Saw in a work for home group about working for Molina Healthcare, the recruiter said inbox for an opportunity. I did and the steps were to download Microsoft teams. When I downloaded teams I was contacted by Molina healthcare, it was supposedly the hiring manager. They asked for name, ID, address, and phone number. Had to do an interview where they ask typical work questions and submit a resume'. Eventually when they said I got the job they sent me an email, and it lists the job description and pay, and sign it like a job contract in pdf format. After accepting the position, in the Microsoft teams app they asked for bank routing number saying that they're gonna send funds to use to get equipment. I Eventually caught on and didn't feel comfortable. After u ended all that I've been getting Amazon notifications saying my account has been showing funny activity and that it's gonna get suspended

I was on Facebook and saw I had a friend request from my cousin. After I messaged him, he replied and after the second paragraph he begin to ask me if I heard from GFA. I asked him who was that. Then he proceeded to tell me he was given $150,000. I then told him no thank you. He was persistent and kept asking me questions. I then knew it was a scam. Before this I thought he was a long lost cousin. I ended the conversation and blocked him.

Scammer stated he and his wife had pug puppies for sale. Because the puppy was 3 hours away and we reached out in the evening, we did not see the puppy but we agreed to pick up the puppy the next day and provided a $250 deposit.

The next day we drove to pick up the puppy but the scammer was demanding full payment. We said we'd pay when we saw the puppy and after getting to the address provided, there was no one there. I messaged the scammer and he said because we refused to pay in full we had to wait an hour and then he'd be there. But if we paid if full he'd be there in 20 min. I asked to video chat with him and the puppy but his phone would accidentally hang up. We called the police and animal control, both of which said it's a civil manner but we probably got scammed.

Red Flags I should have noticed - his name was Thomas Harry and his wife's name was Laura Galloway. Neither persons Facebook family photo was the same people (the wife wasn't the same, the husband wasn't the same, etc.). He did send me multiple photos and videos of the dog but refused to video chat. When I did speak to him on the phone his voice/accent didn't match his Facebook page (his Facebook page was a Caucasian male, he spoke with a deep Indian accent. His name on Facebook is Thomas Harry but his PayPal account is @TonyWatts23. His wife Laura blocked us from their pug Facebook page.

For FB hack - I received an email saying i violated the terms on my business account. I didn't go through the email link, instead went through my fb page. There was a notification that i violated terms and that i needed to verify my information. After doing so, i was disabled from my account. I also received a call from a scammer and ignored because my phone indicated it was a scammer, but they immediately called back. I answered since i thought it must be urgent. It stared my name and asked if i had recently tried to change my password. I indicated no, then it sent me a text asking me to put in the number. It concluded the call after i did so.

After the FB hack, they attempted to get into an electronic wallet (Gemini) by calling me, asking if I attempted to change my password. When I hung up because I wouldn't enter in the code they texted me, they called me every minute for about 15/20 min. They called from 3 different numbers. I blocked all of them. The attempt on Gemini was a day after they hacked my FB account.

I asked her if I could have my money because I unfortunately don’t know when I’ll be having her party she stated she already paid $60 & would only give me $20. I let her know that I was not going to accept and she sent the $20 and will not give me the $60 and ended up blocking me on everything. Western New York Construction (Brett Hogerman) responded to my wife's Facebook posting to the Spencerport Community group looking for a deck contractor. After meeting with Brett and discussing our needs we signed a contract (May 2022) and paid the required deposit (50% of the cost). After this point, Brett stopped returning our calls and messages and hasn't set foot on our property, nor have any materials been delivered. The work was contracted to be complete by 9/1/2022. I contacted the NYS Attorney General's office and they said they would help, but several months later contacted me to say they were also unable to get in touch with Mr. Hogerman. I can see that he is still active pursuing work via his Facebook account. I don't understand why this isn't considered a crime. If there is anything you can do to help, or guidance you can provide, I would greatly appreciate it. If you need additional information, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you very much.

They acted as though they were a friend of mine on facebook and were in need of a phone number to send me a code to unlock their account. As a result of giving my phone number the next thing I new the hacker was attempting to take money from my facebook account in multiple transactions. My bank is disputing the first three transactions and the remainder were block by the bank. After that happened I realized my facebook password, email and phone number on my account had been compromised. This happened Sunday evening and I still cannot access my facebook account. I've tried all of the suggested methods even uploading my id. I don't know how the other person can have access to my account with having valid id. Please help.
