Seemed too good to be true from the start. I applied for the job and received a phone call. I did an over the phone interview. It was strange because the man I talked to had the name Patrick Hill but he sounded very foreign. I worked there for over two months and quit my real job for this. I received three paychecks from them in the amount of $140 and $180. I received and shipped back out over 60 packages. Today I was supposed to get a direct deposit of over $3200. Never received. My account was suspended this morning but now it’s back open. I’ve sent multiple messages and emails and haven’t heard anything back. They had multiple spelling errors in all the messages they sent and on the website itself. When you search Insizu on google nothing comes up I had a link to their website in an email. A lot of the packages I was sending were being sent to an Amazon facility.

So I just got hired at this company as a CSR personnel for a maya calhoun at jiosaavn media. I had applied on indeed and had gotten a response within a few days. Last I heard she said she was sending me a check through the mail to purchase my equipment and that check would also include my sign on bonus. It's been almost a week since I've heard from her and I'm starting to get frustrated because I really need this job

I received a contract, signed it and agreed to make shipments to new locations as a "Quality Inspector," making sure contents matched the description and checking for damages. However the peyment is salaried and commissioned based per month, 3200 salary and 15 per package if delivered within 24 hours. Except I believe i'm not going to get paid and continuing to assist federal criminals and wish to stop and turn these people in.

This scam had me working for them for two months. I was quality inspector for the company's packages that were shipped to me. I process and inspect them then get a shipping label to send them off. The first month's packages I was paid $20 for each that I processed. This was "probation." the next month would have been $3200 monthly for 80 or less packages processed. I did the work and at the end of March, two weeks to the end of March, they stopped all communication. I got no more packages and heard nothing about payment. The phones do not go further than the options screen. The hiring process was fairly legitimate and I thought I did my checks and balances. Their shopping website is still up and running and I still am able to access their CRM but nothing more.

I was emailed about a data entry job position starting off making $25/hr during training, then after training it will increase to$28/hr. I responded stating I was interested. I was then sent a site to click to do the assessment, which asked legitimate questions as far as assessments go. After completing the assessment, a couple of days later I received an offer letter which I signed. After that I haven't heard anything for two weeks. I started to research the company online to get a contact number. I emailed the company to follow-up on my job offer. I was emailed back stating that the person who was in contact with me did not work for the company.

I applied for a job on Indeed as a Package Processor with the company Heaven Smith of Plastic Shipping & Legistics US. It was a work from home possition, they sent you package and you made sure everything was in the package that needed to be. Then you ship the package out using a shipping lable provided by the company.

Received a job offer that was too good to be true. Email asked for personal information. Email domain was a red flag (gmail, not a professional domain). Grammatical errors were a red flag. Email stated their office was in Salt Lake City, UT. According to records online, this office was dissolved and they now have an office in Denver, CO. Job did not require interview. Could not find this supposed “HR Manager” named Austin Reed in their company directory.

On 1/11/23, I received an email for a job opportunity to work for the Finance Manager as a remote Administrative Asst. She sent me a detailed job description, including rates of pay for the one month probationary period and the full time rate once training assignment was successfully completed. I signed a contract and provided other information as requested, such as account # and routing # for direct deposit. I was to report to her every morning and evening once my workday was finished. She supplied me with training assignments and we communicated daily. I was to be paid for the first month on 2/24/22.She greeted me every morning and acknowledged receipt of my email. My workday started at 9am PST. She would proceed with my daily assignment. I completed each task as asked and sent her receipts of the transactions. The last time we communicated was on 1/23/22. On 1/24/22, there was no deposit made so I reached out to her. She never replied and I have not heard from her since. I am attaching one of the two receipt copies because I am not able to upload both files. Each total $100. I have copies of the contract and many other supporting documents as well.

I applied for a marketing assistant position at Bettis Brothers Sand and Gravel. "Jerome Bettis" reached out to me and said that the marketing assistant position had been filled, but he had an executive assistant position open right now if I were interested in that. I was interested in that position, so I replied that I was. He gave me the details of the position, and stated my pay up front. He then said we would schedule an interview, which got delayed and never happened. So, instead I answered a few interview questions over email and got the position. He sent me over a contract that looked very legitimate and stated everything a normal work contract would hold. I had other people look at everything he had sent me and what we talked about, and everyone said it looked legit. He then said he would be sending me equipment since the position is remote. He stated that the authorized distributor was going through an audit process, and the only way they would be accepting payment is through money orders from the post office. I was wary of this because why not just have your accountant pay the distributor directly instead of a brand new executive assistant. But I had not given out any sensitive information, so I decided to go with it. Then I received the check for nearly 5 thousand dollars, and was instructed that 700 of that was my payment, 2350 of it was to go to the authorized distributor (which the name was never given of who the distributor was after asking numerous times), and the rest would be used for other tasks. I saw no harm in depositing the check as none of the funds had been used or sent yet. That is when my bank contacted me saying they were 99.9% sure this is a scam and to not do anything with the money.

Alex Getschel reached out to me via email about a job opportunity, he sent me an employee contract and application form that I signed. The first two emails from him were very professional. Afterwards he sent me a employee verification form signed by him.

They had be doing data entry/personal assistant job. They sent me numerous personal addresses of individuals and phone numbers and a random banking info to put into Wise.com. There have been minimal phone calls, no video calls. Only conversation through email or messaging service.

- Dallas, GA, USA

I received an email from a Courtney Anderson about a job I did not remember applying for. I was told to download an app called Wire for a phone screening interview (text only) with a Mandy Skye. 2 days later, I was offered the job and sent documents for onboarding. This included a form for direct deposit. Immediately after the email, I got a phone call from "Courtney" saying to fill out the form and send it back, and they would not tell me more information about the job until I sent the forms back. The pay was incredibly good, 10 days pto, holidays off. Job was completely remote and they said they would need me to get a new phone for work but they would cover the cost. They also said all other equipment would be provided. When I called the number back, it was a google voice number.

They messaged me saying that they reviewed my application. Then they asked me to download Telegram and message the hiring manager (michaelhrm). They then proceeded to ask interview questions and told me I got the position. Afterwards, they said that I should check in tomorrow. When I realized that I was targeted by scammers and confronted them, they said they are cancelling my application.
