A received a call from 1-234-380-8410 (used *69 to find the number) at about 6:00 PM EST (4 March 2021).

There was a robot voice saying there was a suspicious purchase on my AMAZON VISA credit card. I should call 1-314-380-9410 to cancel the purchase.

I checked b\my Amazon credit card. I still had it.

I called the real Amazon people at 1-888-283-1190. They told me that it was a scam since the Amazon workers is not allowed to name Amazon on the call. I left them only the 314-380-9410 number.

I then used *69 to get the sender number 234-380-8410.

I did not give the Scammer any personal information. However, I decided to inform Better Business Burea anyway.

On 3/4/21 following an Amazon online order for $30 I had a phone call "unavailable" caller ID saying Amazon had received an order for $199.99. If I had not ordered this they left a phone # to call with an area code of 214. They said this was being charged to my VISA (which I don't have). I did not answer the phone nor did I return the call as I realized it was a scam.

The scammer said there was an issue with an order of a Macbook refurbished on my Amazon account and they wanted to make sure I authorized the purchase. I gave a fake email address and they asked if I had an Amazon account to which I replied no. They then asked if I shopped online at all and I again replied no. They asked me to go to Amazon.com on my computer and I said it's my work computer and I'm not allowed to access sites that are not work-related. The caller then hung up on me.

I received a call regarding an Amazon account problem. I was asked to press 1 to talk to a representative who asked me a question and I responded yes. He then let me know that I said yes and he hung up.

Have received 3 packages never ordered. Reported to Amazon but they continue

First, the robocall from "Amazon" saying that my account had suspicious activity and that I shouldn't log onto my account from any device. Next, the caller insisted that I called them and that my Amazon account was logged in on 3 different devices in 3 different states. I guess that I asked too many questions because the caller got frustrated and threatened to do things that I'd rather not repeat.

A caller claiming to be from Amazon told me that there was an unusual purchase on my Amazon account and wanted to verify it with me. I told him it was definitely not me. He then asked me to go to my computer and he would help me complete some forms. I told him to send me the forms by email because I know Amazon has my email. He then hung up. I called Amazon directly and it seems this is a scam. They told me to report it to Anti-Fraud in my country (Canada). I tried on the Anti-fraud website and in order to report a scam I would need to log in using my bank account login, which seems like another scam to me although it did look like an official Canadian Government site. So, I didn't go any further as it's baffling to me why my banking login has anything to do with lodging a fraud complaint. So, I'm reporting it to you instead. Thanks.

Consumer was called on 3/1/2021 by a male with an accent claiming to be an Amazon representative. The caller stated that charges of over $1000 were charged to his Amazon account which they believed to be fraudulent. If the consumer did not provide them with information, the charges would not be able to be reversed. The consumer told the caller that he had not ordered anything, got the number of the caller, and hung up.

Yesterday I received five phone calls on my home phone within two hours from Amazon. I know it is a scam. I answered the first call. The only reason I answered is because the phone number was similar to mine. The same exchange as mine. They mentioned Amazon Customer Service and I hung up. I don't have an account with Amazon. The other messages were so garbled I could not understand them. The two numbers in my caller ID were 440-871-1058 and 440-871-1954. I tried to call one of the numbers back and it was disconnected. I wanted to warn others about this scam.

This person called pretending to be with Amazon. He said his name was Austin and he was calling to alert me of a suspicious $700 purchase. I don't have an Amazon account, so it confused me at first, but then I realized that he was trying to get my personal information. I ended the call right away. My bank account confirmed that there was no $700 charge. (Where you ask if he attempted to take money, I didn't give him a chance as soon as I realized that he was a fraud.

I answered a call on my home phone from Amazon. What was strange the caller had my full name and my husbands full name. He said somebody in Alabama charged $1500 to our account. We do not have an Amazon account. The caller wanted to know how to get the money back to me. I asked them to just credit my account. He said we can't do that. I did not provide any personal information. I do not have the number that called. We do not have caller ID.

Someone called me with a recorded message about Amazon Customer Service reporting action on my credit card account, Which I DON'T have. When I redialed the number 1-866-411-2221 I was connected with the L.A. ScamPulse.com office.

Robo call claiming to be Amazon Fraud Department. Claimed someone using my Amazon account purchased items costing over $800. Instructed to call number if I didn’t make this order. I was told to call 866-387-8360. I did not fall for this phishing attempt, but wanted to report it.

It was basically a phone call. It felt as if they were trying to fish for information. There was a pre-recorded message staining that the company Amazon was processing an order for electronics that was ordered by myself the amount of 200 some odd dollars. It says if you did not authorized this purchase to press the number two. Someone comes on the line and attempts to gain my information. I told them to give me my information since they're the ones that called me. they sat on the other end of the phone smacking on gum and not answering any of my questions. It felt completely fishy.
