Scammer repeatedly contacted me by text saying that my (nonexistant) loan request had come through and that they were trying to follow up. The text always comes from a short code (401-58) rather than a full number.

Text Message from 40158. Says: "Hi Kimberly, this is Alexis from CNFI USA. I see that you recently requested a loan for 40,000. I was able to get you preapproved. Do you have a few mins to discuss next steps? You can also reach us on (844) 699 3623."

I didn't apply for a loan and my credit is all frozen, so I shouldn't be approved for anything. I also get 2-3 spam phone calls a day about loan applications I never took out.
