I bought an iphone as a gift on facebook and was never delivered to my address. Tracked it down with Fedex and the printing label was not even close to my address. The seller is selling the same phone I bought again on Facebook. Facebook never made her take it down or mark it sold! She could have sold it many times!

This fraud promises and sends contracts via text/email to install Christmas lights. He then never returns and will not answer his phone or respond to any type of communication. He scams people by installing lights one year then the next year will hound you for a payment to get a discount for the next year. This way he can get your money and he has your Christmas lights that you previously payed for the prior year. He uses Facebook marketplace to post his services and is ripping off a ton of people!

A pop up ad on FBook with a link to purchase "the most comfortable shoes for seniors" called Zekear Women's Ultra-Comfy Breathable Sneakers. The shoes are poor quality, at best, and not at all comfortable. Do not know name of company who sold product. Shows up on PayPal as "ClickMob". Return mailing address is : 1055 Sesame Street, Franklin Park, IL. A google search of this address shows comments with similar complaints to mine. I have no way to reach the seller to return item.

I clicked on the link for discounted Holiday Forever Stamps on my Facebook feed. I was brought to a website that looked like the real United States Postal Service website. I clicked on the stamps I wanted and then entered my payment method and shipping address.

After a week I did not receive my stamps, so I sent an inquiry to the customer service email on that website. I got a reply with very bad grammar and spelling and there were Chinese language characters after my email on the reply.

Ad on Facebook for lost Amazon packages. I purchased an unknown 50 items for $59.00 and received a set of miscellaneous ear buds with a message that they would love to hear from me with the email address of [email protected]. What a scam! I have tried to find them again on facebook and there are severa ads that look exactly like what I saw but they all have different names with the same ad.

On Facebook Marketplace, a profile under the alias of Justin Westbrook was selling a lot of sports cards including this 23k Gold 1997 Fleer Michael Jordan Card that had been graded PSA10 for around $300. On 11/17/2023, I reached out to him concerning the possibility of buying it and asked if he'd consider $250 for it all to which he accepted. However, we were too far away to necessarily meet for payment, so he told me he would ship out the product early in the morning! So, I paid him $265 for the product and assumed shipping costs via Cash App to the account $Samantham704 which he claimed to be his girlfriend's account. Naturally, the following morning, I received no further update or tracking number to monitor the product I was promised to receive. Furthermore, this same Graded Michael Jordan card, included in the set, was put up for sale by the account Cardboardfanatic-ig. Curious if this was 'Justin,' I reached out to him to find that it was actually someone who had already purchased the sports card lot back on 11/03/2023. From this individual, I received the address to which he had picked up the cards from which was **** ****** ******* ********* ***** ********, as well as a description of the assumed scammer in question. He informed me that this was a white man with a buzz cut. With this, I messaged 'Justin Westbrook' and requested for a refund both via Cashapp and Messenger to which he acknowledged that I was scammed and promptly blocked me. From what I understand, his facebook alias account is still up, as well as his girlfriend's Cash App account.

After some investigation work on my part, I believe the scammer's name is Brandon Meeks. From what I have ascertained and have been told, he has a criminal background. The address provided above is seemingly his girlfriend's house.

I placed an entertainment center on facebook marketplace for sale for 400.00. Was contacted by man wanting to buy, said he sent the 400.00 to me through Venmo. I was trying to set up venmo account and was asked to send him 200 and venmo would release 600 to my account and I had to send screen shot as proof. Then was asked to send 300 to make my account a business account and my account would be credited 900 which I did and sent asked for screenshot. still no money in my account. The next thing they asked for was a 300 dollar gift card and I was supposed to take a picture and send. At this point I finally got suspicious and said no and took entertainment center off marketplace. I have reported this and asked for my money back, but nothing as of today.

Using the name of Todd Lucas selling lawn sweepers on Facebook. Through emails claims there is no stock but yet continues to advertise them for sale. As part of the scam, he sends a 2" x 3" piece of plastic so that if and when you question the lack of delivery, he says we sent you a little something in exchange for your order. The postage cost more than the piece of plastic. So far have about 6 emails. Initially offered a 5% refund, now a 10% refund, both of which I refused stating 100% refund or the two lawn sweepers ordered.

I saw an add on Facebook for a new cologne, went to their website and purchased. They tried to charge my debit card 7 times, Bank of America called me to confirm sale, I confirmed 1 sale. After 2 weeks, their tracking system finally updated, said my package was in transit. Took another 2 weeks for the system to say ut was delivered. I reached out to them saying the product was never delivered, they told me since it's marked delivered, they can't refund me. I went to the USPS, they said the tracking number of my package was not in their system and probably fake.

?Hi,Sorry for keeping you waiting for so long.your order has been packed and shipped and is being delivered to its destination.

your order has been shipped, your tracking number is XXWUS0000759602YQ. It says it was delivered to Bedford MA. I believe this was a scam. They already got my money. I know it’s not a lot but it’s the principal of it all. No such tracking number. I have a few emails from them but nothing

This scammer pretending to be a buyer, who said that her name was Clorinda Hardy, sent me a message on Facebook marketplace saying that she wished to buy a TV stand that I had for sale for $20.00. She stated further that she wasn't on Facebook and sent me a phone number, 779-234-2838, so that I could text her about the item. I did naively text this person my address and said that she could come over to buy the article. She replied that she wanted to come over in about an hour. She stated further that she heard about fake posts on marketplace and wanted to send me a code to verify "the legit of" my post, and then she would call me. I replied that I don't do links and would bring the item out to her car. She said that I did not have to click on a link, but just "show [her] the code." By this time, I knew that she was a scammer, and so I told that I was calling the police. She then stopped communicating with me.

I ordered on FB. A link/Ad that looked legit. I ordered a purple pair and a blue pair for a “deal on 2” price. Also ordered the insoles. Was to get 2 pair of socks free. Took money right away. Got the shoes 2-3 months later. Kids size-cheaply made..and not even the colors I ordered. Beyond frustrated!
