They offer to sell you a VIN Car report for $1, and when you pay the $1, they take $29.95 on top of that, and when you ask for the money back they say that don't do "one report" sales, and it clearly states that you get a report for $1

I was trying for my vehicle history. The site said ABSOLUTELY FREE. After I entered all my personal information, they asked for a $1.00 processing fee payable by credit card. I gave this and then tried to get on their CHAT. It took me to a site offering a free chat app. I immediately called my Credit Card company, they had already marked it as a scam and blocked the two amounts (I had allowed a $1.00 but nothing else). I've had to cancel my credit card, the company called me - I didn't answer and I've blocked the phone number. The phone # shown on my phone was 202-751-4073.

Website is advertised as a free or $1 VIN check but they keep your card information & continuously try to bill you $29.95 monthly. They state that they don't do zero or $1 VIN checks and it's only a monthy subscription, which is incorrect. I've requested multiple times via their site & over the phone to have my information removed but they continue to try to bill me. I provided my debut card number when making the intial purchase 4 months ago but they continued to attempt charging. My card has been replaced 3 times now with different card info but somehow they still get the details & try to charge me

I kept getting random charges of 29.95 after I tried to cancel my account with them. I initially paid $1 which was a big mistake as they stole my information to make fraudulent charges over and over.

This company needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY...Not only do they pop up in a Google search as "free" but, then, they list their cost per one vehicle history report as $1 each...UNTIL, you reach the checkout page where they sneakily add a small note that the $1 initial deposit will be followed by a $29.95 bi-weekly subscription.

Per FTC's ROSCA guidelines, subscription disclosures must be "clear and conspicuous" but, more specifically, a "visual disclosure, by its size, contrast, location, the length of time it appears, and other characteristics, should stand out from any accompanying text or other visual elements so that it is easily noticed, read, and understood"...Furthermore, the FTC defines an "inadequate disclosure" as "one where the consumer sees an offer upfront, in an electronic or written advertisement or on the landing page of a website, which is materially different from the terms of the offer presented in later stages, such as later web pages, of the ordering process" - this definition is the complete OPPOSITE of how this company conducts itself.

Unless you change your debit/credit card number, they will continue to charge you over and over again (under various company names) EVEN IF they've told you that your subscription has been cancelled...Some of these sister company names include: Track The Gene, FindTheirReport, TrackThatReport, ProReports, ValueReportEasy, Jammin Enterprises LLC, EXEC Vin Results, Citizen Scanner, TrackTheVin, TrackVinReport, Budget Vehicle Report, EZtechnologies LLC, Vehicle Report Systems, ZST, Vin History, Mrs Market, Shaylas Vin, GLobal informatics LLC, VinHistoryGo and so on...

ABSOLUTELY UNETHICAL AND DISPICABLE. Honestly, they don't even deserve the ONE star rating.
If it seems too good to be true, it most certainly is!!!

I got hit by this scam a couple of years ago like the other complaints here: $1 to check a VIN followed by a surprise $29.95 charge a few weeks later. I thought this was resolved, but this month, out of the blue, they did the same thing again even though I haven't even visited their site or thought about VINs in months. The first time felt like shady business practices; this time it's straight-up fraud. I disputed the charges, and now I have to cancel my credit card and update about a hundred autopayments with the new card info. Whoever runs this scam needs to rot in prison.

Claimed to provide free VIN report. Requested credit card info to download report. For that past several months, I have been charged $29.95 twice plus a $1 "processing" fee.

I attempted to do it $1 transaction fee for a VIN inspection and was approved for that got no information from the VIN inspection and then they tried to charge me $29.95 twice and i have another transaction that is pending for $4.95 but I have my card locked so it has not gone through. I then contacted the company via chat which I have the transcript from and they asked for multiple personal identification I told them no and that I wanted to call back because when I called their number I hung up on when I pressed billing issues and within minutes I got a email stating that my subscription had been canceled and that I would no longer be charged however I never gave them any of the information that they had asked for I just told them I wanted to call back again I have the transcripts from our chat if needed I also have the email that I

Vin history report was not sent or provider

I used the service years ago (about 4) and just got another bill for $29.95 labeled trackthatreport8

Same thing happened to me. Used the service three years ago (not terribly useful, as I recall), then cancelled, and just got charged. It's in as VEHICLE BUDGET REPORTS. $29.95. Calling my bank now.

Tried for a $1 free trial. Then the charged that and an additional $4.95. Tried to cancel the trial the only option for that was thru a chat bot

Said they offered a free vin service with a 1 dollar service fee, but nothing came back on the report. Later find out they charged me 30 dollars to my debit card without my knowledge or consent.

They refunded the first $29.95 they charged in June (only after multiple requests and threatening to report to BBB) then they charged me again this month and refused to refund and then they also charged $4.95 even though there is nowhere on their website that says that they have any service or product for $4.95 they change the company that is debiting/charging your account, phone number and email address to try to confuse things but its the same scammy company.

I saw a transaction on my bank statement from “vehicle budget reports 713-360-1933 FL” for $1. I’ve never used VIN search site and was randomly charged

A whole network of scam sites run by the same people:
vinhistoryusa.com
houseappraisals.net
personalitylab.net
iqrank.net
personius.net

All sites use the same scam scheme. The sites do not provide any useful information. A real estate report can be made to a non-existent address, a car report can be made to a non-existent car, a person report can be made to a non-existent person.
In addition, unauthorized debiting of money in excess of the declared one or more dollars is used. Usually it's $29.95 for what's called a subscription. They will not return anything even after contacting them. Ordinary scammers.
All sites are registered with the same domain name registrar through the Withheld for Privacy service. Websites list phone numbers that no one answers.
The website vinhistoryusa.com shows the address of the office - of course, there is no one there, this is a virtual office https://www.premierworkspaces.com/california/beverly-hills.

I attempted to obtain a VIN Report; the website states that it will cost $1.00 per report. I looked up a VIN and was reported Invalid. I got an e-mail stating that the VIN that I entered was invalid and to try again at no cost. I tried my own car (knowing that this car had and accident) and I got the report. My Credit Card notified me that there were three separate charges, from three different entities, two for $1.00 and another for $29.95. NO ONE informed me that there would be a charge for $29.95.

I contacted the merchant through their website Chat (made a copy of the whole Chat) and they replied that a ticked had been issued and that the issue would be cleared up within three business days.

I went to the website attempting to buy a full vehicle history report based on the VIN of my vehicle. It said the initial report was free - then became a $1 fee. I entered my info and all of a sudden they attempted to charge my credit card $29.95, repeatedly. Fortunately, my cc company flagged it, and I denied the charge. After I finalized my purchase, a shady waiver page came up, asking you to release them from all liability, lawsuits etc. TOTAL SCAM, and I fell for it. Someone needs to stop these fools. -Lisa

The website advertises free vehicle history reports, but charges $1 for the report. I used my debit card to pay the $1. The report was not useful. Two days later, I have saw a charge on my account for $4.95 from Vehicle Budget Reports Miami US. I went back to their website and requested a cancellation. Hopefully I will not receive further charges.

- Salado, TX, USA

So far, they've stolen $308.55. They charge $29.95 and $1.00 to my account every two weeks. I cannot get them to stop!
