Hello I am currently still dealing with this issue any help would be appreciated. My email: ***************** The scammer I'm reporting:

Taylor Bastiste

Masterworks Gallery

I was looking for a job on ZipRecruiter and I came across an opening for a personal assistant. The link took me to this Google Doc ********************************************************************************... by a Taylor Bastiste claiming to work for Masterworks Gallery.

I applied for it because I thought it was something easy I could manage and I really needed the money.

The next day on 06/16/2023 I received an email telling me had been hired. A few days later on 06/19/2023 without any warning I received a check in the mail for $3,500. I was then told to take $400 out for myself and to take the rest of the money to buy three money orders and send them to Kissimmee, FL 34741 to an Edelika Leal with Fedex.

The problems started with the check I received from Taylor. My bank refused to deposit it so I ended up using my mothers bank, they were able to deposit it into their account, though it did take a couple days for this process. After the money had been received I purchased the money orders and sent them.

There ended being some problem with address and the order as of 07/01/2023 still hasn't been able to be completed, It's pretty much hanging in limbo in Kissimee, Fl.

On 06/27/2023 The check I was sent bounced and now my mother is 3,500 in debt and is about to lose everything. I have attempted to contact Taylor in regards to issue but they have stopped responding.

I am currently dealing with the bank and the post office to figure something out.

Avoid Taylor Bastiste AT ALL COSTS!!

Hello ?? I was asked to message Fira Sports on their Instagram account which is @Fira.Sport. If you click on this, you see fira.sport, which claims to be a clothing brand.

They mentioned me & several other people’s account name in a post claiming that they have a big opportunity for us, which I’m certain is to be a clothing ambassador, so this would make them a Sponsorship Scam. Anyway, the clothing is on their website http://www.firasports.com.

Anyway, as far as the opportunity is concerned, they claim to be selecting their 2023 team while asking me & others to message them.

I did that in order to decline the supposed opportunity, but when I did, here was their reaction: When I first declined, someone with the Instagram account rickysenaida6 mentioned my Instagram account under the post, but they have become so relentless that they’ve practically given themselves away for being a Sponsorship Scam because now, they’ve mentioned my Instagram name as well 7 more Instagram users about the supposed opportunity under another Instagram name known as hallbarnes34.

I don’t know your criteria since this is my first time reporting a scam. I believe that the reason that I haven’t experienced this until now is because not only do I not give out personal information on Social Media, but I also don’t take opportunities that I’m uncertain about, but the fact that I’ve been approached with two different Instagram accounts even though I’ve already declined is enough for me to raise eyebrows & believe that this is a “Sponsorship Scam.”

Anyway, I will be blocking every link; Instagram; & Facebook account that these people may use to try & contact me. I hope that this is enough information so that people can be warned & made aware of it. Good luck ?? ??

I applied for a part-time job personal assistant job and 'landed it' it with no interview of any kind. They had me sign some documents and sign up for a Webex account. It paid $29/hour which is a lot for a position with no actual interview. The lady I was reporting to sounded very robotic and made it seem like way to easy of a job. I deleted my account and blocked the email addresses instantly after she asked me for my drivers license.

Hello,

I was contacted by someone on What'sapp telling me about a job opportunity. They asked if I was above the age 25 and that the only requirement were a phone and data. I agreed to doing the job ask I was jobless at the time. I was then connected to another person on What'sapp who explained some details and then I started what was supposed to be work. Not long after I was being asked to buy currency to complete tasks. I questioned this and was told that was they only way and I must complete tasks if not I could be sued by the merchant. Up do date I have spent approximately 10000 Canadian dollars buying currency in barely one month. They are still requesting 5000 dollars and promising I would receive 10 times this amount with commissions. Even after telling them I don't have they insist and offering payment options which I still cannot afford. I told them this is very suspicious and that I would report them so they can be verified. They continue to insist they are legitimate. Yet their website https://www.appschopper.cyou is listed as one the scam alerts website.

I was contacted for this job that I did not apply for, sat in a Zoom meeting with Ishaq, who introduced himself as Alec, but in text was Louie. Claimed to be a marketing company with 6-8 months of training, $700-$1000 a week, then $75k a year when you’ve become a marketing director. Gave no answers about processes, said that it was a multi round interview. Company is not accredited by the BBB, nor is its information at the supposed address.

It was a reshipping package job. I filled out an W4 form as well as an I9 form for them. These people got my whole Identity my SSN, Address and Bank account numbers. I had no idea this job was fake. The process was that I receive packages to my address, and I reship them out to the end customer. You had to be employed with them for a month first before you can receive your first pay a direct deposit of $3500 after you can choose to receive it every two weeks. As the last day of my 30th day approached the packages stopped coming and the day I was supposed to receive my pay June 23, 2023 I got nothing and the website/account I was working from to send the packages and print the labels was no longer there. It just completely disappeared. I was receiving Electronic Devices. I received 11 packages in total. I started receiving the first package May 23, 2023. I would receive about 1 to 2 packages a day.

Without an interview or any further communication besides me sending my resume, I got an email saying I had gotten the job. Starting at $25/hr and raising to $30 after a month. Without any form of secure method, they wanted clear pictures of my ID (front and back), my social security card, a selfie of me, my complete mailing address, and of course my phone number. Of course, I didn't do any of it.

I was told I was hired to be an assistant to the art gallery owner, via email, without speaking to him once prior. He said my assignment was going to be sent via UPS. The next day I received a check and then was told to purchase money orders with it. I believe whomever this is is attempting some sort of money laundering or fraud. He/she continues to text me about sending the money orders overnight.

On 6/19/23, an alert was sent by the number given, offering me an interview for a Data Entry position with Valted Seq, Inc, and said I was required to download Telegram and set up an interview with Kyah Apollonia. When I connected with Kyah, it seemed like an actual professional interview. She explained I would be paid $20/hour during training for two weeks, and afterwards $35/ hour. She offered me the job after the interview, and informed me I were to be on Telegram at 7am the next morning to meet with my Training Advisor, Johnathan Gallatin. We went through the paperwork process by email. He sent a background check form, I-9, W-4, direct deposit, and an offer letter. I filled out the paperwork, emailed it back, and he informed me that we were done for the day. On 6/20/23, I connected back with Mr. Gallatin on Telegram at 7am. He informed me that I would be receiving a check to purchase equipment and softwares I needed to work from home. The only thing I was told to do this day was to track the check through FedEx. On 6/21/23, I received the check from OC Tanner with the address of 1863 S. Main Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, 811115. The check was $4,850 from Evidence Action with the address of 641 S. St, North West, 3rd Floor, Wework, Washington D.C. 20001. I informed Mr. Gallatin that the check arrived, and he told me to deposit it and send a picture of the receipt to send to head department. I finished doing that, and he then told me to send Karlie Young $1,000 through CashApp so I could start the process to receive equipment through their company vendor. A scam alert came on CashApp when I tried to send the money, so I confronted Mr. Gallatin through Telegram to make sure this was real. He reassured me, and then had me try to buy bitcoin, but it would never process, so he told me to withdraw cash from my account. When I got to the bank and attempted to withdraw, they were asking why and assumed that it was for a job offer. I told her yes, and she told me that it was most likely a scam and that I probably should not go through with it. I told them to delete the check and I blocked everyone who I spoke with for the job. When they deleted the entire amount of the check from my account, it put my account to -$995, and i had to ask my grandmother to help me get out of the negatives, so we lost $1,000. On 6/22/23, I received another check from the same address for $8,850. On 6/27/23, I received another job alert from the same number for the same position.

I applied to the initial job post on Indeed, and was messaged back immediately directing me to a "jotform" site to seemingly a further detailed application/next step in the process. I filled out the form and received an email approving my application explaining that my first job task will be texted/emailed to me the next day. I'm sent a text directing me to an email describing the expected task. I'm sent a check via USPS and told to deposit it in my bank account so I'm able to complete the task.
