T-Mobile HP laptop survey sweepstakes scam. I "won" a laptop, I just had to pay $9.95 for shipping and handling. When I paid with credit card, it morphed into a subscription for FITGNX "the number one health app". Found a refund tab, Surprise It Did Not WORK? I tried tab marked cancel and it WORKED. Gonna call my credit card tomorrow and see what they charged me AND if cancelled.

Lowe’s scam

My husband fell prey to the Lowe’s email about the tools for $9.99. He received a membership for a gym instead and they took $39 more out of our account. There’s no way to cancel the “subscription” that was piggybacking on the Lowe’s ad.

Email ([email protected]) pretending to be Harbor Freight and asks you to fill out a survey about Harbor Freight and the says you won a 170 piece Stanley Tool set. Website (eticspin.com/1185a05ac0609ca0a09f354a3874801). Then it says to pay $8.98 for shipping. Once you pay it says Your entry/monthly plan has been confirmed. Gives a order number and says you have joined a Fitness app FITGNX (website toponeselectionproducts.com) 844-907-9376 or 678-389-4282 out of Atlanta, GA. When they call it says they are a 3rd party and won't give there name and no supervisor was Available.
