The scammer calls himself Agent ******* ******** and has a Facebook page in that name. He claims to work for the Department of Health and Human Services. He contacted me via Facebook's Messenger app using the pic and profile of a woman I know from church. I was led to believe that she was contacting me and other people from church about how the Department of Health was giving away money to disabled or retired workers and that I should contact Agent ********, which I did via email. He told me that my name was on a list of "winners" and I would receive a check for $500,000 via FedEx. All I had to do was pay $1000 in Apple gift cards to pay for taxes and extra security personnel for the delivery?! That made absolutely no sense. I realized it was a scam.

Ordered angle statues with meaningful sayings and received a cheap *** fake diamond ring that’s worth nothing! Had the same tracking numbers. See numerous people on internet and TikTok experienced same thing!

- Azle, TX, USA

I answered a question on Facebook and was immediately contacted by messenger, saying that they were humanitarian financial assistance and that they were giving me 1500 dollars. All I had to do was pay 30 dollars to get the 1500 dollars within 30 minutes.

I am not the person to do this. This will be my first time. I hired this man and his company to come do an inspection on my foundation and repair mortar for my home. I told him that this was time sensitive due my buyers being on day 5 of 7 day option period and they wanted this done before they didn’t have a chance to back out of this purchase. I completely understand where my buyers are coming from because I am also buying home at this time.

Jared came to my home Wednesday around 6pm and walked around looking at my foundation. I told him I need a report written up for the foundation inspection and documentation on the repair estimate for the mortar. The following day I could not reach him after paying 600 dollars. Finally at 10:40am on 4/6/23(the following day), I asked for an official document of the foundation inspection, along with the mortar repair paperwork. He told me give him 2 hours to get back to the office and type it up. He said due to weather, he may have to wait till 4/7/23 to do the mortar. I completely understood due it needing to cure appropriately. But after a 2 min conversation, he blocked me. Would not return my calls or text messages. I have not heard from since that 10:40am conversation yesterday. I had to pay another 500 to someone else to compete the work needed and they finished it today. They provided all the documents necessary. I just want my money back. I feel as if I was scammed. I do not want this to happen to someone else. I know things happen and we get busy, but update would have been nice. Just ignoring me is unprofessional and not doing the work and taking my money is wrong.

Below I have provided the guy and his company. Along with proof of me trying several times to contact and proof I paid him. I provided proof I paid someone else money to complete the job.

Please help me get this man to return my money!!

My bank, cashapp, nor the police could help me.

It best tactic was saying he is available anytime and can get jobs done quickly.

I have requested but not got a refund.

The Scammer Is Named Johnson Wells on Facebook and says he’s from Publishers Clearing house. My uncle told me about him and I sent him the first message. It got very weird quickly because he asked for my FULL NAME and then immediately sent me a CONGRATULATIONS picture and said I qualified for the program. Then he was rude about giving me more information about the program of which is giving “free” money or non government grants. He then proceeded to send a picture of the form he wanted me to fill out. The picture looked like it was taken with a phone and the picture looked like it was a computer screen with a survey on it with someone else’s information badly edited out.

Container never delivered. Agreement broken on their side.

A Facebook post was made offering Siberian kittens for sale. The scammer contacted me through Facebook when I looked at the post. He offered to meet me at 25720 H Hwy,

Weston, MO to sell a kitten for $450 but he would need a deposit of $200 to hold the kitten, which was paid through VENMO. Then the seller asked for my name, address, email and phone number. His grammar and spelling was bad and we only spoke through Facebook messenger. Then he started making excuses for not meeting. He asked for the full payment. When I refused he used fowl language. I asked for the deposit to be returned and he agreed, but has since deleted the VENMO info and has not been responding to Facebook messenger inquiries.

Found a chihuahua puppy on Facebook for $600. Have been talking to her for two weeks. Was supposed to go pick her up today but seller had an emergency and then supposedly she was going to be delivered via fast shipping pet carrier service. They waited until time for her to depart to ask for a $300 crate fee and then 2 hours later said they couldn’t deliver unless I paid another $400 for a pet insurance policy. Now she is undeliverable today and will be delivered tomorrow but I think I have been scammed.

I was looking for Taylor Swift tickets and I found a group on Facebook reselling tickets to others who needed them. So we were chatting on Facebook messenger and the price was $250 per ticket and I was getting 4. I sent the $1,000 on Venmo to them (the Venmo name didn’t match their name), and then they set it up to transfer on Ticketmaster. Then they said they needed $200 on PayPal to make the transfer happen so I sent that too (another different name on PayPal that didn’t match). And then now after $1,200 sent they said they never got it and requested another $200 to do the delivery fee which I didn’t send. On google and the Ticketmaster website, there are no fees of any sorts when transferring between Ticketmaster accounts.

He told me I get 1milion

Dollars aswell new vehicle said I was to pay 50 gift card for gas fee

William Charlotte posted on profile Bassett Hound puppies for adoption. Posted pictures of puppies available. Also James Morgan Luton is posting the same puppies for adoption. They claim to be able to be able to deliver the pup to your home. They asked for my name, address and phone number. They requested $200 deposit via zelle, venmo or paypal. I did not send them any money but they were very pushy on getting the deposit. I asked them what is their breeder website and link also, theyre location. Once I asked them these questions, they never responded back. They both have the same pup pictures. Both promising to deliver a puppy this weekend.

Yes his name is Michael Jeff federal agent that made promises to me and I never won ANY grant money for $150.000.00 and he was controlling, rude and manipulative.

- Lorton, VA, USA

I made an agreement with Noe for him to do stamped concrete, sitting wall, firepit and an outdoor kitchen area with a prime installation. After 2 months of lies, none responsiveness and failure to adher to getting the job done, he decided to go mia and not respond to my many calls. unfortunately for me, I had paid him almost 80% of the amount with an uncompleted job. they left my backyard in a mess and my whole driveway and street very dirty. Noe doesn't know how to do any of the work, he contacts it out to other incompetent people and is never there when the job is being done to supervise. Noe Gonzales is a lier and never who set out to defraud me from the get go and had no intentions on completing the work we agreed on.

I have an item posted for sale on Facebook marketplace. Arnita Gomash messaged me and sent me a personal phone number to text them on. I texted them and they said they wanted to verify that I was a real person via google verification code. A verification code was sent to my phone number and they asked for it. I did not give them the code, but they were attempting to gain access to my accounts.

I ordered a foldable storage rack using an ad on facebook. I never received my storage rack but I paid 24.92 for it. They sent a compact mirror for your purse (5.00 value). They also use the name Vailvity. Facebook needs to be held accountable also for recommending and advertising these companies that scam.

I am a member of several basset hound groups on FB. I have a situation that needs to be brought to your attention, as I will be sending this same email to the other groups I belong too. I was communicating with one of the members on one of the groups that was advertising selling basset hound puppies. Had a long conversation with him, Aaron Lancaster. I have the conversation between Aaron Lancaster and me. There are currently 61 pages as it includes the images in which I shared with him over the time of conversation. The name of this individual on the account is Harista Lancaster. They live in Columbia, SC according to the bill of sale that Mr. Aaron Lancaster sent me, which he signed before sending it to me to sign. I know anyone can draw up a document off the internet today, which I am sure that is what they have done, but they don’t realize that they have truly screwed with the wrong individual when it comes to 1) Money and 2) Basset hounds. These are the kind of people who give people who are not breeders a bad name when they are trying to truly sell puppies. It does state that my deposit would be refunded if the puppy was not delivered as promised. Well, today 31 March 2023 I drove to Whitesville, North Carolina to meet with the sellers and complete the transaction, only to find that everything had changed according to what we had agreed upon on the 13 March 2023. This person Harista Lancaster is a scammer and apparently Mr. Aaron Lancaster is the front runner. I have since returning home today, sent an email to the local news channel in South Carolina and North Carolina, which I included the Bill of Sale to show them this was real, but they probably won’t care about it b/c it’s not millions of dollars or a bank to report on. Again, I don’t know exactly which group these people belong to, but word needs to get out to ALL of our groups about these people. I knew it was a scam when the following statement was made to me in a text message: When you get the gift card I'll actually know you are there from the receipt.
