I got a call from a lady named Catherine Carpenter who said people have been trying to reach me to give me a $9000 grant. If I sent $200 in google play cards from Walmart then I would receive my tracking number and the grant would be sent to me. She said the faster I sent the money the faster the grant would come. She kept giving me a ton of information about it but when I called ScamPulse.com they said that was just a distraction to make me think it was a legit grant.

While messaging a person on Messenger I was asked if I had received a call from Federal Government Department of Workers Compensation Appeals Board. She said she paid for case file fees and delivery fees , they have so many options, I would need to choose one. I paid $1000 and received $15,000. I should text the agent and he will let me know more about this. I was to let him know a friend told me about this. And she said "it ain't a scam and it is for real". 'It's like a compensation fund. Have you heard from them" 'Have you been contacted by the WCAB?"

I was also contacted by a man identifying himself as Michael Mullins an employee of the Federal department of Health and human resources and that the federal government department of workers compensation appeals board had a check for $100,000 for me. It was a referral on Facebook from an old class schoolmate from 1974 who referred him to me and she stated she had received her check and it had cashed. He requested my personal information which I eventually supplied him with my social security number and my bank account numbers. This has been going on since February and the other day he said I had to open a trust bank account. I then contacted a very smart friend of mine and he pulled this alert of a scam regarding this subject. I'm trying to report this to them but the referring website is so convoluted I don't know which one to go to. How do I stop this?

One of my friends on Facebook contacted me and was telling me about how a man from the WCAB workers compensation appeals board gave her $30,000 cash and that my name was also on this federal government list. She told me to contact a man named matchap b Brett and he would help me claim my money. They were asking for my personal information, a pic of my drivers license and a $400 delivery fee. Then they wanted my Facebook password to verify my account and then they changed my password and locked me out putting my email address as [email protected] which they made themselves. The friend who was telling me everything was ok turned out to be them, they had taken over her Facebook too.
