This is not a marketing job! This is [censored], they talk to you like you will
be able to work into a marketing company but at the end, is just for sale internet in Walmart and another retails. Please don’t go! They don’t have another business line. If you are looking for a marketing job, this is not the place.

This place is 100% a scam. They falsely advertise a Marketing position & even sent me an email prior to my interview telling me that my day-to-day responsibilities would be leading business meetings, speaking with clients, doing admin stuff, interviewing and training new people, etc. HA. Both of my interview seemed legitimate, as they LIED to my face about what the position entailed. Post getting the call about getting the job & prior to my first day, they told me that I would be coming in for my first day just to do paperwork. I get in the next day, everyone is rude to me & treats me like I’m late (I was 15 minutes early). They tell me we don’t have time to do paperwork (they also told me they were only choosing 2 people to hire, yet there were at least FOUR others there that I saw doing their second interviews the day before). They went over a whole bunch of information in about 10 minutes and then we were in two different circles and everyone was chanting weird stuff-I felt like I was in a cult. Everyone had this attitude that you can’t sleep because you’ll never reach your goals & you have to never stop. I felt like everyone snorted cocaine before they came in or something. I then was told to get in my trainer’s car- no one told me where we were going or what we were doing. We ended up at a Walmart in Lemmon Valley & and stood outside the Electronics section harassing people to buy Spectrum internet. & by harassing, I literally mean harassing. They were literally following people down aisles.. I’m not exaggerating here. Insanity. I was not told how long we were going to be there until we were already there. I had to miss a family event & plans I had with a friend from out of town I hadn’t seen in over a year, and I wanted to just leave so badly, but didn’t have my car. I was not allowed to go to the bathroom or get water, and not allowed to take a break, so I had a giant migraine by the end of the day. We finally had one 10 minute break “because it was my first day” & was told not to tell anyone because we’d get in trouble? We finally left at 7 P.M. & when we got back to the office, still had to have a meeting with the boss about what I learned. I didn’t leave until almost 8.. almost an 11 hour shift and didn’t get paid a DIME. Backpacking off of that, I was not told it was a sales job.. you don’t make money unless you sell internet. My trainer told me she, and most others who work there, get to the office around 6:30 or 7 A.M. & don’t leave until 10 or 11 P.M. They work 6 days a week. So these people are working 15-16 hour shifts every single day, literally dedicating their entire LIVES to the bull[censored], with no breaks and no food or water, and they told me that on a good week, they make close to $900. ON A GOOD WEEK. Usually, they only make around $6-700. Needless to say, I did NOT go back the next day. Do NOT FALL FOR THIS, NO MATTER HOW APPEALING THEY MAKE IT SOUND.

Hello! I received an email (idk how I wasn’t even applying to jobs) and they asked to schedule an appointment. So I did but I confirmed the address and asked who I should ask for when I arrive, whoever I was talking to said “you will be greeted by our receptionist ‘Abby’...” so when that was said I thought “oh okay this could be legit”. Doing more research I found these 2 reviews on this scam and I have decided I am no longer going. I appreciate these reviews and I will be reporting them on all hiring websites.

The buzz consulting group is a scam. The posted job offer for a marketing associate that I almost fell for, sounded too good to be true. I scheduled an interview with them and after trying to find out more about the marketing firm, there was nothing to find. They fake HR person who schedules your interview doesn’t even give you a name in the email. The company doesn’t have a office in Reno and gives you an adress next to the airport. Don’t go there.

wow that's crazy, I just got offered a managerial job from fierce consulting and it is at a place next to the reno airport. how did you find out it was a scam?

- Reno, NV, USA

I applied for a marketing position with Buzz after seeing a posting on LinkedIn. At first it just seemed like a small start-up marketing firm without much information about the business. In correspondence with the HR team, the email signature had a NJ address. I thought that was odd so I googled to see if there was another office in NJ. I was unable to find anything about the Buzz Consulting Group on google. I finally stumbled across a Glassdoor posting about a “Buzz Sports Marketing” in NJ. They scammed a man there and lied about the job opportunity. They went so far as to make him ride over an hour away in the car with strangers from the interview site to see what they do “first hand.” I had a gut feeling that something was wrong with the “job” and did not show up to my interview after reading the Glassdoor posting. This same position is listed on Ziprecruiter and other job listing websites as well. I hope no one else falls for this scam!

I just scheduled an interview with them for tomorrow. I have an address but nothing else. Besides that how is it a scam, please I’m just trying to gather info?
