Keep getting repeated phone calls from 619 980 5888. Caller says I won a vacation and asks if I am over 28. After hanging up, I called back. Female with Indian accent answered and pretended to not know what was going on and told me "not to worry about it". These calls are received several times a week and are unsolicited and unwanted!!!!

I was contacted today from a man portraying to be my grandson the caller ID showed cell phone BC 778.669.0361. When I answered the phone he said "grandma" so I immediately started talking with him. He said that he was sick and had been on his way to the doctor and for me not to tell anyone (his mom or dad) when traveling with a friend the var was pulled over by the police. According to him the police found illegal drugs in the car and he is being held by the State Police, and that his bond was $7000 I replied I don't have that kind of money. He then said they would take $2000 instead again I don't have access to that kind of money so I further went on the ask where are you? He said again the "State Police". knowing my grandson is in the military I asked again what city? which state? that seemed to alert the caller and he hung up? I called my local police department here in Chatham County and they advised me to report this to the ScamPulse.com.

This was a phone call received at my home and I answered a question with "YES" and the caller hung up. Assuming this is a "YES" scam...

- Canton, MI, USA

The person on the end asked me if i could hear them, and i said "Yes" and they hung up. I am now unable to call the number back as it says the number is disconnected.

They keep calling and saying hello. I said Yes and they hung up on me.

Called multiple times by this scam number. When picking up, you are greeted by a pre-recorded message asking to renew a warranty. Asked about the number of miles on the vehicle. I don't own a vehicle, so this was probably a scam. When calling back the number, it appears a normal person came on the line, and he had no idea of this scam. He also got these messages, like me when I asked him. So apparently, this number was spoofed and probably comes from India or something. If you receive calls like this one, I would recommending hanging up immediately.

We received two recorded messages 3/12/2018 Stating: In regards to issue in previous 6 months with no response and is considered a intentional fraud by the US government. so will be down loading case to courthouse. With a phone number to call. No mention of any names. We have not had any previous issues from anyone!

This number keeps calling my cell number and leaving messages saying that if I do not call them back in 24 hours, that I will be arrested by local authorities in regards to 4 reports filed against my name. Obviously, I have not called the number, although I have reported the number on several different websites.

“The tax fraud and be investigating team of our department is investigating you and your family we had tried to _?_?_?_?_?_ you regarding this issue in previous six months that we had never got a response from you so it has been considered as an intentional fraud and lawsuit has been filed under your name _?_ _?_?_?_?_ United States government you may call our department number 206-681-9021 I repeat it's 206-681-9021 for more information before we download your case into the courthouse thank you…”

This is the robo-call voicemail I received. I have not tried to return the call as the number is flagged in Whitepages as suspected scam, and verbiage such as “download your case into the courthouse” doesn’t make sense. Nor does IRS, etc contact vi phone for first time and I’ve received nothing in the mail.

I received a text message for a job i did not apply for. The textor stated i applied for a house cleaning job on Home Adviser (HA). I am a contractor and do not apply for jobs. I contacted HA and advised them that scams are coming through their website to the contractors. The first time i responded, I received a broken English email stating the individual was in England moving to the states for a job in Washington D.C. and wanted us to be his live in house keeper for his family. They wanted our banking information to initiate payment.

Received a yellow card stating to call the number to reschedule a missed home delivery.

Call from Iowa, claiming tax fraud and arrest warrant issuance....call their number.

There was a voice message on my home answering machine where the caller simply said hello, (my first name). I read, on another web site, that this type of call is used to get you to say 'Yes' so they can use your voice confirmation in fraudulent activities. This web site had a comment to report the number here on bbb.org.

This number called my grandpa as soon as his computer went down. They "fixed" the problem after 349.00 was paid. I called the number back and they refused to give me any info and hung up on me when I asked them to prove they weren't a scam

We received a phone call from a Rickey King on Feb 26, 2018. They said they had federal program whereby they could reduce your electric bill.An appointment was set up for Wednesday, 2/28 at 9:00 am. On Tuesday February 27 at 7:55 am we received a phone call from a person named John who confirmed our appointment on Wednesday at 9:00am. He said he assumed we had power of attorney. I said what do we need a power of attorney for and he hung up. They never showed up. The persons names on the caller id and their telephone numbers are as follows: Rickey King (407) 474-0790 and Jennifer Dennis (407) 952-4595. This is assumed to be a scam because there is no federal program that reduces your electric bill. I called FPL and they said they were not aware of any such program. The scammers also asked if we were beween the ages of 70 and 85.

Under the name of Michael R***, a housing posting in *** *** ** advertises a fully furnished place for around $650-$750 a month. Do not send this person any information because it is fake. He says he is away in *** and cannot meet in person but the leasing office associated with the address he provides (*** *** **) says that they have no information on the person and the photos he has posted are fake.

The man on the other end of the call said, "I'm an advisor on a recorded call. Can you hear me OK." I instinctively said Yes without thinking, Then the call disconnected. The phone number is a landline, but without paying a fee I can't find out who the owner of the line is.
