I received a text stating I was looking for work from home, data entry position. I was asked to download Microsoft Teams for the interview process. After a series of interview questions, I was offered the position. First day was to fill out typical new hire forms. All seemed legit to me so I proceeded filling out all the forms. Then I was asked to provide a credit card to purchase equipment and software, I advised I only have 1 card and that card does not have much on it. They paid off my card so that I can use it to purchase apple gift cards. Essentially I didn't lose any money, since they paid for the full balance and it was essentially the same amount amount spent on the gift cards.

Applied for a job, got told to apply at partner company for assistant manager . Did so. Got interview, then job. Gave information. Did "training work"? Now I haven't had a task in five days and am supposed to get paid tomorrow but they won't message back.

I applied for a remote job with who I thought was White Construction. They sent me an acceptance letter stating I got the job then they proceeded to send me a W-4 to complete which had my social security number on it. I even had an interview via zoom on Dec 6th 2023 with a Teri Waganer. I spoke to her multiple times after my interview and she stated the company was creating my account which was why it was taking so long. This was on Dec 11th, 2023. That was the last time I heard from her.

I received a text message, "Hello XXXXXXXXX, Our HR team at GT Ventures has reviewed your resume in regards to your application for the Customer Service Representative (remote) position with a pay of $25/hr. "

He had a check Fed exed to me for $4655.00 to purchase office material. He told me to do a mobile deposit and send him a screenshot of the deposit.. Well, since I had set up a new account to deposit this money in, it wouldn't let me make a deposit that large in a new account so I told him it was over the allowed deposit amount for the day so he told me to go to the ATM and deposit it. I said ok but instead of the atm, I went inside the bank and ask them to verify the check. It was a fake check

It is a part/full-time professional position. You could start with part-time employment and continue into full-time, if you need the flexibility. This work-at-home position is responsible for generating purchase orders using the Company's money, compiling reports, preparing shipments, and other designated administrative duties. Basis salary will be $124,800.00 per year ($10,400.00 monthly) plus commission. The commission will be from 10% up to 25% of a purchase amount for every fulfilled assignment. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and Life Insurance.

Your primary responsibilities include: communicating with vendors regarding products and prices, product availability, service, quality, and other related issues; communicating with your Supervisor regarding vendor information as stated above; determining appropriate methods for product purchasing (from local stores/vendors or online sites), if not previously designated by the Company; prepare and process purchase orders; prepare all selected reports; place orders on a timely basis and ensure on-time delivery.

You will be responsible for the work designated by your Supervisor. You will not be required to relocate, and there will be no long-distance trip requirements. You can accomplish most of the work from home. Also, you will not be required to make any investment nor financial expense.

I recieved an email from them and was sent a cashier's check. I called the institute with the closest business name and they were not doing the secret shopper program at the time. I then called the institute that the was on the check to confirm it was real, it was not.

I got a mesaage from 786 772 1127 saying they saw my resume of administrative assistant/data entry and to download the signal app to meet with rhe hiring manager. This is what it said

Seemed legit . Wanted me to pick my position all were high paying 30$ hr no experience needed. Was hired right away no assessments no interview . Any hours I wanted . All thru email . Stopped when I realized their website is only 2 months old yikes!

I received a phone call from a lady with a strong accent with Biz Investment Management saying they saw my resume online and wanted to know if I was still looking for work. She stated they had a remote position available for part or full-time and that I would use my laptop until training was over, and then they would send me a work laptop. She stated that the position paid $3000 for training and then $59k per year for data entry and customer service. Was then asked a few interview-like questions like if I like to work well individually or with a team, have I ever missed a deadline, what do I do to ensure I don't miss a deadline, etc. Was then told that the manager would send me an email with the employee agreement form. I received the email with links. I never clicked on the email links and started googling the company. They do have a website, however, when I looked up the address in Florida, it was not a legitimate address and directed me to the street, but it was a residential area. After going back to the website, I noticed that there are several design errors in the website that a professional website would never have. I am a web designer, so these errors stood out quickly.

I was emailed by verde fulfillment USA saying I had applied for a quality control job. I was to receive shipment and ship it out to a foreign address. I gave our my number but when the mail came , my number was wrong and it was also wrong on the shipment detail.
