Getting calls with same sense of urgency. I havent had any debt for close to 27 years, so i have no idea why they would call.But i do not and will not call back, or confirm anything.
Once a debt collector called and claimed I owed a certain amount. I asked him who the debt was from. I told him if he sent me the paperwork i would review it and if i did owe money i would pay, but as far as i know, i dont owe anything to anybody.. (he kept trying to get me to say i did owe the money and i kept telling him i am not admitting i owe anything)He got mad and asked if I am refusing to pay and I said, i do not know that i am indebted to anyone, so if you send me the paperwork, i will check it out. He got mad and said..."i'm just putting down you refuse to pay". I said ok.

Upclegalservices.com alleges that I have a debt related to the following credit card number 5458 0048 4900 3350. However, when I checked this credit card number, it appeared to be invalid and not associated with any financial institution.

This company's telephone number is (866) 781-8637. You can find more information on its website: https://upclegalservices.com/.

"We need to report it to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/ so they can include it in their Consumer Sentinel Network. If the FTC didn't receive complaints about this company, they are not going to include them in the Consumer Sentinel Network."

Debt Collector Robocall Scam
UPC Legal Services Scam Alert!
Just wanted to let everyone know that this is 1 of 2 things. This is either a scam to capture your information or a retention of ancient debt beyond any legal threshold.
The major red flag for me is I owe no debt at all and their only contact information has been to go to their website and type in your SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER which appears to be malicious.
“Yes, it is. This is a very, very very important. Our office is desperately trying to get in touch with (my full name) This is a friendly notice that we do require some sort of an arrangement on your account right away . Do you prefer electronic communication visit our website at u p c legal services .com Or just give us a call back at this number Oh thank you very much again. It is super important that we get this handled before you do anything else on the website address is u p c legal services .com It is urgent , thank you…”

I don’t have any accounts that I would need to make arrangements for at the moment. Google search of UPC legal services scam. Report to FTC and DOJ.gov

I'm experiencing a similar situation. They claimed that I owed a debt linked to a credit card number. However, when I verified the credit card number, it turned out to be invalid and not linked to any financial institution.

They called me at 7:14 am and left the message saying I had to go to their website and arrange payment. At the website they ask you to enter your Social Security #. Ya, not happening!

This company has made many attempts to contact my little brother and I, to get a hold of our mother. It is getting to be multiple times a day now, and when I call back to try and speak with someone, it is only a machine or Auto system.

Just wanted to let everyone know that this is 1 of 2 things. This is either a scam to capture your information or a retention of ancient debt beyond any legal threshold. The major red flag here is that their only contact information has been to go to their website and type in your SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER which appears to be malicious. There is no other means of contact. I highly recommend to BLOCK ALL contact with this scummy operation. Furthermore, I do not have any debt that has ever been sent to collections much less in bad standing. Therefore, treat this as a scam regardless of your situation.

I just received a call from (276) 244-6697 in Grundy, VA. A number I didn’t recognize so I let it go to voicemail. They left the following voice message.

“Yes, it is. This is a very, very very important. I received a call from 8667818637 that I did not answer. I received a voicemail in which a male states he is looking for my dead sister in order to collect a debt that she is being sued for. The man states to call 8667818637 to avoid any further legal issues. He also states visiting www.upclegalservices.com can resolve the issue. I viewed the site in a secure browser, but did not enter any information as it looked like a scam. I didn't call the 866 number either.
