Travis Salem of Salem Construction LLC was supposed to build a permitted cabin on my property, in Park County CO, for a total of $75,000 on 6-7-22 which included power, driveway and a septic system. I paid him half the cost of the project which was $35,000 for supplies to get started. The cabin was supposed to be completed in August. He started out with doing part of a driveway and it did not pass inspection and charged me extra for gravel because he didn't read the requirements from the county for a driveway. Before the driveway was finished, he started working on the septic and charged me well over and additional $35,000. While he did do some work on the septic, nothing passed inspection and I had to pay another contractor $20,000 to correct all the mistakes and finish the job on both the driveway and thre septic system. In April of 2023 he wanted to start on a solar system for the cabin and I paid him another $20,000. He never even got started on the project and by July he would barely return calls or texts. He claimed that the company did not have the battery when I finally got a hold of him and said it would be another 2 weeks before he would get started. Of course, he did nothing. I talked to an attorney in Sept and he said I should send a letter demanding my money back within 30 days. I did just that asking for money or materials, and he did not respond. By not putting the money fronted to him in a trust, under Colorado law he is guilty of theft.

I purchased 2 Green Bay Packer sweatshirts, order no. v000302040. They took my money on 09/22/2023 ($50), but I never received the shirts. I contacted them several times but received no response. The website I ordered them from was "Sakuraany.com." They also listed their website on their Facebook page. I emailed them and there was no response. I contacted my bank, but, so far, no response there either. I am out $50.

Scammer said that 11 year-old daughter passed away and she was giving away mac-book that her daughter never got to use. Only request was that I pay for shipping. Once I paid the 70 dollars requested to ship FedEx, scammer said that due to the weight of the computer, it would be another 40 dollars. i said I only had 20, and so scammer said she would cover the other 20. Soon after I sent the other 20, she deleted her facebook and messenger accounts and never sent tracking number or the macbook.

I was scammed on Facebook market place by someone named Wallace Webb. He sold me a fake item.

advertises he will build carports, etc. shows pictures of a good job done. I was referred from my sister-in-law that found them on Facebook and she had very simple carport done, but he has still yet to come back and due trim work for her.

I called him, and he arranged a time to meet, on Sept 28, 2023, to do a carport for my mother's house (mom is disabled, Elderly widow of a deceased Veteran,) with a sidewalk cover, as well as do an extension of our carport at our home. He quoted $5,300.00 for my mother's home for her carport and sidewalk cover, as well as $900.00 to do the extension on our carport. Since I had to leave town that week on business, and he stated he could get them completed before I was back, I paid him in full for both jobs. When I came back, he had only done the post, at moms' home, he was there about 3 hours per my mother and what I could see on ring camera, he at that time began avoiding our calls, as he was to come back that next day but did not to finish.

Had to contact him on his site and his Girlfriend Makayla stated her husband will be there Sat that week to finish the projects. I text the Friday before, and she gave me an excuse that they would be out of town, they totally forgot, and have a wedding to go to that weekend. She promised he would be out on Mon to work, not sure if he was back on Monday or a different day, and there was a lot of avoidance when trying to contact them. He did come back and work 4 hours, but never finished the job.

Mom has an almost complete Frame done, and two pieces of metal over the top of a 4-car carport, which does not even cover her car. He has not been back, and this is over a month later, as today is Nov. 8, 2023. He has never even begun our home that he was also paid to do. He has since removed his website for Calla Co Construction LLC in Clyde Texas. He had informed me on one of his last statements, that he was going out of business, but would finish these two projects on Tues. this week "he never showed up, and is no longer answering his text as him, as he is acting like he does not even know who I am.".

We have contacted the DA office to see what can be done, they told me to get a police report, contacted the police and was told by officer they will not do a report without a written signed contract, which Micheal was going to give to my mom the next day, as he did not have them with him when he met with me. I have now been informed this is a Civil Matter, but the Abilene Police Dept. I will continue to press forward to see what else can be done, but it is not looking good, as far as law enforcement assisting with a report. Would like everyone else to be warned of the couple scamming people in our area, as one other person reported to me that they were scammed out of $10,000.00 already them, and others have stated the couple is notorious for this kind of scam.

An individual, name Wendelin George claimed a friend of mine won 90k dollars through a grant and that I may qualify for a cash amount.

He claimed I was entitled to an award of 50K and could claim my prize once I send him three 500 dollar gift cards, and I did send him those cards. Than I was told I needed a Fed Ex shipping certificate and Fed Ex would deliver a check to me for the 50K. He said this fee was $5,500. I told them in so many words to forget it but a lesson was learned to me and it cost me $1500, ...*** ******

I was provided a list of the amounts available and how much I need to provide to obtain that money. I was asked not disclose this information until I received my check.

Ad on Facebook said going out of business sale on White Mountain puzzles. I ordered puzzles. I got an email saying they were on the way, to arrive soon. I got an additional email saying they had been delivered and signed for on a day that USPS does not deliver packages (Sunday). It’s been over a month. Nothing was delivered. They charged my credit card. They changed the charged amount by about a dollar and change, It wasn’t easily identifiable. I sent an email to the support number several weeks ago. Got responses assuring me my order was being replaced and don't worry second package is coming but still nothing. I’ve disputed the charge to my credit card company. The pictures of the puzzles in the ad were the exact same Puzzles that White Mountain Puzzles sells in their catalog. White Mountain Puzzles is a legitimate good company with great puzzles. But this ABT*GLEVIT is a scam.

I paid for downpayment of a vehicle presented in a Facebook Group titled "cheap cars for sold under $1500 And Above". The agreed upon price was $1500 with a down payment of $250. The balance payable in installments of $250 or paid in full. He was supposedly drawing up a bill of sale while I get insurance quotes. After shopping for insurance and providing him proof of coverage so that I am prepared to take ownership he then refers me to a logistics company that needs to deliver the vehicle to me for a test drive and approval. They required $200 so I sent that to them at a separate number. (Both transactions totaling $450 were sent via Apple Pay, linked to my bank account.) The "logistics" team then mentions $400 is required for insurance of tranporting the vehicle. That's when this became suspicious to me. There was no prior mention of these fees and it led me to believe that they were nickel and diming me. I had a feeling if I had paid the $400 then something else what have come up. I don't believe they had legal possession of this vehicle at all because no bill of sale was ever shown to me. I asked for a refund and was ghosted. I tried both parties again just yesterday (11-2-2023) and got a response from the individual I paid the $250 for the down payment to. I caught him up in his own bs when he attempted to give me a phone number to the "logistics" team to follow up with. It was my own number he was giving me. This man was downright uncooperative, nasty and unprofessional, an extremely frustrating and difficult person, not to mention **** ** **** to deal with.
