Credit Card Services Reports & Reviews (112)

Described themselves as the credit card services company. When asked what company - they claimed to be calling from Bank of America. I have no accounts open with Bank of America, upon hearing this the person on the other line immediately hung up.

- Palm Springs, CA, USA

I received a call from this credit card service, they said that they work with visa, mastercard, discover and american express. They called my number that is on the National Do Not Call Registry and later lied saying they did not call me. Into the call they refused to answer questions about my accounts. I asked for an explanation of their relationship with my current financial services providers and they could not provide a clear explanation of what they were offering, how they would do that, how they were paid and what the follow up process would be with my providers. The tier 1 phone consultant then passed me on to a "financial advisor" who couldn't provide any answers to these questions either and then got nasty, rude and even called me names. At no point in the call did I ever say or ask anything inappropriate, so a bit horrified when a "manager" got ugly. Leaving me few options, I asked the manager to place me on their do not call list and he lied again saying they didn't call me, then refused to put me on their do not call list. I hung up. Then called back the number from which they called me (323-854-1054) only to find this number owned by someone else (a girl named Molly, I think). Molly said I had the wrong number and hung up. I called her back and left a voicemail indicating her number was being used illegally by Credit Card Services & that she should call her phone provider and address the issue.

I received a call from this # ( 1-800-421-2110) and caller said he was from Credit Card Services. Said that he was wanting to lower my interest rates on my credit cards, said he could see that I have been making payments on time and was paying more than the Min. each month. Asked how much I owed, then asked if this was on a Master Card or Visa. I told him it was a Visa, he asked for the expiration date which I gave him. Then he asked me to verify the # on the card starting with 4. ( which all Visa cards start with 4 and Master cards start with a 5, if I am not mistaken) He got irritated with me when I asked his name and ask him to verify my information, I would not give him my card # and kept asking him questions. After some time of going back and forth and he could tell that I was not going to fall for this scam he said that this was Bull[censored] and hung up

Answered phone after 10 second wait an Indian man who was very hard to understand came on the line saying he wanted to lower my credit card interest rate to less than 6%. After stating I don't have a credit card he kept going to tell me that my bank issued me a credit card. Upon asking for more information regarding my supposed credit card he hung up on me.

I called the number back and after ringing for awhile it went to a voice mail for "Lisa Morgan." I left "Lisa" a voicemail but she never returned my call.

This is a scam! They know nothing about you and kept you to give them your credit information.

Today(9/25/2017) We have been contacted 5 times by various phones numbers. All "Hi I'm Kristy! Here to lower your credit cards interest rate". We then just hang up. THEY WON'T STOP calling. They have called from 5 different numbers today alone! I have given all the numbers in this Scam Report to The BBB. I hope that The ScamPulse.com post all 5 numbers with this Report.

- Decatur, IN, USA

Caller claimed to be from Credit Card Services. I asked to be placed on their do not call list and they asked to put me on hold to do that.

As I was busy heading out the door for work, I said "alright" without thinking of it. They have an affirmative response from me now on record although nothing has came of it yet.

I have received several phone calls from: Rachel (Credit Card Services) automated message. I do not have any credit cards. I finally pressed 1 to speak with a representative but they hung up on me. This is the phone #: 208-725-8226. It comes up on my caller ID as "Local". I called back & of course there is no one that you can talk to...automated message said to press 3 for a representative & you can only leave a message.

- Franklin, WI, USA

I have told this company to stop calling me, twice in the past two weeks. Today, I asked the man on the phone where "Credit Card Services" is located and he responded, "Mumbai, India." I said, "Please remove me from your phone lists as I am on the Do Not Call list. You should not be calling me! I do not want these calls." He very calmly replied in a heavy Indian accent, "Well Ma'am, we cannot remove you from our lists." "We are located in India and do not have any such do not call lists. In fact, if I removed you, it would be illegal here." I told him he should be checking with the U.S. Do Not Call list before calling! He said that is not going to happen. I said "Shame on you. I am reporting you and your call" and I hung up. This is the third call from this same number in the last two weeks that I received. I only answer it because it SO similar to my own cell phone number as well as my 12 year old daughter's. **The call starts with an automated recording saying "I am calling about your credit cards. There is nothing wrong. We want to help you lower your percentage rates." It doesn't give you an option of "opting out" - it only allows you to press "9" to speak with someone. When you press 9, you can clearly tell it is a phone bank of sorts and you can hear others with the same heavy accents calling other unsuspecting innocent consumers.

I have been getting calls to reduce the interest rates on my credit cards if I had over $5,000 in unsecured debt. They were using a cell phone. I got a call yesterday and today. I just hung up on them. They were using a 541-913-xxxx number.

- Chicago, IL, USA

The service called my cell phone which is on the do not call last. When I asked to be taken off their list, the caller hung up. However, they keep calling and asking for my ss#

This number has continued to call me over the past several months from "credit card services" This time I spoke to someone why they continued to call me. They stated that they had my credit report and wanted to know what credit cards I had out of a list of them. I stated if they had my information then they should know that. I then asked that they not call me again and was told "[censored] You" by the representative and they hung up.

They call and say they can reduce your credit card interest rates - slash is the word they use. I try to interrupt them to tell them I am on the do not call list and they should not be calling me. They keep talking - friendly, annoyingly so, female voice. I start to yell to get them to stop. They keep going on and on. I then scream into the phone and they keep talking. Clearly they are about to ask for important and sensitive info and they are a robot !

- Bellaire, OH, USA

This company along with a vacation company are hacking into personal cell phone numbers and calling them to telemarket. People answer because it's our area code amd if you try to call it back the actual person who's phone they hacked amswers and is clueless. Is there anything we can do. It's happening to everyone in this area. All hours of the day and night. Thank you.

- Helena, MT, USA

This "business" has called me excessively, even somehow after I have blocked all the numbers, to consolidate and repair my credit card debt, which I have NONE. I have asked them to stop calling repeatedly. They always say "they have been trying to reach me and this is the last call..." I'm so irritated. When I ask them to remove me from their call list they hang up on me.

- Pasadena, CA, USA

Robocaller asks "can I ask you a few questions", prompting caller to say "yes", which then the reply is recorded and possibly used to authorize fraudulent charges via telephone, according to the FCC.

- Grand Forks, ND, USA

I have received several telephone calls from "Credit Card Services" telling me that if I would change to a different card service, I "could save thousands of dollars"; which is impossible since my credit card debt is quite low. Each time they call it is supposedly a Grand Forks business; once they used the name of a local Accounting business. I have not given out any information, nor have I asked for details. I am more concerned about other senior citizens being conned by these people. I have put my name/number on the "do not call" list, which does not seem to help much.

- Claxton, GA, USA

Credit Card Services representatives called my phone asking about credit card debt. They wanted personal information that I wouldn't provide, plus when I told them I wasn't interested they continued to call back 40 times plus. No regards to me not being interested. They continue to harasse you with dozens of phone calls daily.

- Napoleon, OH, USA

I recieved a call from a man with a foreign accent stating he was from "Credit Card Services." he told me that I always pay my credit card on time and I have good credit and I sometimes I pay more than my minimum required.Which card has the largest balance, Visa, MC, Chase etc. well for paying your payments on time we are going to reduce your interrest rate. how does that sound? you would like that wouldn't you? When you make your payments on time every month for 6 mo. we then lower your rate to 0%. Then I litterally accidently dropped my phone off my shoulder and it cut him off.

I looked it up and seen it was a SCAM so others should be warned they are arround and they are on the loose calling everybody they can get !!!

I stopped before any info was given.
