This company uses deceptive borderline illegal sales tactics. I am sure if they lie to potential customers in mail fliers they do worse when negotiating a deal. I received a mailer saying I had won $5000. I thought it was a scam so I called the number to confirm I had won. I went to the store still assuming it was a scam but for the chance at $5000 I had to make sure. Sure enough, scam. They said they would mail me a $5 dollar gift card but it doesn’t come close to compensating the time it took to drive out there.

Scammer called using phone number (336)7386645. He claimed his name was James Hill and he was from Publishers Clearing House. He identified my address, saying I won 6.9 million dollars and a 2023 Ford Yukon. He tried to instruct me to go to a grocery store and take out 2 gift cards for 500 dollars each and call the phone number (929)6070693 to give him the codes on the gift cards. The scammer had an Indian accent but tried to make it sound Midwestern. When the scammer realized I knew it was a scam he hung up. The phone number with the 929 area code was called to verify it was the same scammer, and he hung up when he realized it was me.

11:55a.m. I received a phone call on my mobile phone from a "Stacey Young" at 706.290.1075, who said he was the Package Director with American Cash Rewards. He gave me his badge# 75701, a P.C.N. 011552635703U.S. A PIN# 535622, and a tracking# 246801268. The Cash Reward van would be at my door at 3:30pm to present my check for $2.5 million and a 2023 BMW. "David White" called at 11:59 a.m. Caller ID had him listed in Rome, GA. He was the Program Director, calling from "Nevada" at 725.800.2376. He asked me to transfer the program cost from my bank, which was $7749 in taxes, but for me, they decreased the taxes to $ 599.00. I told them I had to have their email to receive the money so they game me the email-- [email protected] and it has a woman's picture to identify it. The program was called "Set 4 Life" and I would receive $ 2500 every 3 months for the rest of my life. I hung up saying I would transfer $ 100, because that was all I had left in my my grocery account. They called me back 32 times after I told them that it was a scam. This morning they have called 3 times before 0647 a.m.

The scammer attempted to give away a supposed "free cello", claiming it was stored in Maine and asked for my home address when I expressed interest. They also used a supposed email from a moving company, JC Movers, but I highly doubt it was a real email judging by the following sentences at the end of the quote.

"You are required to get back to us by choosing your preferred Shipping plan and also select your preferred payment option from the list of options below: Zelle, Cashapp, Apply Pay"

For reference, the email used to possibly pose as the moving company was [email protected]

In the initial email where I expressed interest, the scammer used three of the four same pictures as they did when the flier was posted.

Stated that we had filled out a contest flyer and were selected as winners of a vacation trip. 2 options were offered: 3 day 2 night hotel with round trip airfare for 2 adults to over 50 destinations in the US, including LA, Miami, and NY. Or 8 day 7 night resort with airfare for 4 adults to anywhere in the continental US. We were invited to their local office in Greensboro at the address of 4253 Piedmont Pkwy, Suite 101, Greensboro, NC 27410 for a 90 minute presentation of their services, packages, benefits offered with no purchase necessary. They said it was not like a timeshare meeting but that both of us had to be present and once the presentation was complete, we would be given the certificate for the package of our choice, which would be valid for 1 year. They had appointments available at 5:15pm & 7:15pm most evenings, an additional 3:15pm timeslots on Friday, and some additional daytime options on Saturday. They asked when I could confirm availability with my partner and will be calling me back to book our appointment.

I received a phone call earlier this week and again today 4/28/2023 regarding a supposed prize I won . Shawn Mitchell was the caller and he said at some point in the past 18 months I had entered a contest either by in person at a store, online or mail. My prize would be one of 3 major prizes. First one would be a 2023 Ford Explorer worth 38 thousand or I could take the cash which would be $25,000. Second prize would be a 3 day stay at any Marriot hotel. Third prize would be a Samsung 70" tv. If I win the Ford ,I would have to agree to display a advertisement on the sides of said vehicle for 6 months and carry some pamphlets to hand out to people about how I got the Explorer. When I first received the call earlier in the week, he left a voice message. When I tried calling him back it went to voicemail. Another number that was initially used was 539-208-0151 which when I looked up online, is in Owasso,OK. I am sure this is a scam as previously the ScamPulse.com has reached out to this company at the exact address as Mr.Mitchell gave me. 4253 Piedmont Pkwy. suite.101 Greensboro,NC. I am suppossed to go there tomorrow 4/29/2023 at 11:30 with my husband to claim my prize in person( front of gathered witnesses he said). Claim #TVM 45-107. Needless to say we are not going.I hope you can stop people like this before someone gets scammed. Thank you.

Truly Daily Winners had a sponsor ad on Facebook soliciting to give away $500 Target gift cards. It stated that you only had to pay for shipping and handling $2.95. Once I gave my credit card# they charged my card $9.99; $52.94 on 3/24/23 and $109.88 - 3/26/23 while I was on the phone with my bank; disputing the charges; they charged the $109.88. My bank cancelled my card and reissued me a new one. My bank was able to get $9.99 and $52.94 refunded back to me; but the vendor only refunded $.60 for the $109.88. My bank is working on this now. I just needed your to know. I also reported them on Facebook.

Thank you.

I received a call from Debra Holland at Publishers Clearinghouse Company. They have been in business since 1953. She stated that I won 10.5 million dollars and a AMG Mercedes. She asked how I felt. I told her I did not believe her. She asked if I had seen the mailings they sent to me? I told her I threw them away. She said they got my information from magazines that I had ordered that were through Publishers. (I was doubtful). She asked what I would do with my winnings and stated she hoped it would be used wisely. She asked me to state three good things I would do with the money. I told her three things. I kept repeating that I doubted this was for real. She stated that my name was picked out of 20 million names. That a Mr. Michael Collins, the controller, brought my name to her as the winner. She also stated that Mr. Michael Collins will want to speak with me that he would be so happy about me winning. She asked me if my husband was home, that he had to be on the phone also. I told her he was outside but she insisted he needed to be on the phone with me. My husband was very skeptical from the moment he got on the phone. He told her he did not believe her right away. Debra went on to explain everything she had told me. She went on and asked how many children we had. She wanted to know if they lived in the same house or state. I did answer those questions. She stated the rules of how they don't follow how the T.V. portrays the PCH vehicle just showing up at your house. That there is a van and company people in town staying at a hotel close by. I asked her why they would be in town already. She stated they just don't show up without calling the winner first. She said they need to be close to pick up flowers, deliver the check and $500,000 dollars cash to us. She stated she needed to call them to see if they were ready to deliver our items. If she lost us she stated I should call back at 15164998748 or that she would call back in 5 minutes or less. Before she disconnected she stated we could not tell anyone until we received our gifts. She also asked us if we wanted cameras, neighbors or family members when the PCH truck arrived or wanted to keep it private. I said private. She said most members are going private now. She asked me if she told me the color of the car, that is as Cherry Red. She disconnected after a few seconds. She did call back. She stated that Mr. Michael Collins wanted to congratulate me and speak with me about what will happen next. Before she disconnected again to get Mr. Michael Collins on the phone, Debra explained about the money. How it was tax free. That PCH money has been tax free since 1980 that all winning members were exempt. That a lot of winners complained about all the taxes being taken out of their winnings, That they are privately owned now and can give the money to whom they want. (Red Flag again). She stated that we would have to license and insure our new Mercedes and if we understood that. We stated "Yes" we understood. She insisted she heard both of us say we understood. (My husband and I thought that we should not be saying "Yes" because they probably were recording our answers). Debra also stated that we would have to pay $4200 for the taxes on the vehicle to the IRS before it was delivered. (Big Red Flag!!). She disconnected us. She tried calling back 2 more times. On the third try I answered the phone. She seemed upset and asked why I didn't pick up the other two times. I told her we were busy with our Autistic son. She seem okay with that answer. She then said Mr. Michael Collins would be calling. She hung up. Sure enough the next call was from Mr. Michael Collins. He congratulated us on winning 10.5 million and a Mercedes. He stated he worked for the company for 28 years. He wanted to know how we felt. We told him we did not believe any of this. Then my husband told him we would not be wiring you any money, paying taxes with a check or giving you any account numbers. Mr. Michael Collins hung up.

Received a message (1-206-705-5990) stating (name I couldn't understand) he was calling from the mega million lottery about my winnings. He left a another phone number to call back 1-484-578-4434. I felt this was a scam and hung up immediately after he told me I would receive several millions of dollars (can't remember amount.. I was waiting for the punch line), all I had to do was send $999.00 to receive it. I asked why he couldn't take it from my winnings and he went in to tell me the Government dept has to charge so and so. I hung up on him. Just want to get you those phone numbers in case they're trying it on someone else. Thank you.
