I called back they asked my name. I told them they called me and hung up on me 3 X I told them I was Going to report them

They told me I had a warrant out for my arrest for drug smuggling and theft !

I received a recorded call saying that my social security number has been used for fraudulent activity and to please call this number 1-908-615-8006. I called the number and a foreign woman told me that my social security number was being used for fraudulent activities in Texas. I have never been to Texas & don't live in Texas. I understand that someone could steal my social and use it in another state, but this sounded sketchy from the beginning. She then asked me for my birth date and for my social security number. I told her I wasn't comfortable giving my social security number out and she hung up on me. I looked on the ScamPulse.com website under scam tracker and noticed that a few people have had similar experiences.

This number called me 7 times today with an automated message saying the federal crime and investigation department needs to talk to me and identified themselves as the Social Security Administration. They left the number and asked me to call back. I blocked the caller on my phone, but the calls still came through. I finally called back and demanded they take me off their list to which they responded "no, don't do that to me, your voice is so sweet". After demanding again I was hung up on.

When I did not press 1, the message just repeated itself. What's scary is that it is a local Hawaii phone number that called me. Per ScamPulse.com rep, this is a scam. Just to add, I registered my phone with the National Do Not Call Registry.

I have gotten 5 calls so far saying that I have a suspended Social Security number with suspected illegal activities, then the other calls are claiming unless I get my lawyer or myself to call them they will put me in jail. I am using a work computer so I cant download the call transcripts to you. If someone contacts me thru email [email protected] I can email it from my phone. I have an iphone that if someone leaves a message on it, it creates transcript. I never answered the phone, never spoke to anyone, nor did I respond. I knew better.
