My mistake was I didn’t go to the main site directly and I went back to their link: https://tinyurl.com/4tvseeat. I gave my SSN but did not pay for anything.

Job post in local job posting network in Puerto Rico. I applied for a mystery shopper job, he contacted me via email and told me about the position, and asked for my information to send the first job packages. It arrived via USPS postal service in a priority mail envelope. There was a letter explaining my duties and a check for the amount of $ 1,450 to buy gift cards, send them the gift card back photo with a pin number, and then used those gift cards to go mystery shopping, and I got to keep $400 weekly form that $1,450.

I was told I was selected for an interview. They had me download an app called Ring Central. They asked me questions via a chat. I found this odd. They told me I was hired and they were sending me a check for equipment. I was to purchase it, return the receipts and send the. A check back for left over. I felt in my gut this wasn’t right. So I called the actual company Pediatrix. They said that this is a scam. The name they used Jeannie Perez-Walker is an actual HR person. But this is not her. They aren’t hiring for an Admin position work from home.

Started with a text message from the number 408-539-1119 with the person stating they were Yeteva who stated they received my wife's resume but never submitted one to her knowledge on the Indeed website. Person stated they work for Enpro Industries and was offering a $30/hr job doing remote data entry. The person got my wife to download the Wire Secure Messenger App. Once installed the person wanted my wife to tell them when it was done. She was then given a person to message on the app with username:@kathrynalphin with interview code (KOL-22). On the app my wife reached out to that person who stated they were the interview manager of Enpro Industries. After my wife told me this I looked that person up but found no one on linkedin by that name. Wife proceeded to do a text based interview. Which included in giving the job verification code of KOL-22. My wife provided her cell and state information. The person then ask if my wife was a US Citizen, Canadian Citizen or a green-card holder. It then proceeded like a normal job interview with the typical this is what the job entails. They then provided an overview about the company. They then provided a link to their company website www.enproindustries.com located at 5606 Carnegie Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28209. They wanted my wife to visit the website during the interview. Per a cybersecurity search the site came back clean so my wife proceeded with the interview. They offered my wife $25 for training and then $30/hr after that if she answered the next 14 questions in 5 -10 minutes to secure the position. First set: 1. What type of jobs have you had? 2. How did you get your previous job? 3. What were your main responsibilities? 4. Are you currently employed? 5. Are you willing to work flexible or long hours? 6. What do you understand by privacy and code of conduct? 7. What motivates you and What is your greatest professional achievement? Second Set: 8. How long do you intend working for this company? 9. How would you like to be Paid ? Weekly or Bi-Weekly/Direct deposit 10. What Financial institution do you operate with and how long? To see if it tallies with the company's salary account. 11. Do you have a HP laser jet printer, copier and scanner? 12. How much training do you think you'll require to become a productive employee? 13.What phone carrier are you with and how long? (b) Post paid or prepaid plan? 14. Where do you expect to be in 5 years time and what will you do if you are not successful in gaining this position? My wife answered all of these questions. Even about the banking and phone carrier. After the questions phase the person stated the following: "Great. You have done impressively well answering all the questions. If you are considered to work for the Company, you will receive a payment. You will use this payment to set up your mini office at home by purchasing your office equipment plus the shipping logistics, which are what you need to start working with. Can the company ensure your full trust, commitment and diligence?" The person continues: "Alright. I need to forward our conversation to the Company head department to enable them to see if you are qualified for the job. This will be all for now, Our next appointment will be scheduled for tomorrow morning at 8:00AM your time. You are expected to send a message to me on here for your job update and consideration. Note: Punctuality displays a person's respect for people and time. Enjoy the rest of your day and Stay Safe!"

This email will briefly outline the most important information about the position you applied for. Please review it attentively for it will most likely answer all of the questions you have.

Duties and responsibilities:

Being hired as a Content Manager presupposes that you will be fully and solely responsible for all company's activity on social media. You'll be leading company's profiles on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube and so on. This includes working on two directions.

On the one hand, you will be fully in charge of the content. You will have to create the content, publish it and manage it online. Naturally you will have to resort to help of various specialists working with 3D graphic design, creation of logos and promotional videos so that they help you with the content, yet all written content will be on you. Thus, for example, you may need to order a short advertising video of our organization, specify exactly what it should look like and then post it online yourself when and where needed. On the other hand, you'll be working with clients and all their comments, feedback and messages online.

Naturally, we are going to train you at first for you to have a grasp of what you need to know. So initially you'll be working under my personal supervision. I'll be helping you and guiding you through the initial stages of your employment with us. Initially, I am going to give you less difficult tasks, just for you to get used to it and increase your knowledge about both social media and our company. Then I will be increasing their difficulty and volume, and eventually you will start working fully yourself. During the first couple of months I will be in charge of your training, so I will be the one who will be giving you your assignments, directions and guidelines, and all other information that you will need in order to do your job. I'll be definitely giving you all instructions how to do everything, just for you to better understand the process, but in case you need my help or you have questions you may call me, text me or email me. I usually work from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST Monday-Friday, so this is the time frame when you can call me.

Schedule:

The position is part-time with no fixed schedule attach to you. In general you'll be requested to work a couple of hours every day weekends included, so it makes about 10-12 hours per week. We can't give you a fixed schedule because social media required your attention throughout the day, so in general you'll be working a couple of hours every day, no particular time attached. It gives you the chance to make your own schedule, just make sure to work during the day time.

Payment:

As for your compensation, it consists of the salary and additional commission, so it's salary + commission. The salary is $4100.00 per month, it'll be always paid monthly by paper check which will be mailed to you. The salary is paid every month on the same day when you get officially hired, i.e. every 30 days. Your commission is 5% from the budget we spend on our promotional needs, i.e. the better you work and the more you promote our company the bigger budget we will have to allocate for and thus the higher your commission is going to be. This way you will be personally interested in having better results! But the commission is paid separately, it's not paid together with the salary, it's paid to you every time you get financial support from our company for the promotional needs which is going to be more or less bi-weekly. So once again, the salary is monthly and the commission is throughout the month.

Besides, you will be hired as a 1099 employee, so both the salary and the commission are before taxes, and you do your taxes yourself. 1099 tax form will be forwarded to you once a year, when it is time to report taxes.

Please bear in mind that during the initial training period you are paid the same salary and the same commission as always. The only difference is that you will be working under my supervision for me to help you master necessary set of skills.

Benefits package:

As far as the employment agreement goes, you will have the following benefits:

- 20 days of paid vacation per year;

- all state holidays (such as Independence Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving and so on) are always days-off, so we never work on holidays and we never call customers on holidays because it's not professional;

- possibility to take 14 extra days of unpaid vacation.

The whole situation seemed fake. They offered me a job without any interview, took days to get back to me about the job offer but replied to me in the weekend saying they couldn’t respond to me because of a mysterious medical emergency they aren’t allowed to disclose. I went along skeptical, but provided my full name, gender, dob, address, and cell number and email. They told me I needed a telegram account before I could be in contact through the company email, even though I was given a company email initially. The message sent screamed scam. They sent a video of a woman who looked like she was being held hostage and reading a vague script. My name wasn’t mentioned, the company, and none of it seemed professional for a bio tech company. Through LinkedIn, they only have 2 employees who you cannot view. The HR rep (Elizabeth Willson) was no where to be found on LinkedIn either, or any real credentials of the company online. It wasn’t until I googled the vague email “[email protected]” that I found this page with the exact same experience I had. Thankfully I was skeptical that I never provided any other crucial personal information.

I received an email for work from home employment. Soon after a phone call interview, which was very breif and mainly for my current employment information. I have attempted to find contact information for this company VIA the website and non is listed. i was also sent a employment contract with the address listed. When I google search said address it shows me JP Morgan and a Hotel. They are requesting I fill out a W-4 tax form which does look the the indiana w-4 form. However I do not want to fill out this form until I am certain is a legitimate business. I have requested proof of business and am currently waiting the response

I am writing to you as a worker at AppsChopper, Extension code SGAV2R, since I received training last Friday and Saturday, June 2 and 3 by Sophia, phone number 585 209-3496. I was working on the platform without any issues for 3 days. On the 4th day, Thursday, June 8th, I ran into a combination task that was far in excess of what I had available on my platform. It was back to back tasks of 1224 USDT and 1800 USDT. I had at the time 1276 USDT on the platform, so my account went negative to -1729.35. I contacted Sophia and Customer service for help with this as I had never encountered it nor was told that this could happen.

Your rules on the platform: 5.6 “In order to protect the interests of users, the amount of this application will increase according to the total balance of the account, and the income will increase accordingly.” At the time of the 1800 USDT task I did not have anywhere near 1800 USDT on the platform. And 6.5 “The system will randomly assign Combination tasks to user accounts according to the total balance range of the user account.” Today, after clearing the deficit in good faith, relying upon all the messages from Customer service and Sophia that all would be cleared, I cleared the 1800 task and was immediately hit with a 3880 USDT Task, I did not have 3980 on my platform, I had 176.85 USDT. I have a screenshot of this to prove it.

I am going to the FBI, and the local police to file a compliant against you and your companies for larceny, unless this is resolved immediately. And by resolved, I mean that you will return all of my funds immediately. The original 1276 USDT plus the commissions, the 1800 USDT I deposited today and all commissions that were to be paid on this account. It appears that your company has set up a salary scheme that can never be achieved as this would continue to escalate into the stratosphere, taking my account deeper and deeper into the hole; since I had only completed 1 task and it immediately took me negative again. This was my 5th day working and I should have received my 850 USDT salary as well.

You can resolve this quickly and with full effect. Contact me with your intentions.

I HAVE NOT ONLY LOST MY MONEY, I HAVE LOST OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY IN THIS ENDEAVOR. I will be sending this letter to all law enforcement and the BBB, Better Business Bureau. I applied to a job offer on UPWORK.COM which was about content creator for social media, then a woman contacted me and told me that I have to talk to JOSH SHEFFIELD on telegram to know more about the job. The job that he offered me was a data entry job that involves transcribing images to Word documents. He sent me FlexJob pdfs and all the job data, so I accepted. After doing the work they asked me for the payment information and I sent them my Paypal because I am from Latin America, then they told me that I had to pay a fee of $40 to link the accounts and for the money to arrive. They never told me that this was a requirement before so I blocked them and I didn't spend any money. But be careful because I spent 2 days doing the job and I didn't win any money.

I was offered a job as a data Data Entry Position at Regenity BioSciences Inc. on 4/10/23. I interviewed with Jessica Swanson and she directed me in the process. I was given a check for purchasing equipment for the remote role. I was told to deposit the check and once it cleared I would transfer the money to Jason Eggles for equipment and he would send me the equipment. On 4/19/23 a check was deposited for $4950 because I received a job offer and the check was supposed to be used to purchase equipment that’s what I was told. Once the check cleared and the money was made available I transferred $1000 x 2 ( total of $2000) through Zelle from Citibank for a purchase of equipment on 4/19/23. Then on 4/21/23 we were notified that the check of $4950 was a fraud and we lost $2000. If the check did not clear and the funds were not made available then the transfer would not have happened and I would have known that it’s a fraud. Since the check was a fraud and we already made the transfer of $2000 I lost $2000 of my own money which wouldn’t have happened if the check was not cleared and I was made aware it was fraudulent . I have filed a complaint with Citibank and appealed it. I have provided them with all the information that I have for their investigation and I have called numerous times to find out if they received the information that I have sent over through fax and mail and no one is able to answer if they received the information and yet I have been denied a refund/claim. I’m not sure how they are making a decision if they don’t know they have all the information to do so. I am not able to talk to someone that makes the decision only the representatives and supervisors when I call Citibank they state they can only email or send a message over to the back office where decisions are made regarding frauds and investigations but don’t know about if the paperwork I sent has been received which I was told to send over and have had to pay for. I have asked for all the information that was used to make a decision and I should receive it soon hopefully.

Responded to a LinkedIn job posting, and was made a job offer almost immediately with no interview OR resume WITH a digital contract. I have been working for nearly three weeks in the position of Remote Personal Assistant. I have received no payment, only the promise of payment. The person assigned to train me refuses to talk over the phone and only agrees to talk over WebEx. During training I have be requested multiple times to open personal investment accounts online and transfer money there.
