This company sent me a letter stating that I was being sent to collections for a bounced check. I contacted them, thinking it was a legitimate company and that I was a victim of identity fraud. They then said that they could not provide me with details of the bounced check but that I still owed the money. I realized the letter and company was a scam but unfortunately, three years later, I am still receiving collection letters and calls. I block the numbers but they call from different ones.

From: TRANSWORLD SYSTEMS Inc. (may also do business as NCO from same address)

Return address: P.O.Box 15618, Wilmington DE

Address in the body of the text: 507 Prudential Rd, Horsham PA 19044

Phone: 800-897-0308 (recording indicated a full mailbox, but no company or individual's name)

Creditor: listed as FEDEX TECHCONNECT INC. (Numerous complaints found for online against TSI and NCO, several contacted FdEx to learn they do not use a collection agency)

Invoice amount: $26.51 indicated as "Seriously Past Due""

Addressed to the home address (same as the address line) rather than myself or my wife.
