This guy told me to call him immediately because my Social Security was compromise and I was going to jail. Then he hung up after giving me the number to call, which is, 434-658-2362. So, I call back with an attitude. He wanted to know my name? I told him you call me you should already know my name. He said he didn't so, I gave him my name. Then he told me my Social Secuity was compromise and someone open an account in my name. He wanted my Social Security number and I wouldn't give it to him. He jung up.

I received two robo phone calls from 740 area code and a Kansas City area code stating and identifying themselves as "special agents" from social security. They said that my number was compromised, threatened me with many items, said I had to work with them to resolve the problems and to call back. The robo call was the bait to call Social Security and gave several threats. I did call the first one back. The caller identified herself, (used the same name with both phone numbers), I couldn't hear the connection well, but the first person was faking a foreign accent, I asked her to identify herself again, and to give me more information. She immediately hung up. I no longer have the phone numbers. The incident did occur when I transferred to a new phone. My existing number was transferred with the new phone. There had to have been a security gap long enough for them to find the number. I never had the same issue before, and had the number for 5 years. That is the key I think: watch out when changing phones. Make sure you have the tracking turned off both phones when switching. AARP site also lists these same phone numbers and the same Phishing down to the same names and message content. Google is the internet provider on the phone.
