Person called me as though they were an attorney for US Patent Trademark Office posing as an attorney trying to get me reclassify my trademark application due to a protest against the filing itself. I didn't realize there was a protest so I went through a long process with them to identify what I needed to change. Eventually they tried to bill me $1600. It wasn't till I reached the payment platform I noticed that it was fake. The email was US-pto-gov.com instead .gov and the payment platform was on app.ustrademarkexperts.com
