So this started on March 7, 2021. I received an email from EPCC that says that I could become a personal assistant. I signed up for it and the next day I started receiving texts from Mr. Paul Lucas. He said that he received my inquiry regarding the offer in EPCC as a personal assistant. Then he listed the duties I had to do which is why I thought this was real. Then he continued on saying that I could get paid $300 weekly or $700 bi-weekly and that I will be receiving money (errands check) inclusive of payment for my service through my bank channel so that I can start before he arrives. He says that my money will be handled by a financial officer by check and asked what bank I use. That was the first suspicion that I had. Then he asked for my mailing address so the financial officer can send out the checks. Finally, he says that I will be getting the check-in a week. A week came by and I didn't get the "errands check" so I texted him saying I didn't get it on March 12, 2021. He told me when he will inform me when it comes out. on March 19, 2021, he texts me I can start by buying blank checks and told me I had to get over 100 USPS priority mail envelopes. So I do that and he texted me the next day asking for my cash app information. On March 22. 2021, I started my "job". He then sends me his email [email protected] and tells me that I have to print out checks and mail them out the same day. Every time I tried to mail them out the scan bar at the top would not scan but the bottom one scans if the mail people use a manual scanner. He also started to tell me to go to different post offices every other day. Then he tells me that he will message me on another business line. So I started doing the job then again I mentioned the "errands check" and he said that he will keep me updated tomorrow as soon as he hears from his financial officer. Then this week I didn't feel right doing all of these things and it seemed sketchy because again he wanted my cash app information so I asked what company he works for this morning of March 31, 2021, and he never replied back. He usually replies at least an hour or two after I texted him so that's when I cut him off. I said that I will not be working for him anymore or sending out any more checks. The funny thing is that he still hasn't replied back to me after 5 hours. I feel bad for the people I sent checks to because now I know it was all a scam. In the images below you will see how the checks and labels are and some messages that were interacted.
