I filled out an applicstio for the company thinking they were legit. I have been wrongfully fired from my last job and am desperate for work. Today I received a text message asking me to spesk to Thomas Brooks via Teams. I followed the instructions and this "manager" reached out to me and started interviewing me via Teams chat. Eventually I found out it was a scam because the text said the position was Claims Support Associate position and the manager was tslking about a Customer Service position. They were offering $25 an hour for 45 hrs a week. The training was only 5 days. I would also ask questions like what about the other positions open and they continued with the first option. I then asked for proof that this was a real company and the person on the other end stopped typing. I told them I would be reporting them.
