Total money lost $375
Type of a scam Online Purchase
On Sunday, October 25th, I asked to receive additional pictures and videos of the puppy. Upon receipt of the additional pictures, I sent $375 to Alex Orina through cashapp tag $blvcks21. Receipt of payment was acknowledged both through cashapp and text.
Monday, October 26th, I asked about the paperwork and confirmed my e-mail address. Through text I received what appeared to be a document, titled City of Orlando USDA, with the name Levi Young and a partial address in Pensacola, FL. I didn't know the document was a fake until I tried to e-sign it. At that point I discovered that it was an image. I instantly reached out to cash app and was told that there was nothing they could do. I had to request a refund directly from the recipient of the funds. I did and of course they declined. I printed the doc to pdf, signed and sent back, hoping for the best at this point. They acknowledged receipt and a few hours later I received a text saying that they got the flight, but no information was included.
I then received an e-mail from [email protected], requesting $500 for vaccinations, insulin and a pet license from Kentucky. I reached out to the seller and asked what was going on. They asked me what was the transportation service saying the fees were for. I told them and they responded "ok." I'm like what is going on? According to the site, the puppy comes with up to date shots and the shipping fee was included in the total cost. Of course I have not received a response.
I had no idea this would happen. I purchased a Yorkshire Terrier the exact same way in 2007 and owned the dog eight years!!!
