Pending Refund and Suspected Travel Scam
I also want to share my clues as I am unable to do a thing about it so far.
[email protected] – the first email I got confirming the flights included these phone numbers and signature, just as per your friend’s email...Reservation DeskToll-free (24/7): +1(888)-(447)-6137Toll-free (24/7): +1(888)-(447)-6138
In a second email confirming the refund of 3,455 USD, I found this information in the fine print:Speed Trip And Tour Corp (this exactly as your report!) along with these two phone numbers:1-877-287-50281-877-958-5624
As you can imagine, I have been insisting like hell, and they have given me this email which was answered once, with no signature:[email protected], and this other one:[email protected] – no answer so far.
On my credit card statement, I found this information:TRIP SERVICE 877-358-61 LEVITTOWNwhich leads me to think that they operate from Pennsylvania.
Another piece of information that also makes me think they operate from Pennsylvania is that in one of the emails there was a button to upload documents (which I was not prompted to use), and it leads to this web page:https://crm.airticketmode.com/ or AirTicketMode, which is operated by ATM LLCAddress: 1712 S 7th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148Toll-free number: 1‑888‑709‑2640Email: [email protected]
