Got this email from the guy pretending to sell his car on local Craigslist.
But now I see the same email verbatim that someone else has posted. What are the odds that two totally different people will write the same email.

A quick google search on the pictures of their "so called" sales team gives the game away completely.

Be careful about these people, did you notice how 10 reviews are written in the same day? They do this to ensure people don't see the real reviews. They will post cars for low prices on Craigslist, Cars.com, etc and then email you saying they are a pilot who now lives in Montreal, Canada or just Canada, then they will day their broker Southeastautosmotors has their car and have the full power of attorney. If you pay the price listed, you will not receive the car because this scamming company does not have a real address or real cars. They use fake carfax's of other vehicle's to scam people into thinking they are actually getting a car. Please do not use them, they will only steal your money. The BBB and FBI are already looking into this scam company since they are changed their names, address's and information multiple times. Beware

It is the same scam under a million names, so none of the names here even matter, this is a waste of time, we should all just beware all the time, never leave our guard down, talking about it just makes it more painful and solves absolutely nothing, everyone should learn from their mistakes and correct themselves as to never fall for the same [censored] again, as per letting new people know about this beforehand... that is an even bigger waste of time and energy, we all came here after we got robbed, not before, so all of this is just wasted energy, nothing more, we look like sore losers who cant move on with their lives.

Not to be confused with Shift Auto dealership that sells on the West coast. They appear legit. Photos from their dealership often appear in postings for these guys.

Nothing but a Scam, found a car on Cars.com and seller contacted me. Said he was in Canada and car was at SE Motors Brokers. Communicated via email and once paper work was done by phone. The day the car was suppose to show up...nothing. Been trying to call every since. Currently in contact with Local Law enforcement and FBI.

We were looking at a Tesla on their site. We spoke to the 'owner' of the car who said he was in Canada but had signed the title over to the broker, SE Motors Broker. Nice website! I spoke to the broker whoo was very helpful. I told him we would fly out to Fort Worth to take a look at the car and he said great. He would pick us up at the airport or send an Uber. We just bought another car from a dealership in NM and had a great experience so this seemed legit.

We flew out this morning and after landing we were unable to get him on the phone. It rings and rings but no answer. So we thought, well let's take a Lyft out to their office and if he's not there we can at least see the car and decide if we want to proceed.

Turns out there is no 2948 Suffolk Dr. It's a really shady part of town with industrial buildings that would never be able to hold the number of cars they said they had. Still wouldn't pick up the phone.

I felt bad that we were having the Lyft driver hunt around for the right building so I said we should allow her to let us go and get her next ride. She said there's NO WAY she's letting us out in this part of town! I asked if she could just take use back to the airport and she did.

Still I can't get in touch with SE Motors. I think that anyone who actually would fly out to check on the car they immediately ghost. They're hoping for the person that trusts them at their word and just send the check.

BEWARE! Do not trust them! They will screw you just like they tried with us!

SCAM ALERT I agreed to buy a car, Shift Auto Brokers (dba SE Motors Group) was to broker the deal. I paid for the car via a wire to their bank, and Shift was to ship the car to my address. But the car never arrived. Since the delivery date, Shift Auto Brokers doesn't answer the phone. Shift Auto Brokers doesn't respond to emails. There is no way to contact them. They have no physical presence at their address. Their phone number is a VOIP, so you are likely calling someone in a different country even though it looks like a Michigan number. They are not rated by the BBB. They have no business licenses.

This is the 2nd car I bought from SE Motors! These fellas are so nice and professional... Michael was my salesmen... he was so patient with me.
I had to come back the next morning and Michael said, "good news, we found you a better rate!" What dealership does that after you've cashed out, signed docs and drove off!? I'm definitely coming back when it's time to buy my boys a car!

My wife and I had a great experience with SE Motors, they sent me a representative that was very professional and friendly in Fort Worth, TX. I was a little skeptical at first, but once the representative explained the whole process we felt comfortable about giving them a shot. We also got a slightly higher estimate than originally quoted. SE Motors provided us with an advanced check after the initial inspection of the vehicle, there was very minor work that was done and the price was adjusted from the quoted price. After the repairs were done and the car was detailed at no extra cost, the ads looked professional and appealing to the eye. They sold the vehicle in approximately 6 weeks. Anyway I am giving them a 5 star because they did everything they had promised to do. It also saved me time from all the low-balers, no shows of appointments being made and practically people that could not afford to purchase the vehicle. SE Motors gets rid off all those people for you and once they advertised on your behalf they only deal with serious qualified buyers. I will go back to these guys, SE Motors is professional and trustworthy. My vehicle was in excellent condition with low miles and I wasted a lot of time when I was trying to sell it on my own, SE Motors was able to meet the price that I was asking for.

I have had a great experience purchasing my SUV from SE Motors. I was weary buying on Craigslist from sellers that were flipping vehicles, not knowing what I was going to end up with.
Daniel and the staff at Go Best put me at ease with my purchase. They helped me to find the perfect SUV I needed for my business. It was delivered to my home in tip top shape many miles away from the main office. After my purchase I wanted to make add ons to my SUV. Daniel helped me on several occasions offering advice, sending links and even sending a person out to my home for a particular service I needed done. I recently purchased a 15 passenger van from Andrew at SE Motors and couldn't be happier. First of all I was looking to find something I could buy out right for less than 10k and also have low mileage which Andrew had several options of. I ended up with a 99 GMC Savana super clean 15 pass van with only 38,000 miles that was a government owned and operated vehicle from the Modesto county area. Andrew allowed me to take it to a mechanic to get it checked out before, he was patient with all of my questions and upfront about everything and shared all the reports on the vehicle as well. Aside from Andrew being very courteous and patient with the sale, as I left once and came back to get it later, he also has been available to me to answer any questions regarding the state of the van and has helped in any way possible as he knows so much about these vans. For example after I took the van out for a tour with my band the catylic converter was in need of a replacement. I didn't know what was wrong at the time so I called Andrew when we got home and he had me take it to his mechanic where the issue was diagnosed in a matter of a few hours. Andrew covered the cost for the converter to be replaced which he certainly didn't need to do but was extremely nice and generous to do that especially as I kind of tapped out my bank account after the purchase haha. I strongly recommend you go see Andrew and the squad at SE Motors ASAP if you're looking for a high quality used van.

I found a van on their website that had very low mileage (40K), and had been government owned and very well maintained. Similar vehicles are being listed at at least a few thousand dollars more, so I figured it was worth looking into this one despite the distance.

I first reached out via email, and Daniel responded extremely quickly and gave me the information I was looking for. We went back and forth almost exclusively via email and he was always quick to respond and answered every single one of my questions.

After asking about some small dents on the roof of the van, Daniel went out and took about a dozen detailed photos showing exactly what they looked like up close. He took those early in the morning and there was dew on the roof, but it was enough for me to see what I needed to see. Even though I was satisfied, I received ANOTHER email from him a few hours later once the roof was dry with even more detailed pictures.

He truly went out of his way to make sure I had a thorough understanding of the van's (excellent) condition, because he knew I was coming from very far away and didn't want there to be any surprises. Because of this I felt totally confident in making the trip down there for a vehicle I had never seen in person.

When I did get down to the lot, I told him I wanted to take the van to a local mechanic for a quick inspection before making the purchase, and he was fine with that. Just handed me the keys and said go for it.

The van is in fantastic condition and I couldn't be more stoked on it or on the no-pressure service I received from Daniel.

After some shady experiences on craigslist, I decided to look for a pre-owned car from a dealership. I didn't feel comfortable with many of the used car dealers I had researched (a lot of reviews about odometer tampering, bogus warranties etc) But I found SE Motors Group and was immediately into the fact that they have the inspection of each car listed on the website, so you can see any issues with a vehicle beforehand. Also its great to have the free Carfax report. Felt like all the cars were solid and reasonably priced. Had been looking for a car for a while and because of coronavirus quarantine decided to try out their no-contact test drive.

Carlos was our concierge and he was fantastic. Super nice, no pressure. It was raining so he hung out on our porch while I inspected and test drove the vehicle. We did the bank transfer and the paperwork on the spot and I bought the car (2010 Hyundai Santa Fe ). All in the prices are just a little bit higher than blue book but worth it for the peace of mind. Just to be safe I took it to my mechanic the day after I bought it (they don't let you get it inspected on a hoist before you buy, but you have 7 days to return it and get refunded in full). My mechanic said the car looked really good. Knock on wood, I have no problems in the future, but I will definitely recommend SE Motors Group to friends.
