL) India by FINAIR via Helsinki 4 months ahead of my travel. Due to unexplained reason from Airline FINAIR cancelled my flight and asked to get rescheduled at different date. I got an e-mail in this regard on Nov 15th 2024, so when I checked my e-mail on evening of Nov 16th 2024 so I tried calling FINAIR, but there was no response at it was 11PM (PST).

so I tried to get FINAIR 24/7 Customer support number by searching in google. When I searched for FIRAIR customer support on google, so I found the phone Numbers: 888-616-8120 and 301-691-5486. These numbers are marked in the name of www.airtravelpad.com located at Rockville, MD (Maryland), USA. I called the 301-691-5486 form my cell number and then call was routed to outside USA. Person who lifted the phone conveyed me that he is from Customer Desk support from FIRAIR and he would help me in rescheduling my flight from LAX to New Delhi (vin Helsinki, Finland). I believed him and he asked my Flight booking reference number for FINAIR. He told me that he will help me to reschedule my flight. but he need to cancel my present booking. So he took asked my for my credit card detail and since he got my personal detail from my existing booking, so he sent me an e-mail that I will be charged USD 4207.28 to reschedule the flight for the travel date different than my present booked travel date of Nov 21st 2024. so once I responded to him over an e-mail, he charged me in my credit card USD 4207.28 and I never received my new Flight booking confirmation from him for FINAIR. Later in the November 17th 8AM I called to FIRAIR, Los Angeles by using FINAIR website and they told me that we do not have any customer support partner like www.airtravelpad.

Right now, transaction of USD 4207.28 is in pending state and I am working with my credit card company on this. Please do not pick up any call from Phone number: 888-616-8120 and 301-691-5486. When I received the e-mail then it was listed as

[email protected] (www.airtravelpad.com).

This website sells poor quality products promising a money back guarantee. We received a damaged product that is obviously a cheap knock off and they will not provide a refund.

Mooyius is a fake clothing store online that appeared in my Facebook ads. I have bought clothes off Facebook ads before with no problems. Mooyius is the first company to never send the dress, keep charging me installment payments via Paypal and emails with excuses as to why it has not arrived. Today Olivia Rodriguez from "[email protected]" emailed that my dress was out of stalk, but the email was signed by a person named "Pine." Wish I saw other online forums outing Mooyius as a scam- had to cancel my bank card.

Cartels are using Instagram as a way to propel their personal agendas and to plot terror events against the United States. Instagram the app is not safe for United States citizens at this point. 1) Many Mexican and undocumented immigrants are getting plastic surgery to be look a-likes. This allows them to assume IG profiles of deceased or other drug dealer accounts. All of a sudden this particular individual is now living in the US under this fake identity. 2) Many of my IG friends are now Mexican. They post Mexican, skull or joker content. They invite me to events that I might be interested in, in hopes of hurting my physical body to either steal, kill and assume personal identity. America is silently under attack. I am not sure when someone messages me who is messaging? For example, I had a black DJ whom I am close friends with message me on IG with Mexican content in Spanish. Why? Weird. US citizens are being harassed and no one is shutting this down. 3) Many celebrity profiles have been hijacked by big cartel dealers and a variety of look a-likes are planning fake concerts, cartel promotional partnerships, fake events etc. For example, Drake had a concert in Los Angeles with a Mexican Drake. This event toured around the US taking US citizens money. Look at Drake's IG, why is he Latino? We might assume this is his freedom of speech. Sure. But are we positive that the official Drake team wants this? Are celebrities being hijacked as well? Whether Drake is involved or not, they are planning events, art shows, concerts that puts Americans lives, their data etc at risk.

High end vehicle, male looked Arabian or from Middle-East, maybe Romanian. Wife and children in car and everyone was wearing nice jewelry. He said he had his wallet stolen and needed gas, after filling his tank he requested more money for a hotel and in return handed me gold jewelry. The jewelry turned out to be fake, as I later learned is a common scam around here. I am not from here, and in my small town this is very foreign to me.

It was November 8th, 2024 at approximately 6pm.

The product said men's leather clog shoes. Buy 2 get 1 free. When they arrived they are plastic and some kind of cheap cloth. They look terrible and are very cheap and poor quality. I can not find information on the package to contact them for a refund. I would like to return and get my money back. These were bought for gifts and they are not worthy of a gift due to the poor quality.

Company advertises as a U.S. based company that sells products made in the U.S.

The products are labeled as old-fashioned, teeth mineralizing “gum”.

The product is in no way shape or form “gum” and is manufactured and shipped from China. The company falsely uses the address 261 11th Avenue, New York, NY 10001. However, with a simple search, this building is an old warehouse and not a manufacturing nor headquarters.

I do not care about getting my money back, but I would like this scam shut down so that unethical and exploitative practices like this are eradicated.

I was under the impression I was buying a product with Wayfair. They used the company logo, products and had similar page setup. I was very excited about the deal and should've known it was "too good to be true" as it was a great deal on an item. I never received a receipt of purchase with my email but received a charge from a different company name. I called the actual Wayfair site after comparing the two websites and was able to confirm they did not receive a purchase from me on that day with that item. I immediately called my banking company to inform them and make a claim. I also cancelled and replaced my card. I would suggest the same to anyone who may have fallen prey to this scam.

That i purchased them knowing where they came from ( I did, but he told me they are real and I can trust him) so he can not give me a refund and because its tobacco.

(I purchased Tracfone locked phones via Amazon. I am giving a summary below, with additional information as to what happened. I filed a PA Attorney General Consumer Complaint against Tracfone - as I was on the SafeLink/Tracfone network while all this occurred. I had been using Tracfone since the mid-2000's at least, and was on the SafeLink program for low income people since it came out in the early/mid-2010's. This had gotten so progressively bad as apparently the hackers-stalkers were in the Tracfone network, which is how they went from phone to phone to phone - as I had been in touch with the Nokia company as well with regards to this - and that is what they had told me. I switched to Twigby and got a plan with no internet - so only talk/text for the flip phone. I've made numerous reports to the FBI Cyber Crime center, as well as a report to the Federal Trade Commission. These 'Tracfone locked phones' were sealed in Tracfone's packaging and being sold through Amazon, therefore I'm listing Amazon, but Tracfone also needs to be listed as well.)

*In late summer/early fall, I had to change my phone number due to an incident unrelated to this. The new phone number was used for the Twitter account. After the incident described below, I changed it again. That phone number was used/recycled way too much and I constantly had to fill out at least 7-10 Do Not Call forms per day and after one month of that nonsense, I had it changed again to what is my current number.

*December 2021:

Started Blogger (Google) Blog 'Healing Through History'

*May 2022:

I chose to put the blog's link in my Amazon Community Profile.

Issues with Amazon acct. began at this point. I was using my laptop (also bought during the Pandemic) and the Samsung phone (as it had WIFI hotspot - which I needed for any non-phone internet access - I live in a small town). I would add info. into this profile, only to have it suddenly remove and a 'cloned' email from Amazon sent to me saying that the content was against Community Guidelines. Evidently, this part of my Amazon acct. was 'screenshot' and 'cloned' with coding to make it realistically interactive. Hence the stalking that subsequently happened with my blog at the time I did this. The stalking was to do the same thing to it (the 'screenshot-cloning').

*Summer 2022:

Ongoing issues with regards to trying to resolve what's going on with my Amazon acct. Many 'back and forth' calls to Amazon about this.

Attempted hack into my Amazon acct. used to shop with (it's separate from the Community acct.). Reset my stuff after having woken up to an email sent over-night by Amazon about it. I called Amazon to verify if it was true, and it was - it was then I did the reset and they walked me through the process.

I continue observing questionable visitor hits to my blog noticing that every time I change the design, the suspicious hits recur. Realizing that it's not a 'bot'/'web crawler', but someone in the US using a Mac computer, I screenshot it and 'call it out' in a blog post. Subsequently, my (pre-Musk) Twitter acct. is also targeted and hacked. Changing passwords doesn't resolve the issue, and so I close it 2 weeks, approximately, before Musk bought Twitter. I also closed the blog around this time.

*Late Fall/Winter 2022:

I noticed on my Samsung that my Google security credentials were turned off. I knew I didn't do this. This is the part of the phone that's the Google account and where there's a 'green shield', that lets you know it's secure. The Google account I had which was [email protected], I had for a long time (5-6 years, maybe more, by the time I had to stop using all Google accessories - like Gmail, Blogger, etc.) I tried to just switch to using a whole new Google account, but that didn't resolve the issue either. I noticed over time that all Google accessories were severely targeted, hence my switch to Microsoft Outlook/Hotmail.

I continued to have ongoing issues - for example, my etsy account, was targeted and 'cloned'. What appeared in my curated etsy 'favorites' lists on the app was different from what I found when I logged into the website. The website showed the 'true' lists. This same thing happened with my eBay account as well. The apps were 'cloned' and showed differently than the website - eventually, I think nearly all my apps were cloned in some way. Therefore, I couldn't trust Google Play at all due to the 'cloned apps'.

I believe I did a factory reset on the Samsung phone, to no apparent avail. At this time I knew nothing of the Alps spyware/phone components.

*January 2023:

I got a Nokia C100 from Amazon late in the prior year, due to wanting more GB, but didn't start to use it until January. I joined a forum for those of us who have ME/CFS and tried to interact and observe. One thing of note with the Nokia - it charged very, very, very slow. I contacted Amazon about this and was refunded the cost of the phone. I spoke with my tech cousin about it and he mentioned that some phones have 'adaptive charging'. I responded that this one has 'maladaptive' charging. For about a month thing seemed to be 'quiet', but then activity that was suspect began all over again. I left the forum in April due to the ongoing stress of this stalking/harassment, the inability to have any energy left after doing what I needed to do in real life, and the fact that I couldn't put up with 'forum trauma drama' on top of it all.

Over the course of the year, I noticed my phone needing and doing updates with unusual frequency. Also, I had a strong feeling, ever since all of this started, that I had stalkers following me. Hence, why I resorted to using adult content to see if I could get a 'direct reaction' (such as the comment left by the YouTube acct./user @just_delightful in the Ocean Liner Designs video on U-Boats Found, as nothing was indicating anything as such.

During the entirety of the year and into early 2024, the suspicious activity seemed to intensify and no matter what I did, nothing seemed to resolve it. None of the usual tech. 'repair' techniques, like uninstall and reinstall, etc. The frequent updating kept going on as well. It was a major hassle and headache dealing with this nonsense when I couldn't figure out a way to resolve it. I was getting very frustrated because I knew something wasn't right but couldn't pinpoint it.

*2024:

In Feb., I believe it was, I was using my phone and noticed that someone installed Yahoo! ringtones. Immediately, I decided on a factory reset since I didn't use Yahoo! at all. It was after I did that and then looked at my phone's information, that I found the 'Custom Build Alps...' under the Build Number. Thus began my research and detective work since I don't do custom builds.

In March I got a Motorola Moto, direct from Tracfone, to replace the Nokia C100 after talking with a rep. via chat at the library's computers. When I got that phone, I used my neighbor's phone to call Safelink to set it up. I felt a bit of a relief like I could move on with my life, but that wasn't to be. I had only opened Chrome on it, and at 8pm (the same day I got the phone), I was going through the functions and someone turned/toggled on WIFI. I turned it off and they turned it back on. I turned it off again, mortified and angry at this point. I then tried to call Safelink and the 'green Call button' was deactivated (wouldn't work). I tried to text my mom, and as soon as I started to type the text, they shut the phone off. I refused to use the phone beyond attempting to call and text at that point. I hadn't even set up a Google acct. for the app updates. I again notified Tracfone via chat at the library's computers about what happened. They said they wouldn't replace it, so I'm (thinking) 'Fine.' So, I asked for the most low tech phone I could get - the Nokia 2760 flip phone was what I was referred to. So that's what I got. By then, the Samsung and Nokia C100 had been returned back to CEVA/Tracfone in Indiana with an approx. 10 pg handwritten report on what happened.

In April, I got the flip phone and sent back the Motorola Moto to CEVA as well, along with an approx. 5 pg handwritten report. By doing this, I removed the Android OS from the equation, along with Google (Google Play Store). I figured I could get my life back at this point. I had in the meantime switched all of my billing back to snail mail, notified the bank, had hospital appts. sent via snail mail. I essentially retrograded my life to how I lived 10-20 years ago.

By late April/early May, I decided to see if I would be ok to use the phone's internet browser - not Google. I now had a very simplified phone which helped me with the cognitive issues with my ME/CFS - so if something went awry, it would be easier for me to diagnose. I did basic searches, nothing explicit at all, none since February. I read my usual sites: The Bulwark, Daily Kos, local newspaper (Press Enterprise) for the headlines. I did not open Google or YouTube on the phone at all.

The only initial suspect thing I noticed was a sudden overnight battery drain from 100% to 15%. I noticed this before using the internet app. from what I can recall. So I contacted Safelink and got tips on how to reduce the battery drain. I applied those and was ok.

Over the next few months, things were seemingly ok.

*July:

29th - At 09:06, I go to make the call to PPL electric company to recertify my low income plan OnTrack. I call the 1-800-342-5775 and there's no ringing, but a rather sort of crackling sound and then a seemingly younger aged male saying something to which I can only make out part of which was, "...just how good a real man can make you feel." At first, because I just got up not much earlier and was drinking my coffee, it took me a minute to comprehend what on earth just occurred. Once I realized what did happen, I got cleaned up, and went to the library and tried to inform all parties involved. While there, I attempted to recertify online, and when that didn't work, I tried to call again, and got through this time. The rep. said that they were/are having trouble with their system. It wasn't until later in the afternoon that I checked the call log on my phone and noticed the three 7's in between the two 5's. I didn't recall hitting the 7 a third time, but even if I did, that shouldn't have happened.

That evening, I did a factory reset on the phone and tested texting and calling with my mom's phone. It was at this point after doing some mental calculating that - due to opening the internet on the Motorola Moto and the flip phone, that's what made the phones vulnerable, alps or no alps. I then also tried to figure out just what was going on in the background by using bits and pieces of information gleaned from over the years from observing, to paint a picture. This is how I realized it (whatever was going on) was like Tor.

___

I believe I have an idea as to what is going on here. I think the Alps spyware stuff created a 'Tor-like' network using peoples phones and so any time I open the internet on any phone I have, it opens me up to others accessing it like the Tor* network did with PCs and Laptops.

The phone acts/takes the place of a PC/Laptop, the spyware takes the place of Tor. Somehow it gets into the network, and this is how every time I open the internet on my phone, even if not an Android, the stuff gets in and I wind up with all types having access to my phone (which of course would include said creep). Upon realizing this, I was able to step back and depersonalize the creep's attack, because if he's done that to me, he's done that to others and who knows in what way.

So even if I look up in the browser, for example, nudes (vintage nudes, artistic nudes, nude sculptures, nude photography, etc.) all these people will see (somehow) what I look up. This also helps explain the odd behavior I observed with YouTube and the numbers I was seeing. It helped explain the dramatic rise in counts with both subscribers and views. I noticed this especially with The Bulwark (both with their website and their YouTube channel). The same can be said for the Ocean Liner Designs channel, and therefore explains that odd comment regarding LGBTQ, on a video regarding UBoats. This particular activity also showed up on the MeidasTouch YouTube channel when I was watching a live feed video and would do a refresh during a sponsor break. The number of viewers would jump up and down dramatically during each subsequent refresh that I did - and I did them as quickly as I could - one right after the other.

This 'Tor-like' program somehow 'jumps' from the network into the phone when one opens up the internet on their phone. This helps explain what happened with the Motorola Moto that was sent to me directly from Tracfone, and, my flip phone. It's also concurrent with what Nokia said that, if they are in the network, they can go from phone to phone to phone...which appears to be the case here.

So this is essentially, and I could be entirely wrong about all this, but a sort of 'dark web' created by using peoples phones (unwillingly obviously), spreading through the network, and perhaps affecting others phones that were also androids, but didn't have the Alps component/s, as well as also affecting the non-android phones such as my flip phone. Therefore creepy boy is not only most likely stalking and harassing me, but other as well, just because he can (and believes he can get away with it).

This may, or may not, be a golden opportunity for law enforcement if one thinks about it, and can seize upon it in some way. It would be nice to turn this negative experience into some positive.

It makes sense though, to use spyware, to create a 'dark web' - because we know China is a surveillance state.

*I tried out Tor back in the early 2010s, just out of curiosity to see what this was all about. I don't know the coding behind it, but I was just going for the beginner's understanding of how it operated. I just checked it out for a brief period to see how it functioned, but then got rid of it as I had no use for it.

For those who have never heard of Tor:

Tor (network) - Wikipedia

Tor[6] is a free overlay network for enabling anonymous communication. Built on free and open-source software and more than seven thousand volunteer-operated relays worldwide, users can have their Internet traffic routed via a random path through the network.[7][8]

Using Tor makes it more difficult to trace a user's Internet activity by preventing any single point on the Internet (other than the user's device) from being able to view both where traffic originated from and where it is ultimately going to at the same time.[9] This conceals a user's location and usage from anyone performing network surveillance or traffic analysis from any such point, protecting the user's freedom and ability to communicate confidentially.[10]

As I said, I could be wrong, but this is the only thing that makes complete sense to me based on my experiences at this point.

Regarding Wi-Fi

The phone I had prior to the Samsung J7 Crown, which was bought in 2020, had no Wi-fi (it too was a Samsung), and I had no issues - until I got the phone with the Wi-fi hotspot, which was the J7.

I had a security PW/password for my Wi-fi hotspot with that phone.

I recall when I got the Motorola Moto from Tracfone, one of the first things, it seemed like they went after, was the Wi-fi (as I mentioned before with them turning it on and I turning it off).

About the J7

I don't recall having looked for the Alps build stuff because I didn't know about it at the time when I did a factory reset on it (which I believe I had done).

If it was an Alps phone, that would have given them near instantaneous - if not instantaneous - access to my hotspot PW, and Wi-fi connections to the network. This would, in a way perhaps, help explain why when my Twitter acct. was hacked, that changing the password didn't work to stop them, and they continued to do the damage from there.

I live in a small town of about 4,600 and reception here is like baby swiss cheese, which is why I opted for a hotspot phone, after my mom and I tried a USB type wifi hotspot (it may have been from Straight Talk) and that not even working well in spite of my being next to a window.

Undoubtably, all the PW's I attempted to use on the Twitter acct. were then tested on my Amazon acct. - hence the attempted hack and Amazon's intervention. I never use the same PW twice for this reason.

When my Twitter acct. was hacked, I had accts. I didn't follow added onto my follows - it was mostly tech. stuff, space tech, bitcoin, one anime type thing, and a very tasteful acct. that shared photos of beautiful women (who were way too young for me - they appeared to be in their 20's). I had no 'hate' stuff added - no anti-LGBT+, no racist stuff, etc. It was just rather 'normal Gen. Z' type stuff. Yet even after attempting to put on 2 step verification, that didn't stop it either, so I closed it.

I did call the local police, but there's really not much they could do about it (it being cyber stalking and harassment).

The old Twitter acct. I had was last named AtlantikGhost (or AtlanticGhost). I didn't have many followers, and didn't follow much - mostly German maritime stuff, Sal Mercogliano - What's Going on With Shipping (he covers supply chain stuff on the maritime side), WWI and II U-Boat stuff, some spiritual/wellness, and the ME/CFS community. I also tried to follow state and local - like the governor, reps, news and the like. I also followed The Bulwark. So, in sum, Twitter was like an info. 'aggregator' to me where I could have a 'one stop' for everything I wanted to keep up with.

Regarding YouTube

Even having made my account private didn't resolve the issue where it concerned the app.

I still keep getting some installation error for something on my phone, but since I cannot check (I have no means to), I don't know what it is regarding.

I just want it to be understood regarding my 'disadvantage' where it concerns internet access and checking my email as: 1) Library isn't open on Sunday, 2) It has its own hours - so I have no 24 hr access to the internet - period, nevermind my email, and 3) It entails me walking all the way to the other end of town which I'm not going to do on a frequent basis, in spite of living in a small town.

The main reason why I'm limiting myself to the town's computers is because it will cut down the confusion on where I was last if something 'funny' happens again. I won't use (sign in) on my mom's phone or computer (unless it's some sort of extreme emergency where I need to and have no alternative). I'm not trying to 'punish' myself - I'm just trying to bring this chaos under control in the ways I know how to.

- Chula Vista, CA, USA • Oct 16, 2024

I am trying to sell something on offer up and Craigs list. I should not have used my contact number in the description. That opened the door for them to text me. I was contacted by text about what I was selling and without thinking I responded. I was being contacted by a group of them or one person pretending to be a bunch of different people with different numbers. All were interested in my product and willing to pay asking price. One of them got my home address because he wanted to come check out what I was selling. One got my name because I was in communication with him about what I was selling. He got my name because I started asking for their names because keeping track of who I was texting was difficult and I was being bombarded by 5 different people who were interested in what I was selling. They targeted me in the morning after I was just waking up. One was coming from about 2 hours away and didn't want to drive a long distance without knowing that the product I was selling was legit. clean title, no accidents etc. I gave him car fax as a check reference to prove my product. He said he got burned by car fax before and wanted any other one. after a while they suggested a few that might work but either way they had flooded a bunch of fake websites and could have chosen from any of them. I chose another one choices range in price depending on how fast and how detailed they are. But all are fake. They send you a fake result but to receive your fake result you have to share your name and email. So they now have my full name, address, and email and I have used my credit card to pay for a fake report that they sent me. I have to open up the fake result to sent to the fake buyer so they might have a back door bug to enter my computer. Not sure. I cancelled my credit card and I now will be changing my email for all the reoccurring charges that I get so they can't either pretend to be be or pretend to be a provider of mine.

Dear Sirs, I’m contacting you to inform you that the Kiosk PERFUMILLION in the Westfield Mall in Culver City is sell Fakes or Knock-off product and representing them as the real thing. On Friday I purchased a bottle of Tom Ford Ombre’ Leather from the lady at this store, for my wife’s birthday. Saturday, when I gave it to her she told me it was not the perfume that she knows. She’s been using this sent for 4 years. So on Saturday I went to return it and no one was there. I went upstairs to LA Perfume and ask to see there Product. What they showed me was the real thing. It had the right sent as well as a different bottle design and slightly different box design. Today when I went back to Perfumillion And explained what had happened, rather than exchanging the product with an appology or even take a close look of the comparison. She immediatly accused me of switching the bottles and that the store upstairs had sold me the Knock-off that I was attempting to return. The store up stiars has also reported them for questionable business practices.

Customer came in with a fake coinstar for $602.52. The coinstar unfortunately was cashed and the scammer left the building with about over 588$ and groceries so technically we lost the whole $602.52. The coinstar that was given was printed on real coinstar paper, had all the security features including the scratch on the back and the wavy perforated lines to the right of the voucher, had the correct transaction number, store number and location, as well as time & date. This was one of the realest fakes we’ve ever seen. Had the security measures and all. TODAY, another scammer came in with a fake coinstar. This time the customer was denied considering the fraud we witnessed last night. Her coinstar was also counterfeit and the amount of it was $476.46. The coinstar that was brought in today was the exact same as the other fake that was brought in last night

This company used an ad for Peter Thomas Roth Eye Firming Cream. It appeared that I was clicking on a link to buy that product. Instead it was a completely different company. The brand I received was Hoygi NOT the Peter Thomas Roth brand. The email address for the scam company is [email protected].
