I lost my job in March. Ellevis reached out to me set up an phone interview and advised I would be a 3rd party shipper making $4000.00 a month part time. My first paycheck would be within 45 days and it would be a paper check mailed to me. During the process I did the shipping at no cost to me Small items. I then was asked to open a business account with one of 3 banks. I chose Bank of America. They needed $100.00 to open the account. I opened it using my debit card. I kept the documents and advised the person I spoke with David, that I was charged the $100.00 he advised I would be re-imbursed on my check. After opening the account there was no contact. I received a phone call once a week for 4 weeks telling me the client would be making payment and I needed to be on the look out in my dashboard and email. After 3 weeks I contacted them and the a woman spoke to me, the first time I ever spoke to her, she advised that I would be paid the following week. The week of July 31, I received a call from David advising that I would be paid this week and the client would be making payment. As of 8/3, I had no contact. I reached out via email and text to both numbers and the two emails I had advising I had not been paid and I was requesting my check be overnighted and that I receive information on setting up benefits and on setting up direct deposit. Later on the evening of 8/3, with no contact my access was not accepted to log into my dashboard. I have two email addresses: [email protected] and [email protected]. I also have two phone numbers: 646 583 1746 and 404 382 9083.

I applied for a job and he messaged me on LinkedIn telling me to submit my resume to an email. I did and he responded with the job, its duties, benefits, ect. Eventually he offered me the job and I accepted. He then sent me a check for supplies and first weeks pay. He wanted me to buy equipment from this company with it but the check was for more than the equipment would have cost. I only realized this was a scam after I had deposited the check.

I applied for a job giving my resume that has all of my work history, education, email address, home address, name , and phone number.

the scammer sent multiple emails, trying to offer me employment. he used 3 email addresses so far : [email protected] ; [email protected] ; mailto:[email protected] ; with this info : Personnel Manager Franco Magro tel: (646) 397-0790 Philadelphus, S.r.l. , the scammer wanted all of my personal information, including age. on the employment form it said the CEO is Lea Comella and the company is located in Via marco polo, 8, 20124 Milano italy VAT no . IT 04439410962 and they wanted me to choose a payment method of your salary: Business bank account or Personal bank account

I was contacted via email from a company that found my resume on a website and stated that my experience fit their requirements. And to apply if I was interested further.

I did and worked for this company for 28 days and that’s when the red flags started. They stopped calling and responding to any correspondence. I canceled the account that I had given and no money was lost. Just time and energy for a complete scam. I will be filing a lawsuit for my time lost.

The first text I have received stated "I am Christian from Fortive Corporation, we are very pleased with your listed qualifications on ( ATS Platform) and would like to conduct and online interview for the open position of (Data Entry Specialist). The Pay-rate is $25/hr. training is $15 this is strictly an online work from home job. will you have any issues working from home?" After texting Christian for a bit, he redirected me to speak with the hiring manager via Microsoft Teams with the link (https://teams.live.com/l/invite/FAArCzqVL2bg9FtpgE) Once connected I was texting Samuel Sullivan and he conducted an interview via chat (texting) on Microsoft Teams. After I answered all of his questions he stated that he will relay the details of my interview to Admin Desk for review and asked for my email.

They offered a job to be an "order coordinator" which meant that they set packages to me and then I would relabel and ship them out. I had a website for logging the packages an I was put under a probation period which meant that I worked for 30 days then I got paid and had to wait to see if I would be made a permanent worker at the company. They said they would pay me by a check in the mail but it never came and I am pretty sure they blocked my email so I can't contact them. I also have another email for payroll stuff, [email protected] and their name was Marie Spencer. I also have a contact of my curator who gave me orders and answered any questions I had, [email protected] and their phone number is (213) 973-6793. Also the job offer was remote work but on their website they had positions in the state of California.

I was offered an online remote work from home position as a technical writer for Kapstone Tech and I was contacted by James Van Holts through email and GoogleChat about further action with employment. I was issued checks to be deposited into my bank account to be sent to third party vendors including Vivian Johnson ($Johnsonviv) and Bunmi Bakare ($bunmibakare) to pay for equipment that would be delivered to my current residential address. I have included their cash tags from CashApp. I have contacted my bank and CashApp services about this matter and am waiting for further action to be taken place. I would like to get this issue resolved. Thank you.

They asked me to use the app Telegram for an interview. Then had me answer questions. While waiting for the response back the company is in Israel

Received a text to log into Teams for a job interview. I applied for a remote data entry job on Linkedin. Standard interview questions until I was asked for what bank I affiliate with. I have never been asked this question so early in an interview and this personal information is usually processed with Human Resources once hired. That was my red flag. I immediately started to research Thams Nabib and this whole interview via teams texting and found this complaint on BBB. I also called Parker House and asked if they were hiring and they said no. This is really sad that such scams are out there and are reachable through a reliable source such as Linkedin. I confronted Thomas about the ScamPulse.com complaint and havent heard back. Additionally I found a Thomas Nabib on Facebook and he is a child. Not sure what is going on.

I was contacted via text to download Telegram app for my interview.

I downloaded the app and as we went through the interview I noticed grammatical errors and misspelled words.

Plus the job seemed too good to be true. As we proceeded with the interview, she told me that I would work for 14 days before receiving any contact information. The below is a message received from the HR lady.

“Benefits: Health, Dental, Life and AD&D Insurance, Employee Wellness and 401k plans. Paid Time Off and Holidays with Generous Company Discounts. And yes you can have your family on it. Lastly, Company handles gas mileage used for company errands and Internet bills.

Bonuses: You will be enrolled for this benefits after a period of 1-2 months of working with us. We are going to be communicating through this messenger till after 14 days of working with us, after then once we are done updating our website a user and pass to our website will be given to you including a link to our server. Also after then list of contact phone numbers to various departments will be sent to you.”

My red flags were flying and I hope this helps someone else to be aware that job postings could be scammers in disguise.

Initial contact via text message on 7/26/23 from "Heather Guidry" of Supernus Pharmaceuticals in response to my resume. Offer of data entry/customer service representative interview if interested. When I replied I was interested, asked if I could work from home, and if I had access to the program Microsoft Teams. When I replied that I did not, I was provided a link to utilize Teams to communicate with the hiring manager, "Andrew Wilkins". Once I downloaded the MS Teams app to my iPhone, "Andrew Wilkins" texted me on 7/27/23 with information about the company and the open position. He requested an interview via text which included widely-used interview questions. Once the text interview was concluded, "Andrew Wilkins" stated that he'd share my responses with his team and to be prepared for an answer the following morning at 9am EST. On 7/28/23 at 9:05am EST I was offered the position and told that an email with the offer letter and necessary HR documents would be sent immediately, which they were. The email was from "Annette Morales", Talent Acquisition Specialist, and included a blank W4 form, blank I-9 form, and 5-page offer letter signed by Jack Khattar, Chairman. Later the same day, I utilized a local Staples location for printing the blank documents as well as scanning all 3 completed and signed documents to email them back to "Annette Morales". The receipt of my email and documents was confirmed by her, and I sent a Teams text to "Andrew Wilkins" that I had emailed all documents. He asked me to be available on 7/31/23 at 8:30am PST to go over more details of the job offer. Today, 7/31/23 at 9:40am PST, "Andrew Wilkins" texted me via MS Teams. He texted, "The company has decided to issue the check in form of an E-check which will be emailed to you. All you need do is print it out and cut to size then deposit with your bank mobile feature, that way you'll have funds available for use." I was informed during the interview texting that these funds would be provided for the purchase of all necessary equipment, including a laptop, printer/scanner/fax, desk, etc. I'm reporting all of this BEFORE receiving the email containing the E-check.
