Lady calling about delivering a package. She waits until you say ok to get you to sign up for something.

- Dallas, GA, USA

The call came from a local number. A lady asked if this was, insert name, I responded yes thinking it was my children's school.

- Alpharetta, GA, USA

They tried to get me to say yes.

- Snellville, GA, USA

I received a recorded call from this number today trying to get me to answer "yes" to questions.

Recorded message from "Angie" saying she is from some type of security agency, asking if "you can hear me ok"?

It waits for any response and then hangs up. Most likely looking for a "yes" response to record and use for fraudulent charges. This message has called me repeatedly for about 3 months. Sometimes 5-6 times a day. If you block the number, they just call from a different number.

It would be nice if these [censored]s would be shut down and thrown in jail.

Hello my name is Elizabeth calling..... (proceeds to want you to say yes to agree to credit cards or to use your agreement)....

Can you hear me?

Calls repeat from Bremen, GA but # changes each time. I answered once and said No. They offered to put on Do Not Call list. I immediately hung up.

- Hiram, GA, USA

Got a call from 504-605-0633 they initially asked for my Michael and I said wrong number they then said I may be able to help and were sending out packs for you to contribute to veterans and the VA for vets from Afghanistan. They wanted to know if they could send me a sponsor packet to look over I said I usually don't do anything over the phone but then I said yes go ahead and then they hung up. I immediately got a bad feeling about that and thought of the scam about saying yes. So now I am very worried.

- Winterville, GA, USA

Caller asked for me by name, and I responded, "This is she." He said he was raising money for the DAV and asked if I would make a donation. I said I would consider it, so he offered me a choice of color coded envelopes, red for $100, white for $50, or blue for $20. I chose blue, then he repeatedly asked, "Would that be OK?" I realized that he was trying to get me to say "Yes" so I hung up.

I received a call on my landline from an unknown number. I answered the call and was asked "Is this Ms. xxxxx?" I answered "yes" and they hung up. I'd heard about the "yes" phone scam and should have known better than to answer the phone.

- Acworth, GA, USA

I believe this is the "yes" scam.

When I answered, the caller asked if I could hear them and I said yes. Then I realized they were not any business I recognized and hung up.

They muffled the greeting so asking if I could hear seemed appropriate.

Robotic calls with the exact same female voice and is calling from several different phone numbers including this one also: 770-427-7903. She begins by saying, "Oh, hello, are you there? You've stayed at one our resorts recently..." Then I hang out not listening to anymore of the message. These are SO annoying and if an elderly person answered, they'd really think that it was an actual person talking. These calls vary, sometimes one call from 1 number, then an hour later..the same call from a different number.

- Mcdonough, GA, USA

They called stating I was chosen to receive an all inclusive stay at their hotel. There were two prompts. Press one to continue, press two to be removed. When connected to someone, I was asked if I was over 18. After I said yes, a message saying the number dialed was incorrect and to hang up.

- Marietta, GA, USA

This scam number is a robot, calls every week! It says I've stayed at one of their resorts recently and I've won a free vacation at one of their resorts. The number has the same area code as my home phone, and on the caller id it says, "out of area". So sometimes I answer by mistake because I only see the area code first, thinking it's someone we know..

- Roswell, GA, USA

This call began with 'can you hear me' and I unfortunately said 'yeah' in a low voice, but he said he could not hear me and would call back. He called back and I did not answer the second time, and he did not leave a message.

Foriegn accent called and said my name and said can you hear me I said yeah not thinking. Then asked how I was doing and hung up

- Atlanta, GA, USA

I think I was just the victim of a scam phone calling getting me to say 'YES'.
