FC Windows owner Fernando Castanon came to estimate a door installation. He quoted me the price of the door. I paid him through Venmo. He never returned and did not respond to my multiple inquiries. It turns out he has been scamming people at least since 2020, per the business' Facebook page, Thumbtack's customer reviews, and ScamPulse.com's complaints. He is still active in scamming people. Someone from FB told me about his recent experience. Fernando is the owner of another business by the name of Property Preservation Solutions. Someone hacked my account (allegedly deleted) on Facebook, took and deleted all of my personal information, changed the profile picture and name, and changed all the login credentials so I can no longer access it.

Scammer named Smith Luis in facebook page. I attempted to purchase iPhone 13 return products from him, and after wiring the money to the provided bank account (details below), he asked for an additional $1000 even I paid $3800. Despite paying the product and shipping fees, I have been ignored when requesting a refund.

I was called and told I owe almost $300. for subscription for 2 facial creams. I had ordered trial size and paid shipping only for this. I received a phone call telling me I didn't cancel my subscription in time and would be charged for upcoming deliveries. If I wanted cancel now I could do so now for a mere $101.93. When I pay this they would give me cancellation numbers for the products. I was dealing with severe illness and I finally said I would pay and gave them my card number. They tried to send it thru but didn't have my correct mailing address so my card declined it. Since I did order the trial and received it they should have had the correct mailing address. I tried to call the number given but when it answers it just hangs up.

Okay i was on Facebook saw a ad on there about shein blow out sale. Well i have ordered from shein so many times i never gave it any thought. So i ordered from there getting all kind of clothes, boots, shoes. Well after a month later i contracted them about my order. It said it was coming from a different place then in the email they sent to me saying it was coming from China. I thought it was odd because shein never did that before. So i went on shein website got a hold of them and they told me it might be a scammer. It was not there company. So i contracted tgem again and they told me they are not a scammer my package was being delivered soon well i got a ring in the mail i never ordered or never saw before. And i went online and so many other people got the excited same ring that i gotten. Then when i tried to back track the usps to see where it was coming from it said from California. It was from this address in California. And i went back on the email and it said it was delivered. It was a total different tracking number that was giving to me. So there was nothing to track them by online. So they are coming from California not China. Or they are getting all the items from the store and that company is taking people orders and keeping them and shipping out rings instead. I dont know what to believe anymore. I just know its all a scam. Im out of $109.00 for something that is fake and not what i ordered. This needs to be stopped. This cant be keep happening to everyone who buys from the internet. Dont know who to believe anymore. What is real or what is fake. I just know that i made this order and then a few days later i made another order of 28.29 from someone else and its doing it all over again. Thats 2 company that i got scammed from off the internet on Facebook. So really im now out of 135.00 dollars because of scammers and i feel no one is really doing anything about it. I can send you the screen shot of the order number they sent me and the item they sent me and show u that its 2 different order numbers and then send u a picture of the place i bought my items from and it says delivered. But when i tried to upload the file it wont let me.

The scammer (Sizzzy) used a website on Facebook which showed a store site where you could purchase different types of stainless steel and silver rings. Furthered more with discount coupon if you purchase more than one item. This included free shipping if so. It appeared like a legit site. I even went to Google and saw the site store (now you can’t even have access. I submitted the order on around 09/10/2023. Since last week I’ve contacted via e-mail ([email protected]) with back and forward reply with z guy name “Paul” (no phone number can be found just the e-mail above mention). This morning on his last reply he told me (on a tracking number which I confirmed in the post office not to be tracked by postal services) that my purchase was delivered on 10/16/2023. This is a total false statement due to the fact nothing is traceable. It has to be a way for Facebook to put a stop to this scam websites. I’m a veteran and I hate how this scammers take out money, and for some others assets to hard working Americans.

I found a handicap-accessible van on Facebook Marketplace that i wanted to purchase for my mother. The van supposedly was in Virginia. I sent the owner $3,500 via an electronic payment app for the vehicle and then gift cards for the $500 shipping charge. They came back and asked more for shipping, which tipped me off to that this might be a scam. I never received the vehicle.

still contacting me to this day asking me for more money ..

they have multiple venmo and cash app accounts they give you to make payment once u send the first one they get into your account and have at your account ..

The scammer posted on Facebook under the name Sharon Swartzlander that she had tickets for a concert that she was selling. Comments were turned off and she said to private message her. I did, and she offered me the tickets. I said I would pay half and the other half when I received the tickets. She sent me a Venmo account to pay to, by the name of Adrianna Castillo, who she said was her husband. I sent half the money, and she asked me to send another $100 because her husband was pressuring her. I said I wasn’t sending any more until I received the tickets. She said she would send them right away. I never heard from her after that and she blocked me.

***** ***********, a classmate from high school, on Facebook, asked me if I received a cash refund that Fox reported last week on Social Administration Office of Acquisition? Grant monies can be claimed by going to Facebook website: www.facebook.com/100090270157940/. The site: Agent Phillips Scott, government organization.

Page # 109459378320781 created 2-6-22. The agent asked for name, addr, gender, age,occupation, phone #, rent/own,, monthly income. GAVE info w/o providing my PIC and Driver's License, per request. Comments were made by way of Paulo and the linked agent. Idea was to receive cash or check when UPS delivers monies. Delivery cost $2,000.00. Supposedly, the grant program was thru Publishers Clearing House partnership Contracts for Health. Wrote Paulo about too much monies to pay. I thought I would contribute $250, he would pay $500. Pressure to trust them. Felt a little threatened by worded comment from Paulo. Agent said I would receive $90,000.00. I said that I would think about it.

The item pictured in the online Facebook advertisement is described as a 6 X Gus crease black hat. What i got was a cheap made crushed hat in a small box. When i complained they offered $10 and instructions on how to reshape the hat. They refused to have it returned and ignored my request for refund.

This scammer is posing as a musical instrument store and is trying to sell a vintage Conn 10M Tenor saxophone for $1000 on a Facebook group. These instruments are worth $3000, so by offering an attractive low price, he is trying to get me to message him privately to buy from him. When I raised the issue that he was fraudulent, he blocked me, deleted his post with my comments flagging the fraud, and posted again to the group.

I ordered a product from the Happy Shop store on Facebook. The product arrived and the size was nowhere near American sizes, and the product quality was incredibly poor. I attempted to return it, and realized there was no order confirmation sent, and there was no order info in the packaging. I did find an email address in the package and they did reply promptly. However, their return policy is only 7 days ( I was now on day 2) but they told me it didn't make sense to return it is I'd have to pay the return shipping to Asia. (Probably China!?) They offered to refund me 10% only of the amount of the purchase. They clearly know US customers will not be happy with the product, and why they don't provide for a local return or a reduced shipping return that makes the shipping feasible. Their decision on my behalf confirms their scam. Further, this is only the second time I've ordered a product off a Facebook ad, but it will be the last. The first time I had a similar experience with another country. I tried to report them to Meta (Facebook) but they only allow me to say "it's a scam" but not explain the deceptive business practices of "Happy Shop," their failure to disclose these terms at the point of sale, etc...Meta clearly doesn't care about the scams that occur on its site either. These are bad faith business practices and the buyer really does need to beware.

I responded to a treadmill for sale on facebook. I thought this person was familiar to me as my neighbor was listed as her friend on face book, also i thought i knew her husband , as he was a contractor on a house I built. She agreed to deliver and then requested deposit of $150 which my daughter sent via Venmo. She then requested full amount and that is when i got suspicious! I even called her real husband and he said his wife’s e mail was hacked.! And she was not selling a treadmill!! He also called me to ask for copy of Venmo as his wife has been getting several calls.

I was replied to saying the item was for sale and was told they could not use paypal or other services because they were too young, I verified that they knew details about the item, and trusted a video on the website. I verified that the name matched the zelle account and planned to pay half now and the other half when I got a tracking number. Within 24 hours the initial ad was deleted and I have no tracking number now and no way to get my part in the mail.

On October 16th, 2023, I was ordering some fresh fruit via the Facebook page with this link: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552045073257&mibextid=LQQJ4d .My zelle account is ******, phone number of my Zelle account if ************** I transferred the money via Zelle for this person named Darren Ho with the phone number of 206-758-1686 of the Zelle account. They also have a zelle account under the name of Lawrence A Berger with the phone number 775-764-8556. They also used this phone number as 681-591-2907. This person cannot be contacted anymore because they blocked my account on Facebook and I have tried to contact my bank for suspect of fraud or scam. Please do anything in your authority to help.

Ordered Little Tyke projector and storybooks. Never received package. Didn’t know it was coming from China. They gave me a bogus tracking number. Their emails have 3 different company names. They told me it was delivered and it was my problem. Then, a few days after our credit card was charged $1.100. We had to cancel credit card and get a new one. Their advertisements are all over Facebook and Instagram. I hate this would happen to someone else.

Purchased shoes from company on Facebook. Used debit card, they sent confirmation on subscription to website, tracking for package that was supposedly delivered 2 months later in Georgia ( I live in Ohio ) every message I sent about not receiving my purchase so please refund me - they was always replied two days after my messages, telling me to relax they’re locating & resending my order. Payment was taken from my bank ( debit) 6/16/23 from birkenstock1966GBRH
