I advertised my car to sell and someone said they were interested in buying my car. They insisted that I run a VIN report using a particular site in order to make a trip to buy my car. The man who was texting me told me to go to vehiclesaudit.com. I had to put in an email and password and credit card number which they stole all that information. Something told me that something didn't seem right. The person never answered me back after I sent the report and I looked up the website on BBB.org and it was non-existent. I immediately contacted American Express and cancelled my card. The business was a scam. American Express couldn't find a business address from them either. I am worried about any identifying information they may have received.
