Called my 84 yr old Mom saying her social security number had been jeopardized. Asking her to verify her SS number to them, She actually went to get her card. Mother has dementia and cannot remember where she puts things (this time thank goodness) it took so long they hung up. It just so happened I was home sick today and they called again, and she said let me call my daughter and she will call you back. Again they hung up. I got number , after numerous rings a man answer, not from Texas, I told him he called my mom and I am verifying this number through a data base, and I need to verify this is Social Security Office. I need your Employee ID your Supervisors Name and the Dept you work in. If you hang up I am reporting you to the Better Business and Abilene Police Dept. This call came from Boothbay Harbor, Main

I got a call and they left a voice mail message saying to call before they begin legal proceedings against me. The call came from Blackville, SC and the number is : 803-219-1710. When I called it the gentleman said he was from tSocial Security and needed my date of birth and social security number. I told him I was reluctant to give out that information over the phone and he gave me his name as Bob Hamilton and his employee ID was 63832 and again asked for my date of birth and social security number. He sounded like he was from India and there was a lot of noise in the background. I hung up and called sheriffs office and they gave me your website to report this.
