My husband & I were taking a vacation & Vick at the # above told us he was with Delta airlines. We asked for bulkhead seats and told they would be $1500 then were told isle seats were $675 We opted for the cheaper option! (my husband had knee surgery.) We did not get them! Called Delta to explain & they saidvthey dont charge for that & would accomodate free of charge. They also said they did not receive any money or a request.! When i called Vick back he said it was sent back to them. Lied to our credit card company & told them it was never for isle seats that they are a travel agency. I am 74 yrs old & on a limited income. Please stop them they are making money off of innocent people maybe a little naive because we dont travel much!!

I gave them a credit card to pay the $415.66 they charged for airplane tickets on American Airlines. When I called American to verify validity of tickets, I learned I had none. So I had to cancel my credit card, that had not yet been charged. They called me after that to follow up. I did not engage, having researched, and learned they were a scam. (Your site won't accept the number they attempted to steal from me on previous page)

This is ostensibly a flight booking website. They advertise cheap airfares. It's a bait-and-switch scam. Wife and I had a sudden need to fly to St. Louis on short notice and I was trying to save money. A search turned up this website.

I found a great fare at hours I wanted to fly. I booked it and paid for it with a credit card. The first problem came up when they called a couple of hours later to describe the restrictions, which included ZERO baggage of any sort. Only one small personal item. I was very unhappy but they wouldn't budge, so we decided to make it work because it was important we go.

The next issue popped up the next day when they called to say only one of us could be confirmed; the other was on standby. I said that was unacceptable. So he came back with another flight that was nearly 3 times the original cost. I protested long enough that he finally brought it down to a bit less than double the original, at a less desirable time. I reluctantly accepted.

We flew out the next week on a Tue. Event was Wed. We were supposed to fly back to Phx Thu night. Well, Thu morning they called to say that flight was gone and they were working to find another. This went on for the rest of Thu until I realized we weren't leaving on Thu. He confirmed that but promised me a flight out at 8am Fri. But in every case, they always have to actually book it with the airline and then email you your boarding passes. And that is where this chain continually broke down. A flight would be promised with email to arrive 3-6 hours later. Those emails never came. So I'd call them and the game began all over again. Throughout this whole process, I would occasionally get so frustrated that I would ask for a refund. But I was always told it was non-refundable.

We had to book an airport hotel, hoping that I'd get the email for the Fri 8am flight overnight while we slept. No emails arrived. I tried calling only to find out no one could help me until 10:30 Fri morning.

At that point, I gave up and was forced to go book a flight home at my expense. Fortunately I found one at $867 that afternoon. No one from Smart Cheap Fares ever called me again.

The way I look at it, they took half my money for no return. I paid approximately $1250. I'm asking for $600 back.

I purchased airline tickets from this website and I was notified by e-mail three days prior to my flight that there was a problem with my reservation and to contact the 800 number provided in the e-mail. When I called the representative informed me that the terms of the airline ticket purchase had changed and that I was no longer allowed to bring a checked bag, carry on bag, or personal item on the flight. I was only allowed to have my boarding pass and cell phone with me. He explained that these rules were stated prior to checkout. None of these rules were listed anywhere on the website, nor did I even get a confirmation of the purchase or a reservation number. He proceeded to tell me that for an additional $400 I would be able to change my cabin on the plane so that I would be able to bring a carry on. He pressured me to proceed with the additional fee or I would forfeit my seat altogether and that my flight would be non-refundable which he claimed was also stated on the website. Again, none of these rules were ever mentioned on the website. I told the representative that these last minute alterations were unacceptable and I did not continue with the "additional" purchase. I simply hung up without giving them the chance to record me agreeing to anything. DO NOT USE this site! Not only will they try to scam you out of money but they will also leave you stranded without a flight!!!!

I am going to Europe this upcoming weekend for a cruise. My mother wanted info about our flights and called a number off of google that stated it was delta airlines. I believe this man was a scammer. He requested personal info and told us our flights were cancelled(they were through the delta website) which threw us into a panic as we are expected to leave in 4 days. This man could not verify any information but wanted me to verify all of the passenger names and date of births. Also said we had to repurchase the tickets at current value(totaling over $6,000), and that he would refund us AFTER the flights took place. Absolute scam. Sat on hold with the correct delta customer service for 3 hours before getting to an actual person. This representative was so nice and fixed our issue within minutes. Somehow our flights were cancelled online which none of us had done. I believe this man got flight information from my mother and used it to cancel our flights online, trying to get us to pay him this ridiculous amount to “get them back.”

Posed as Delta Airline Customer Service Rep, this guy named Massimo, told me that even if Delta cancelled the flight in order to rebook it I was supposed to pay for a fair difference. My son and his fiance' were stuck in Italy after his flight got cancelled on July 19 because of worldwide Microsoft issue. My son got automatically rebooked by Delta on a flight of July 21 but his fiance' didn't. The email i received from Delta airline stated that she was rebooked with my son. Once at the airport, no one from Delta assisted her in a timely matter so they both ended up missing july 21 flight/chance to return to the USA. At this point, we tried to call Delta airline in Italy at 1-800-221-1212 but no one ever answered the phone. We looked for a Delta phone# in the US and we found this # 1-877-913-1050. I called this# and pretending they were Delta airline they told me that I had to pay for a difference in fare in order to rebook their cancelled flight. After a long arguing, and desperate to get my son and fiance' back in the US, I agreed to pay a rebooking fee of $985. In the midtime I drove to the airport where they were stuck and went to talk directly to a Delta ticketing customer service assistant. They told me that Delta was rebooking at no extra fees and that I have been scammed but this "third" party unknown company. I immediately called my bank and blocked my credit card.

I called a number that I thought was expedia to change my flights. They told me it was going to $395 a ticket to change the flights. They went onto expedia pretending to be my husband and then went onto American pretending to be my husband again. They then charged me saying the fee was to change the flights which part of the fee was. However, the other fee was not for the flights solely.

I was attempting to cancel tickets and when I tried to contact American Airlines I googled their customer service phone number. The number I found was at the top of the Google "Sponsored" search results and (in hindsight) was a clone of the American Airlines links. I contacted them and they were VERY professional. The lady told me she could cancel my trip and that I could get a credit for the money I spent for the trip. To get the4 credit however, I would need to pay a $200 cancellation fee. I was a bit suspicious but still gave her the credit card information. She emailed me a "verification" and when I saw it I knew something was wrong. Thankfully, as I was already suspicious I had logged onto my bank app and locked my credit card immediately. I argued back and forth with here and she became belligerent and accused me of "racism".

I hung up and contacted American Airlines again, this time making sure I get the number from the correct link. They told me that this is a common scam and that they are in no way affiliated with this fake travel subcontractor.

Third party website, my fiance was booking a getaway that we have saved a long time for to go to Carmel, CA and was excited to share that she had booked 2 nights at the Intercontinental in Monterey, California. When I got home from work she told me the deal she got (which was about 400 dollars cheaper than the actual Hotels price) and my heart immediately sunk. We called the Hotel and they told us our Reservation Number should not have any dashes in it and that we had probably been scammed. I work for one of the 3 big banks here in the US that isn't Chase or BofA... Just so happens we both bank with my employer and called customer support to file a claim and try to stop payment just 3 hours after giving the crooks the debit. We tried calling the Prestigia.com customer support and the line was not even connected. I am going to include the original email from these scammers so you can see what they are up too.

Used phone to initiate car rental from Costco Travel. Used phone to obtain initial phone number (1-888-954-8030). Spoke to representative posing as Costco representative (Roger 1-844-517-1021 Ext. 7200). He posed as representative renting car and obtained information about me. He informed me that there was a rebate promotion going on. I needed to go to pharmacy or Walmart type store and purchase a green dot visa card. I obtained money and purchased they card from Walgreens. I returned his call per his instructions and gave him the information on the card. He informed me that I would receive car tomorrow morning I was to show visa card and driver's license to person that delivered the car. I informed my son of what I did and he informed me that this was a scan. I went back to Walgreens approx. 8 hrs. later and was told that they could not stop payment and I needed to call green dot at 866-795-7597. I called green dot when I got home and was put on hold for 2 1/2 hours with music playing in the background. I could not hold on any further.

I was expecting an email from a conference event host to make hotel arrangements. I received an email from Traveller Point (sometimes called Travellers Point) via PandaDoc to sign a document to secure hotel accommodations. They knew my name, email address, and dates of my arrival already. The form asked me for my name, mailing address, cell phone number, and a signature to payment terms. They also requested my business name and tax ID, but I neglected to provide that information.

The statement of agreement states that I would be responsible for 25% deposit of 409 EUR at time of booking and that other charges for 409 EUR/night would be charged 20 days prior to check in.

I conferred with the event hosts and they assured me that they have no relationship with Traveller Point and that the company has fraudulently misrepresented how it became connected to me.

I called what I thought was the Scandinavian Airlines help number after doing a Google search on my phone. The person who answered had an Indian accent and claimed to help me rebook my ticket. He sent me the email attached to confirm (identifying info redacted). I cancelled my card after I realized that it was a scam.

I have had the sad experience with these people. New names are Joshua Tobia, Tanner Ellis 561 375 3423 Andrew Anderson +1 561 375 . 3411. They have changed phone numbers and they go to only these numbers.

I have engaged a lawyer and also contacted state authorities as well as federal authorities to investigate them to shut them down and prosecute them for fraud.

Used web to search for JetBlue customer service (this was my first time flying that airline). I wanted to register a carry on pet. The charged me $500 and then when I got to the airport there was no record.

An add popped up on my Instagram on Black Friday (Nov. 25th.) Morning, under 'hyattvacayclub', for $199 per family for 3-day/2-night, Lake Tahoe. So I paid for it, and there's a page told me it'll be Northstar Tahoe, and I needed to call 866 974 0975 to confirm my date of arrival. I tried to call it but couldn't go through. On Saturday afternoon, they called me up to help me reserve the date. And then they began to ask me for information not that relevant to hotel reservation, and eventually I found out they wanted me to take a 'two-hour' real estate purchase tour of Northstar, and wanted to make sure I was able to make financial decisions. When I asked them about the hotel reservation, I was told the $199 I had paid was for a Best Western approx. 6 miles away from Northstar Tahoe. Then I realised it was a typical scam. I told him I wasn't interested and would like to cancel it, now that no reservation had been made yet, and was told that I couldn't even cancel it. So it lures people with 'hyatt' and 'Northstar', but rather it aims to put people into Best Western and sell people real estate. If this type of scam are not suspended, 'clever business model' like this may spread.
