My husband fell prey to the Lowe’s email about the tools for $9.99. He received a membership for a gym instead and they took $39 more out of our account. There’s no way to cancel the “subscription” that was piggybacking on the Lowe’s ad.

I received a survey on Lowes if you completed it you would have a free Makita tool set. Once you complete the survey they request full address and payment of shipping cost A way to steal your credit card information. Do not complete it!

Email ([email protected]) pretending to be Harbor Freight and asks you to fill out a survey about Harbor Freight and the says you won a 170 piece Stanley Tool set. Website (eticspin.com/1185a05ac0609ca0a09f354a3874801). Then it says to pay $8.98 for shipping. Once you pay it says Your entry/monthly plan has been confirmed. Gives a order number and says you have joined a Fitness app FITGNX (website toponeselectionproducts.com) 844-907-9376 or 678-389-4282 out of Atlanta, GA. When they call it says they are a 3rd party and won't give there name and no supervisor was Available.
